Reader-chan POV

London bridge is falling down...falling down...falling down...

I looked around, I was in some alley, and it was dark, a voice singing with the music playing from that man's music box.

"Who's there?!" I called out. Just then, that man stepped out from the beginning of the alley, singing once more.

London bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down, my fair lady...

My eyes fluttered open, I wasn't in the alley, I was in my room. I sat up and sighed, tucking my loose hair behind my ear. I haven't been able to get that song, or that man out of my head for some reason, and I get the feeling something is going to happen. I looked out the window and saw the sun barely rising. I got up from my bed and put on my uniform.

"Good morning Erwin, and Corporal Levi," I muttered to myself, when I put on my ring. I then heard a knock on my door. I opened it and was greeted by Sebastian.

"Good morning, (y/n)," he said. I smiled.

"Morning, Sebastian," I responded. He returned the smile, making my heart go into a frenzy.

"You do know it is the young master's birthday today?" he asked once we began walking towards the kitchen. I nodded.

"Yes, I do, but wasn't it on his birthday that..." I paused choosing my words carefully.

"Yes it was," responded Sebastian. I looked away, feeling truly sorry for Ciel. Everything was taken from him at such a young age, especially on his birthday.

"I take it his fiance will be here?" I asked, trying to change the subject.

"Unfortunately for us, yes she will be," I snickered, and looked down, avoiding his gaze.

"Oh she's not that bad, Sebastian," I said, looking up. Sebastian just raised his eyebrows and shook his head lightly.

"I beg to differ," he said, with a smile tugging on his lips.

Apparently, Lady Elizabeth did come to the manor but left less than five minutes later. Sebastian said she came while I fed the horses.

"(Y/N)!!! The young master is asking you go to his study!!" shouted Bard as he ran towards me.

"What for?" I asked.

"I'm not sure, he just asked for you," he replied. I nodded and thanked him, heading towards the study. Before I could knock on the door, Sebastian opened it for me and stepped aside, letting me walk in.

"What is it Ciel?" I asked as I approached his desk, where he was pacing in front of it.

"Elizabeth has gone missing," he said through gritted teeth. My eyes widened, but she was here not more than an hour ago.

"What are you going to do?"

"I'm heading towards the last place her maid saw her, and I want you to come along," he responded, looking into my eyes. I nodded.

"Not only that, but we're going to investigate a case that is most likely tied to Elizabeth's disappearance, since there are multiple girls around Elizabeth's age that have been missing," he added. Little girls have been missing? What for? Maybe...human trafficking? But for some reason, the face of that man with the music box came into mind.

"While Sebastian goes and makes a suspect list, you and I will attend to some other business, understood?"

"Yes...I understand."

Yet another time skip

"Paula said she lost Elizabeth here," said Ciel looking around the street, hearing dogs barking in the distance.

"But why did I have to bring him?!" he asked irritated, and pointed at Pluto. At least he wore clothes right?

"Well...Sebastian was probably paranoid?" I asked.

"Well either way..." he pulled out a ribbon that belonged to Elizabeth, and placed it in front of Pluto's nose. "You're a dog, so you should be able to track her down."

But Pluto just sniffed it and sneezed, scratching behind his ears...

"Oh you stupid little mongrel. Is Sebastian-" Ciel was interrupted when Pluto barked and pulled began to run, pulling Ciel along with him. I began to run after them. But he simply wanted to go to a female dog at the end of the street. Oh for pete's sake...

"Pluto!! Down!!" I said in a stern voice as Ciel had trouble pulling him back. Pluto simply froze and looked back at me. I narrowed my eyes at him. "NOW."

He whimpered and sat down, his head bowed.

"Oh man looking for a mate! Perhaps I can help," said a familiar voice. No way...

We looked up and saw Grell staring at the moon, his hair flying behind him as he stood on the building roof in front of us.

"I am a hunter of love. And at last my prey is before me. Red is the color of fiery passion. And I am flaming!!" he said. I wrinkled my nose in disgust and pulled out the blades at my sides. I looked at Ciel who had a shocked expression on his face.

"You again?!" said Ciel as Grell turned around and smiled at us, revealing his sharp teeth.

"A deadly efficient butler, that's me," he smirked. "Though I do find myself master-less at the moment," he continued, flipping his...her? Red hair behind his shoulder. He jumped off the building and landed in front of us.

"No need to be defensive," he scowled at me, and looked down at the swords.

"Anyway, I was temporarily demoted after the Madam Red incident. So now I can only collect trouble-some souls until I get my old post back," said Grell.

"And who is this wild one? He's a cutie," said Grell, pointing at Pluto. Ciel just scowled at him.

"Now, now, you're not considering avenging your aunt are you?"

"Shut up!"

"I don't see Bassy any where, what a brat like you and a wench like her do to me?" oh that's it. Before I could approach him, Pluto began growling at him.

"Oh is this your protector for the evening? Why does this kid get all the good looking men?" he mumbled the last part. Ciel let go of Pluto, who began running towards Grell.

