Sasuke's pov

"Sasuke?"

I looked at Naruto, thinking it was him, but I saw him looking at someone else, his smile gone. I followed his eyes to see someone with black hair and blond ends. Do I know him?

"Yes?" I asked, sitting up straight.

He looked at Naruto and stepped away a little, looking back at me. "Can we talk..?"

I furrowed my eyebrows, who the hell is this?? Maybe I met him on a mission one time? No, I don't think so. Why do I feel like he's so familiar??

I nodded and he looked at Naruto again. Naruto was staring at him and I could tell he didn't like him, I just don't know why.

"Alone?" He asked. This guy's kinda creepy. I think he's scared of Naruto. But then again, everyone is, I don't know why, he's such a big puppy dog. I pat Naruto's leg and stood up, "I'll be back, can you get us something to eat?"

Naruto looked at me confusedly and I could see him frowning. "But-" "It's okay, Naruto. I'll be right back, go get us something to eat."

He sucked his teeth and looked at the other guy, mumbling something under his breath as he walked away.

I looked at the guy and he watched Naruto walk away, leading me a ways away from our seats.

"So, what do you need? How do you know me?", I asked him, leaning against a wall.

"So that's Naruto?" he said, more to himself than to me. His tone had a hint of disbelief.

"Yeah, that's Naruto," I replied, a bit confused. Naruto's always been Naruto, and he's the Hokages first son as well as a jinchuriki, everyone knows who he is. "What's this about?"

The guy shifted nervously, his eyes darting around before finally settling on me. "You don't remember me, do you?"

I crossed my arms, trying to place his face. It had to be from a mission. Maybe I was tired and mindlessly making conversation. "Should I?"

He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Two weeks ago. There was a party. You were pretty drunk."

My mind raced back to that night. I had vague memories of drinking, feeling lightheaded, and... making out with Naruto before he fucking left me. It's fine, it's fine; I needed the time to clear my head. "Wait, you were there?"

His expression softened, a mix of relief and awkwardness. "Yeah. You called me Naruto that night."

Realization hit me like a ton of bricks. "That was you?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

He nodded. "I didn't realize you were mistaking me for someone else until you kept calling me by his name. I tried to tell you, but you were... persistent."

The memories flooded back like a piece had finally clicked.

"Come on, you know we both like each other, and since you don't wanna dance with me, I figured we could do something else you might like!", I pulled him along by his shirt away from the party. The party was where Itachi was, and he'd yell at me if he saw me doing this.

Naruto followed after me, not saying much. We got to the front of my compound and I looked at him, smiling. "Sit!" He sat down and I sat on his lap.

"Sasuke— maybe-" I shushed him, taking off my jacket and putting it on the ground next to us, taking his hands and putting them on me.

I played with his hair, wondering if he cut it. It doesn't matter, he's still my Naruto. "I really, really like you, Naruto," I whispered against his lips.

He laughed a little, "Who's that?"

"That's you, silly," I kissed him. He smiled and pulled me closer, "Okay, yeah, that's me."

Guilt washed over me. "I am... so sorry. I really thought you were Naruto."

He shrugged, trying to play it off, but I could see the hurt in his eyes. "It's fine. I just... wanted to talk to you about it."

I felt a knot form in my stomach. This was a mess. "Look, I didn't mean to drag you into this. I was just... I was really drunk."

He took a deep breath, stepping closer. I tried to step back but I realized I was against the wall. Fuck me.

"Sasuke, I didn't just come here to clear things up. I came because... I like you. I felt something that night, and I think you did too, even if you were drunk. I want to see where this could go."

...

HUH?! What the fuck Sasuke, what do you get yourself into. This was the last thing I expected. "I... I don't even know your name," I admitted, feeling a bit overwhelmed.

"It's Kaito," he said, his voice steady despite the situation. "I know this is sudden, but I had to tell you."

I looked at him, processing his words. "Kaito, I appreciate your honesty, but... I don't feel the same."

He laughed and ran his hands through his hair, "Sasuke, that doesn't make sense, you're just confused. You don't do what we did and act like it's nothing."

"Okay, Kaito, it was a drunken mistake. I'm sorry it happened and I'm sorry for leading you on, but just because it happened doesn't mean I'm obligated to be with you." I took a step closer to the street.

He noticed this and looked at me, "Wait, wait, where are you going?? No, you can't leave, we need to talk. Sasuke, I- I love you, Sasuke, and you told me you love me too!"

"I mistook you for someone I do love and accidentally told you that. I'm sorry for the confusion but I'm not looking for a relationship... with you. I've never met you before."

He laughed again, this time a little more crazed. "That- That's not true. We've met before Sasuke! You had just started the academy and I was graduating soon, remember??" What the fuck? How old is he??

"No, I don't, can I leave? You're making me really uncomfortable..." I took another step.

He grabbed my wrist, "Sasuke, you can't! That night was a sign! A sign that even though we had to go our separate ways, it was destiny for us to be together!!"

