In a bungalow, a man of mid 70s was pacing here and there, glancing the door time to time as he was waiting for someone. After few moments, the door opened revealing the person he was waiting from so long.

Man: Beta, aagaya? Tuhi jeeta na? Mera pota haar hi nahi sakta after all to tyachya aaivar gelay.
(After all he is like his mother)
Boy: Ho Nanu. I not only won Businessman of the Year award but also got the Youngest Businessman Award.
Nanu: Abhinandan Abhishek bala. I'm proud of you. I knew it. Now go, get fresh and take some rest. Ani ho, parva sandhyakali party aahe. Call your all friends.

Abhishek's eyes widened. He was not believing Aditya's words. With a wide smile and excitedly, he asked.

Abhi: Really Nanu?

Aditya smiled at his excitement and nodded in yes. Abhi hugged him tightly. He kissed Abhi's hairs caressing them. After few minutes, Abhi broke the hug and went to get fresh. He entered his room which was all decorated by himself of his choice. All furniture as well as walls were of Abhi's favorite color, royal blue. The walls held Abhi's pictures on it.

Abhi changed his clothes and opened a drawer of his study table. There was a photo frame and an album in it. He took the photo frame, closed the drawer and laid on the bed on his stomach and started staring the photo frame. Slowly, tears fell from his eyes. He caressed the pic and kissed it.

Abhi: I miss you, Ashu! Mujhe to ye bhi nahi pata ki tu kaha hai. Tumhe me yaad to hu na? Ya phir tum mujhe bhul gaye ho? Ashu, you know what, I won 2 awards today. Agar tum yaha hote to ye bolte ki, 'Abhu, I'm proud of you. Tumne mumma ka sapna pura kiya. Keep growing like this.' Ashu, I need you. Please jaldi mere paas aja. Mai aur nahi jee sakta tere biger. Aur nahi Nanu ke samne aur pretend kar sakta ki mai tumhe bhul chuka hu.

Abhi was interrupted by a knock. He knew it was his Nanu. He started panicking thinking what if his Nanu heard all of his talks.

Somewhere else
In a bungalow, a couple of mid 70s were pacing here and there, glancing the door time to time as they were waiting for someone. After few moments the door opened revealing the person, they were waiting from so long. That person hugged them tightly.

Man: Baccha, kya hua vaha? Kon jeeta? Tu jeeta kya?
Woman: Haa baccha, bolna.
Boy: Ha Dadu and Dadi, sab accha hua. Aur aapka pota India's Best Dr. ka award jeet gaya.
Couple: Really?
Dadi: Ye to bohot khushi ki baat hai. Mai abhi teri favourite kheer banati hu Sid beta. Tabtak tu fresh ho ja.
Sid: Nahi Dadi. Kheer aaj nahi kal banao. Vaha dinner ho gaya hai. Ab pet me aur jagah nahi.
Dadi: Ok baccha. You take rest.

Sid nodded and entered his room. Sid stared his room. He smiled softly seeing the picture placed on the wall behind the bed. He went there and caressed the faces of boys.

Imagine the bed color as blue.

👆Sid's Room

Sid: I miss you, Abhu! Mai tumhe bohot dhund raha hu. Kaha ho tum? Tum mujhe bhul to nahi gaye na? Please Bhagwanji, mai mere Abhu ko yaad rahu. I can't live without him. Abhu, you know what, I won India's Best Doctor Award today. Agar tum yaha hote to ye bolte ki, 'Ashu, tumne papa ka sapna pura kiya. Proud of you!' Aur phir mujhse gale lagte. Abhu, I need you. Please jaldi mere paas aaja. Mai aur nahi jee sakta tere biger. I promise Abhu, mai jaldhi tumhe dhund lunga. Aur phir hum dono ek saath rahenge. I'm waiting for that day. And I'm sure ki vo din jaldhi humari jindagime aayega.

Saying this, he went to get fresh. He changed his clothes and laid on his bed with closed eyes, dozing deep into sleep, unknown to the fact that someone has heard all of his talks with teary eyes.

At Abhi's side
Abhi again heard a knock. He quickly wiped his tears, hide the photo frame under his cushion and went to the door opening it. His Nanu entered inside and sat on the bed.

Abhi: Nanu, aap abhi tak jag kyu rahe ho? You should have slept.

Anxiety was clearly visible in his voice. Aditya still kept quiet.

Nanu: Bala, tu pan nahi jhoplas.
(You too didn't sleep.)
Anyways, I came here just to check if you slept or not. But you still awake. Now sleep well, ok? Are ha, tune medicines nahi li na? I knew it. Medicines leke hi sona varna mujhse bura koi nahi.

Abhi nodded hastily. Aditya kissed his forehead and left. Abhi heaved a sigh of relief.

Abhi: Bal bal bacch gaya. Chal beta Abhi, ab so ja. Kal office bhi toh jana hai. Good night, Ashu!

Saying this, he laid on the bed.

Abhi: Are, medicines to li hi nahi. Kya farak padta hai! Nahi, abhi Nanu ne kaha na li to unse bura koi nahi. Waisebhi unse bura koi ho bhi nahi sakta. Khair, ab to medicines leni hi padegi.

He woke up, took his medicines and again laid down. Sleep took over him in no time.

That's all for today!
928 words.
I tried to show parallel scenes taking place at both sides in this as well as previous chapter.

Aditya now speaks Hindi and sometimes Marathi due to Abhi and his surroundings. As Abhi's surroundings were filled with Hindi speaking people from childhood, he also speaks Hindi and therefore, Aditya also started speaking Hindi.

I know it's not that good but hope you all like it. And feel free to point out mistakes. If any changes are needed, do tell me. I'll surely mend them.

One more thing, due to some Wattpad glitches, I'm not able to comment on any of the story or reply on comments so please don't think I'm being rude and not commenting or replying.

Thanks!
