love you

Aly's Apartment
"Min Yoongi. My sweet, sweet boyfriend Min Yoongi of Daegu, I present to you, probably the best food you've ever eaten in your entire life!" Aly exclaims, placing the food next to the two bowls of rice Yoongi had gotten for them.
Since the two weren't much into public places, they typically stayed home during their dates, which had its ups and downs.
Aly had to cook everything, considering that they both didn't want to get food poisoning anytime soon, by letting Yoongi cook.
However, it was always after dinner the two looked forward to the most.
Cuddling on the couch, watching various tv shows, movies, and sometimes Yoongi would sing softly in her ear.
Yes. Yoongi.
Singing.
Hard to believe, it had even shocked Aly.
But ultimately, she loved his voice. It was so,
peaceful.
"Hard to believe that since I practically grew up with Jin's cooking." Yoongi says, sitting down for the food.
She was right however. Yoongi loved the meal.
But why would he ever expose himself like that?
Dinner passed by quickly, leaving the two to go and cuddle on the couch, as their Saturday nights typically went.
Yet, the TV was off and no music was playing.
Yoongi and Aly found themselves in conversation.
Deep conversation,
"Your mom." Yoongi starts, and Aly can already tell what he wants to know. "She sounds amazing."
"She really was." Aly explains, sighing. She thinks back to the happiest memories she had with her mother.
"You don't have to tell me Aly, I don't mean to pry, but did something happen to your mother?"
Aly smiles sadly and turns to Yoongi. She sighs again. "It was more like something happened to her character."
Yoongi nods, and she continues.
"My mom, was an amazing person. All of her friends told me she was the kindest, the bravest and the most generous person they had ever met. I even remember it. When I was younger, I loved my mom. And I still do. Our relationship is just, complicated."
"I was never sure of when it had started. I think it simply just went too fast for me to even realize, especially since I was so young. But she started changing. She acted differently towards me, colder towards me. I always assumed she was simply in a bad mood, until she started arguing with my dad a lot."
"I wasn't even sure what they argued about either. I never understood. But they both changed I think. They both changed themselves. They ignored me more. Didn't pay attention to me, and simply forgot about me as a daughter, so much that even when I mentioned moving out, my dad simply gave me the hotel room. And it's been like that ever since. They call once and a while, to see how I'm doing. But that's really it."
"Wow. Aly, I had no idea. I'm sorry." Yoongi says, holding Aly's hand. She smiles at him, and shakes her head.
"Don't be, you didn't do anything."
"So what about you Mr. Grumpy. What about your parents? Your family?"
"Well I guess for me, there isn't much to say." Yoongi starts off, moving around on the couch to get more comfortable. "My mom wasn't very mother like, but I really blame it on the amount of work she always had. She was always loving, she was just too busy to really ever look after my brother and I."
"You have a brother?" Aly gasps.
"I do. He's older than me however, so I rarely ever see him. I'll introduce you one day, he'd love you." Yoongi says. "As for my father. He was never in the house. And as much as that had bothered me, I understood it was for the family. But things didn't really start to get rocky until I was asked about my future."
Yoongi had always wanted to be a song writer, maybe even a producer one day, but his parents, especially his mother, hadn't approved.
"They love me, more than anything, but I knew that I wanted to become a song writer, so I had to leave. And I think that somewhere in their mind, they knew it was what I wanted, even if the didn't say it out loud, and helped me move here."
"They sound like amazing people:" Aly says quietly, playing with Yoongi's fingers.
"They are. We just don't always see eye to eye, you know?"
The next few moments were quiet again, and Yoongi couldn't tell whether the silence bothered Aly or not. As for him, he loved it. Simply sitting in silence, just enjoying each other's company.
It was as if Yoongi had finally,
He had really found-
"Hey Yoongi?" Aly says. Her eyes are a bit shaky, as if she was about to cry. "I love you." She hugs Yoongi and snuggles in closer to him.
"I love you too sweetheart."