I winced at the pain, trying to pull my arm free. I don't want to harm a civilian or even another shinobi... Can't he just let go?? I don't want to make this situation worse than it already is. Why'd I come here?? Why'd I drink in the first place?! Mom, what the hell!! Why do you let us have so much freedom!?

"Kaito, can you just let me leave please?"

He took a step closer but was pushed back moments later. I saw that recognizable blond hair and exhaled, looking at my wrist. It started to bruise already. This better not affect the mission tomorrow.

"He said fuck off, are you deaf?", Naruto asked him.

I looked at Kaito who made a poor attempt to swing on Naruto. Naruto dodged it and punched him all in one swift move. I made sure to back up as I watched, looking around in case anyone saw.

Kaito staggered but Naruto didn't stop.

Kaito fell on the ground, Naruto didn't stop.

Kaito tried to kick Naruto as he got closer, Naruto still didn't stop.

He got on top of him, fists flying and I saw a smirk of satisfaction on his face. Kaito obviously tried fighting back but Naruto didn't let him. And you may be wondering or thinking: Sasuke you're being messy, why don't you stop him? This is your fault.

I know, okay?? But like I said it's just something about the way Naruto moves when he fights and it just makes me lose all rationality.

Naruto landed every punch and each one elicited a groan of pain from Kaito. Naruto's so protective of me. I really love this man.... I'm gonna get him pregnant.

I started to notice whispers gathering around the alley and was brought back to my senses. "Naruto, that's enough," I told him, making sure not to get too close. He landed a final punch and got off him.

"I should've fucking done that last time," he grumbled.

I grabbed Naruto's arm and led him back to our seats, letting the passersby take care of Kaito. While people knew who Naruto was, they also knew the Hokage let him get away with pretty much everything, and everyone was terrified of him in the first place, so it's not like anyone would say anything.

I sat him down at the tables and before I could say anything, he was looking at me. "Are you okay? I'm sorry I didn't get there quicker. I should've just left the fucking food. No, I'm sorry I let you go in the first place," he looked at the ground. "I'm sorry I'm so stupid."

I shook my head no. "I told you to let me go, and it's not your fault. You were just listening to me. Thank you for protecting me. I should've beat his ass myself though... fucking pervert," I mumbled.

I looked at his hand, his knuckles covered in blood and cuts that were healing as we spoke. Damn, I wanted an excuse to take care of him.

Naruto followed my gaze to his hand and gave a sheepish smile. "I got a little carried away," he said, flexing his fingers.

"When don't you?" I replied, smirking a little. "Let me see."

He held out his hand, and I took it gently, inspecting the cuts. Even though they were healing, I could still see the raw skin and the beginnings of bruises. I lightly poked one of the cuts as it was healing, looking at my finger afterwards.

"Doesn't this hurt?", I asked. "I know it heals, but it still has to hurt; your knuckles are all busted."

He shrugged, "I've had worse. Maybe it's all the adrenaline."

I paused, thinking about everything Kaito told me, what I remembered.

"Naruto, I–" "We can talk about it later," he interrupted. I looked up at him and he gave me a smile. "I don't feel like wasting money on more food, if there isn't anything specific you want, we can go to my house and I'll cook for you."

He's just going to act like nothing happened...? What am I saying? Of course he is, it's Naruto. I smiled back as he stood up and grabbed our bag from the weapons store along with a few others which surprisingly were still here. I really hope Naruto knows how much I love him.

"You were there that night though, no?", I asked, taking another bite of food. Naruto nodded as he scrolled through the shows, looking for something to watch.

I distinctly recall him carrying me to my room and I was feeling him up, there's no way I'd get Naruto's muscles confused with anyone else. I just thought it was different because I was on his lap, but when he's carrying me, yeah no. I've memorized the way his muscles flexed when he picked me up, the way they moved when he walked, how they felt against me, how the felt in general when I'd hold onto him, there's no way I'd forget that.

"Wait, if it wasn't you, when did you get there? How did we end up in bed together?" He glanced at me with a smirk and I realized what I said. "Not like that."

"Not yet at least. You still gotta wait for that, Pretty," he tapped the remote against his lips.

"Naruto, answer the question," I huffed. "Please," I added on for good measure.

He finally decided on a show and put the remote down, leaning back against the headboard and looking at me. "I carried you to your room and we went to sleep after that, that's how we ended up in bed together."

"And when did you get there?"

He sighed, mumbling something along the lines of how I was so cruel. "I lost you at the party so I was looking around and couldn't find you. I decided to leave and ended up seeing you with him on my way out. I was going to leave but I remembered you have terrible decision making skills so I waited for you to be done and took you to the room."

He... waited for me to be done? Why would he do that?

"Why'd you wait...?" I asked, feeling a little defeated.

"Because I love you, obviously," he stated as if I asked him the stupidest question known to man.

Huh???
