"Caylie? Caleb? Can you guys hear me?" I asked closing my eyes. "How are you doing this?" Caleb asked. "Yeah, I can hear you," Caylie said. "Listen, there are 2 guys after you guys," I stated quickly. "No, Cal they already found us!" Caylie frantically yelled.

"Caylie, who are these men and why are they looking for you?" I asked through the mind link. I could tell they wanted to tell me something by their brainwaves.

Caleb sighed "because they are after meta-humans," Cal explained, "we have powers." Trevor looked at me with wide eyes. "This is bad!" I yelled panicking. "Why, what happened?" Caylie questioned with panic evident in her voice. "We used our powers- well I used my powers- to escape from them," I explained walking over to the left well. I leaned on the wall and slide down.

"Where are you guys?" Cal's voice came through the link. "Hiding in the bathroom by our room," I replied. Trevor looked at me and I knew what he was trying to say. "Um, they are heading towards us," I told them looking at Trevor with the same expression.

A few seconds later there was a knock on the door. "Open the door!" Said one of the men from before. "I know you're in there. Get out of the damn bathroom." The other said banging on the door. Trevor and I didn't move a muscle.

"They are at the door right now!" I yelled hugging baby. I looked down at baby and noticed he was crying. "Baby, we are going to be ok," I whispered in his ear wiping his tears away with my hand. "Dammit, open the damn door." One man said banging on the door again.

"Can I help you two?" Ms. Jess asked from the other side of the door. "Yes, you can ma'am. You see two of the kids that we want to adopt are in here and won't come out," the other man answered in an innocent voice. "Well, they are scared to come out," Ms. Jess told the two men. How did she know we were scared?

"I think Caylie and Caleb coming," Trevor stated breaking the silence in the bathroom. "Are you coming to get us?" I asked listening for footsteps. "Yeah" Came Cal's reply. "They are down the hall and are running," Trevor told me squeezing my right hand. "Are you the hall and running?" I asked looking at Trevor. "Yes, how did you know?" Caylie asked panting a little bit. "Trevor has super hearing as well as super speed," I explained giving Trevor a kiss on the head.

"You should wait- hey there Caleb, Caylie what can I help you with?" Ms. Jess asked when the twins arrived. "You can start with getting these two out of here!" Caylie told Ms. Jess. "Why hello Caylie and Caleb. Ma'am I would like to adopt these two as well." One man told Ms. Jess. I finally had enough of them and I snapped.

I opened the door with baby in my arms. "You are not adopting Caylie, Cal, baby, or me!" I screamed at them. Trevor looked up at me with tears in his eyes. "Bre, you do really have a say in who adopts you." Ms. Jess said sadly. "I do when they want to hurt us or my friends." I turned to her with tears in my eyes.

"What do you mean?" The man with brown eyes asked trying to look innocent. "You pushed me to the ground and held us there with your foot," I replied angrily. Ms. Jess looked at Trevor and me then at the two men. "Bre, what are you talking about?" Ms. Jess asked back at me. "Ms. Jessica, they would hurt us if they adopted us," I started "They're after Cal, Caylie, and I," I looked down at the floor. "Why would they hurt you?" She asked in a soft tone. "They hunt Metahumans," I told her in a small voice.
