New Home? Kinda scary!

Sasuke silently led me into the Uchiha Compound, to his home. I took note that there was nobody around and there was dried blood on most of the walls. All in all, it was pretty scary. I gripped my backpack tightly and continued to look around.

"Sasuke-San?" I said quietly and he barely glanced at me.

"What?" he said finally, I was guessing that he thought I'd continue without him prompting me to. I was taught my manners back at the Dome. Only because I would have been slapped if I talked without permission.

"What happened here?" I asked and looked to him. We were eye to eye in height, but I was way skinnier- I was starved for days at a time back at my old home. Sasuke looked down and a frown rested on his lips. "If it's personal, I don't have to know." I added quickly, fearing that I'd get hit by him.

"It's fine. My clan was killed by my brother." he growled and my eyes widened.

"I'm very sorry to hear that. I was told my clan was killed also, but I'm not 100% sure. Where I lived, I was constantly lied to." I comforted him and he looked up at me for a moment before grunting and looking ahead of himself.

"How can you not know about your own clan?" he asked with the same frown as before. I sighed.

"Because they abandoned me, fearing my eyes. And I never heard of them again." I answered carefully picking out my  words. I didn't want him to get angry, because I didn't know about my clan. But I wasn't sure if I should really care about my clan- they were the ones who abandoned me, not the other way around.

"Hn." he said and stopped in front of the biggest house on the street. "We're here." and he took me inside. It looked huge compared to my old dorm. A spacious living room and kitchen was what we first walked into. In the kitchen there was a small oak dining table, with four chairs. Set on the table was a vase that contained two dead red roses. Everything else in the kitchen was white- nothing was dirty either. The living room had bamboo wood floors, and a black leather couch against a wall. An oak coffee table was in front of the couch and to the left side of the couch was a round oak end table with a nice little lamp. Sasuke must REALLY like oak.

"Don't just stand there. Unless if you want to figure out where you'd be staying by yourself." Sasuke said impatiently and I hurried to Sasuke, who was waiting by a long hallway. He pointed out to a bathroom, a little hall closet, and his room. "You're not allowed to go in my room unless I give you permission, which will be never." he said while pointing to his bedroom. We walked to the end of the hallway and two doors were on each side of the hall. Most likely his parents room and brother. He pointed to the right and looked at me.

"Don't go in there either. Never, no matter what." he said sternly and opened the other door. "Your room." he added and gestured me to go inside, which I quickly did. It was very plain, with only two pieces of furniture; a bed with a black blanket and a small oak dresser in the corner of the room. The walls were a dark yet vibrant blue with a crest of some sort covering the whole ceiling. I looked at Sasuke with a thankful smile.

"Thank you, Sasuke-san." I thanked and put my bag on the bed. I casped my hands together and thought of what to do while Sasuke just kept on watching me, leaning on the doorframe. Well, I should probably help Sasuke pay rent, so I should get money somehow. I frowned and thought of what I could do.

"What?" Sasuke said finally, breaking the silence. I looked at him confused. "You keep frowning at nothing." he explained and frowned himself.

"Oh. I'm just thinking on ways to earn money." I told him and he smirked.

"Missions of course." he replied smartly. "Why?"

"So I can help pay rent, and to have some extra money. Would you like to join me in some missions Sasuke-san?" I asked with a smile. Sasuke smirked.

"The Hokage pays my rent you dobe. But sure, I might as well." I frowned at his word choice. What does 'Dobe' mean? It  sounds means but who knows? Sasuke knows, of course. I'll ask Naruto-san tomorrow or when I next see him without Sasuke-san.

Sasuke got us a whole days worth of things to do from the Hokage. Pulling weeds, finding lost animals, picking potatos, and other things that fitted in that category. It was hard, but we were well paid. When we were pulling weeds, a plant cut my hand really bad so I had to wrap my hand up in bandages. We quit after that job because Sasuke claimed that I complained too much- I only said my hand hurt once! But now we had extra spending money to do as we please.

We were walking down the streets of Konoha, I was still trying to memorize how to get around in this maze of a village. I tapped on Sasukes shoulder when we passed a shop that had really good smelling food. Sasuke stopped and turned around to face me.

"What?" he asked annoyed.

"What's in there?" I asked, pointing my index finger at the shop.

"Ramen. Don't tell me you've never had ramen before." he kind of stated the question so all I did was twiddle my fingers (like what Hinata does all of the time).