"Oh he's coming towards me!! I'm all your but please be gentle!!" said Grell, opening his arms wide. Buuut...Pluto ran past him and Ciel and I ran after him. Ciel was slowing down though, and Pluto was getting out of sight. I sighed and grabbed Ciel, placing him behind my back (piggy back ride :)) and speeding towards the man dog (reader-chan is strong and fast!!) and eventually catching up to him. While I heard Grell running behind me.

Pluto led us to a...toy store? But what I saw through the window shocked us. It was a doll...that looked exactly like Elizabeth.

"Lizzy," muttered Ciel once I placed him back on the floor.

"Well what do we have here? Number 493 on the to-die-list. Butler and puppeteer to the house of Mandalay...Drossel Keinz," grinned Grell while closing a book he had on his hands.

Then we heard glass break and Pluto growl and bark. We turned around and saw a window broken. I looked at Ciel who nodded. I rushed towards the door and kicked it down, running in with swords ready to attack. Pluto was munching the Elizabeth doll.

"Pluto! Here, boy!" I called. He turned around and handed me the doll. I then gave it to Ciel, who's eyes widened.

"Ciel, look!" I pointed at the open door.

"Let's go!"

We ran towards it, and it led us outside, where we saw a large manor that was surrounded by leafless trees.

"Goodness. Not exactly the best welcoming place, now is it?" said Grell behind us. Ugh I thought he was gone by now, but we might find some use for him.

"Grell you can come with us and help me protect Ciel," I said. Grell looked at me incredulously and Ciel smirked, knowing where I was going with this. "And you can have Sebastian for a day and you can do whatever you want with him," I said, smiling and not feeling one bit sorry for Sebastian.

"Hmm having Bassy for a whole day and do whatever I want with him?" he thought and smiled. "Even kissing?" He looked at me hopefully. Uh...

"If that's what you want," I shrugged, smiling.

"Does that mean I can use tongue?" he gripped my shoulders and I moved my head away from his.

"What part of 'whatever you want' do you not get?"

"OH MY!!! YES!!!" he jumped up and down. I looked at Ciel who simply smirked at me. "That's an offer I can't refuse!!!"

Grell opened the doors and we stepped in. "Alright here we go!!"

But all we saw was a little girl standing in the middle of the room. We approached her and Grell pointed at the ring on her finger.

"Hey isn't that ring like yours?" he asked.

But then her eyes moved towards Ciel and her hand latched onto his throat. I lifted my foot and kicked her in the face, making her fly backwards.

"I will cut her into pieces!!" shouted Grell and took out some scissors.

"Grell wait!!" I shouted.

"She isn't actually a doll!!" said Ciel. But he advanced anyway and but her neck. I expected blood to spill out from her throat but sand spilled instead.

"Maybe she was a doll after all," I muttered as Ciel took off her ring. Just then I heard a door behind us open and that man with the music box walked out.

"You!!" I shouted and got into a fighting stance.

"What a useless doll," he said in monotone.

"So then I thought to myself, in order to succeed I must make them considerably stronger than this...Build it up with iron and steel, iron and steel, iron and steel. Build it up with iron and steel, my fair lady," he sang as more dolls walked out. Jeez this guy was pissing me off.

"I won't let anyone take my day with my sweet bassy!!" said Grell as he advanced towards the dolls.

"Grell wait!!"

But when he tried to cut them he recoiled as if he were electrocuted.
"You and pluto stay here and distract them, while (y/n) and I take care of Drossel. Let's go (y/n)!" I nodded and ran up the stairs first. I came across some doors and I opened them, to reveal a small ballroom.

"Ciel Phantomhive and (f/n) (l/n) you're both beautiful specimen...especially you," said Drossel, pointing at me from the balcony in the ballroom. "I'll have to make you into a doll worthy of such exquisite beauty." What was so special about me? Maybe...he knows what I am? I thought.

"What have you done with Elizabeth?" asked Ciel.

"Now what material can I use for you? Clay will wash away too easily. But iron is far too crude for you. So then I thought to myself...build it up with silver and gold...silver and gold...silver and gold." I grabbed Ciel's arm as he began to sing once more, and led him up more stairs.

"Build it up with silver and gold, my fair lady," he continued in an echo around the room.

I was desperate to get out here, away from that room and the voice. The space was closing in fast. I was gasping in and out, desperate for air. I saw doors ahead of us, when we reached them I kicked them open and pulled Ciel inside, closing the door, with my back placed against it. I breathed in and out slowly, trying to ignore my claustrophobic moment from a few seconds ago. I heard Ciel gasp beside me. I looked at him and saw him staring at the symbol on the center of the floor with wide eyes. If only I could know what he was thinking, I thought.

"Truly master, nothing good ever happens on your birthday, does it?" I heard a voice in front of us, from the open window. I took out my swords again, ready to attack.

"You lost your parents, your home, and this time you stand to lose Lady Elizabeth," said that voice. My eyes widened a bit when the curtain in front of the window moved to reveal Sebastian sitting there.

"Sebastian" I whispered.