"Like what Naruto-san said he likes?" he rolled his eyes and nodded like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Wow. You really haven't had ramen before." he finally said after a moment and I looked to my feet.

"No, sorry. They didn't serve that kind of food where I last lived." I explained with a frown. They just gave us mush, I almost added. Sasuke grunted ansd just walked into the shop. I read the sign above it. 'Ichiraku Ramen'. Naruto-San was there slurping up some noodles with sauce. It smelt really good.

I sat next to Naruto and Sasuke sat next to me.

"Hello Naruto-San!" I greeted and he jumped but looked at me, a noodle still in his mouth. Such bad table manners.

"Oh! Hello Aerith-chan!" he grinned and went back to eating. A man in a chefs outfit smiled at me but when I looked up at him he pursed his lips, eyes widening. I frowned, not knowing what's wrong. Did I have something on my face?

"Can I get you two anything?" he said, adverting his eyes to look at Sasuke instead of me.

"Miso Ramen." Sasuke told him clearly so his order wouldn't get messed up. The chef glanced at me for a moment and his hand trembled.

"And for you?" he asked finally, fumbling over his words.

"Uh, I'll just have what Naruto-San is having." I said with a happy grin on my face. I hoped that if I smiled, then he would overcome his fear for whatever was wrong with me.

Your eyes.

"That was so delicious Sasuke-San!" I exclaimed while patting my belly. He grunted in response and we continued to walk home. As we got to the gates of the Uchiha Compound I heard a bush rustle, and I paused to look. I saw a speck of pink on top of the bushes. Sasuke was still walking home, figuring I could handle myself, which I could. I suspected it to be a girl that we all know.

"Sakura-Chan, what are you doing all the way out here?" I whispered in a hushed voice and I heard a yelp. Slowly but surely, Sakura stood up and glared at me.

"What are you here?!" she snapped and I smiled.

"Because I now live with Sasuke-San." I informed and her eyes widened in shock.

"What?! How could you do this to me!?" she yelled angerily.

"I didn't want to live with him either at first, but Kakashi-sensei lives in a one-bedroom." he eyes narrowed.

"What do you mean 'at first'?" she growled and I scratched the back of my neck.

"Well he's really kind to me, and gave me my personal space. He also took me to ramen earlier." then I held up my finger. "Sakura-chan? What does dobe mean?" I asked quietly and she didn't smile or anything.

"It means loser." she said through her teeth. Well that is rude that Sasuke called me a loser. Then Sakura poked me in the chest and glared at me.

"You stay away from my Sasuke-kun! Or you're dead meat!" she said in a look of disgust. I took a step back, not knowing what to do, but Sakura took it as a sign of defeat. She must've felt superior, at least for a moment. But I felt something inside me snap and my eyes flared white. I got back in her face like she was in mine only moments ago and glared right back at her.

"Sakura. You really don't want to get on my bad side, I could kill you if you push it too far. I suggest you leave. And by the looks of it, Sasuke-San doesn't want you on his space either." I growled fiercely. I knew how to get people to back off, I've been doing it all of my life to advoid unnecessary fights. It seemed to work and she quickly backed away.

"Uh, I'm going to go now." she stuttered and ran off, leaving a trail of dust in her path. I started giggling for no good reason and turned around, only to run into Sasuke. I fell on my butt, and he just crossed his arms with a smirk resting on his lips.

"You told her off. Nice." he said in his I'm-so-cool voice. "And your dumb for not knowing what a dobe is." he added, his smirk getting wider. I groaned, knowing that he heard me ask Sakura what it meant.

"Oh you shush, I never heard the word in my life until you said it." he frowned.

"I guess it's just because I'm awesome like that." his smirk grew even larger. He held out his hand for me to take, and I took it while smiling. But me being clumsy and Sasuke pulling me up too hard I fell into his arms. I blushed and tryed to pull away but Sasuke didn't let go of me, just tightened his grip and pulled me into a hug.

"Sasu-" he cut me off.

"Shut up, I want to enjoy this moment." he whispered and I frowned, but slowly wrapped my arms around him and set my head in the crook of his neck. I just met him today and he's affectionly hugging me? Or is it a friendly hug that had lated too long? Was he like this to everyone? It doesn't seem like he's a huggy person.

I don't know, but I think I like it.
