A Date with the Uchiha? Sakura hates me.
Thank Rainy-Round for the update to be two days early!

I looked up at the ceiling from my bed. I couldn't sleep and now it was three in the morning. I sighed and got out of bed. I turned on my light and decided to go out and build a table to work on my paths. I opened my window with a kunai in my mouth, and jumped out. I walked into the forest, looking for an oak tree because Sasuke liked oak. I thought that if I made something that he liked that he'd allow it on the side of the house. It was dark and I could barely see in front of me, but I continued wishing I would have brought a light of some sort.
I finally came across a tall oak that seemed to already been chopped on. Maybe Sasuke made his own furniture? I shrugged at the thought and got to work, sawing down chunks of wood that was big enough for a table with my kunai.
It was starting to get a little light by the time I was done cutting and dragging the pieces back to the house. I used my kunai to shape out table legs and made sure that they were all the same length. I heard a door slide open and footsteps coming toward me. I didn't turn to look, because I already knew who it was.
"What are you doing? You should be sleeping." Sasukes half asleep voice said, breaking the comfortable silence. I smiled to myself. Did he really care?
"I couldn't sleep. I decided to build a work table." I replied and I felt Sasuke sit next to me.
"You didn't sleep all night?" he asked quietly.
"No."
"You could have woken me up you know." he whispered and got up again. I then looked up at him. His expression was filled with concern and another look that I couldn't quite decifer.
"I know, but I didn't want to disturb you." I replied with a sweet smile. He looked away and frowned.
"I'm going to make breakfast. Hopefully you don't mind eggs." and with that he trudged back inside. I sighed and turned back to the table leg I was carving on. I grinned and carved a small heart in the corner. Sasuke was the first person to really care other than Kakashi. But he was my newly aquired brother so he didn't count. Next to the heart I carved Sasukes name in small but noticable print.
I finished shaping the wood and I put the pieces in the sunlight to dry out for the next few days. I went back into the house and washed my hands really good in the kitchen sink. A smell that I've never smelt before was thick in the air. Sasuke was just cracking a white ball and yellow goo went into a pan. I watched how he cooked the food closely so I could do it myself another day. He cracked two more balls and waited for a few moments.
"Are you enjoying yourself?" Sasuke teased and I glanced at him.
"I am just watching, does it bother you?" I stated simply and looked back at the egg.
"No, not at all." Sasuke quickly ushered and I felt the corner of my lips turn upwards slightly. He flipped the eggs and sprinkled some spices on them while they were in midair. I looked at him amazed and he smirked at me, noticing the look on my face. I got to give him that he was a really great cook.
"Berakfast is served." he said, handing me a plate with a piece of toast and an egg. For what the egg looked like, I expected a totally different taste. I was shocked when I put the bite in my mouth after we sat down at the table. Sasuke was looking to see my reaction.
"It's... so... GOOD!" I grinned after I swallowed my bite. Sasuke smiled slightly and began eating his own food.
Towards the end Sasuke was just pushing his food from side to side, deep in thought. I finished a while ago but I decided to wait until Sasuke was done too so I could was both of our dishes at the same time.
"What's up Sasuke-san?" I asked and his eyes flicked up to mine.
"Would you like to do something with me today? It's our day off today..." he trailed off with hopeful eyes.
"Like a, uh, date?" I asked unsure. He rolled his eyes.
"I guess." he said and looked away. "You don't have to." I held my hands up fast.
"I never said I didn't. Sure, I'll go on a date with you." He looked back at me with a smile and a glint in his eyes.
I went to the door and looked back to Sasuke.
"I'm going to go visit Kakashi for a while, be back in a little bit." it looked like Sasuke was silently panicing and I smiled. "Don't worry, I'll be back for our little date." I reasured and he seemed to calm back down. The main reason why I was going to Kakashi's was to get him to take me clothes shopping. All I had was my clothes that I came with, and they didn't look very date worthy.
"Don't forget." Sasuke reminded and I smiled slightly while closing the door behind me. I jogged out of the Uchiha Compound and into the streets of Konoha. I had no idea where Kakashi lived so I went to the Hokage building and to the information desk. It was a lady with brown hair up in a large messy bun.
I cleared my throat and she looked up at me curiously. She frowned at me and looked back down, taking a deep breath.
"May I help you?" she asked lowly and I shook my head in disapointment. Everybody treated me like this.
"I need to know where Hakate Kakashi currently lives." I replied, trying to get on her good side. She looked through some papers and handed me a picture of one of the apartment buildings that I passed on the way here.
"Room twelve." and she shooed me away.
I stopped in front of his door and politely knocked.
"Kakashi-san? It's me, Aerith Satsukia." I yelled out. No response.
"It's your sister?" No response.
"The one with the rinnegan?" i tried. No response yet again. I sighed and opened the unlocked door. Kakashi was sprawled across the couch asleep. I anime fell. It was already noon, and he still hasn't gotten up?! Maybe it was an early nap?
I shook him slightly.
"AYUUU-CHAN~!" He moaned and my eyes widened. He was having a dirty dream!! I ran out of the apartment, closing the door behind me. I sprinted all the way out and groaned. What was I going to do now? I had no other companions except for Sasuke.
Naruto.
I sped down to the ramen shop, hoping that 'd be there. Surprise surprise. He was.
"Naruto!!" I yelled happily. He almost choked on the ramen he was eating. He looked up to me and smiled. "I have a mission for the two of us. Nobody can know, especially Sasuke-san." I explained and he jumped for joy.
"A mission?! Can't tell Sasuke-teme?! I'm in!" he yelled loudly, getting numorous stares.
After Naruto paid for his food we were walking back to Kakashi's place.
"What's the mission??" he asked excitedly and I sushed him.
"We're waking up Kakashi-sensei and getting some money from him and then going clothes shopping for me!" I smiled while he anime fell.
"That's not even a mission!" he screamed while throwing his hands in the air, but he kept on walking. "Why can't we tell Sasuke-teme?" he asked and I smiled.
"He asked me on a date-" I was cut off by a piercing scream, and it wasn't Naruto's. I whipped my head around to see Sakura in a pink summer dress, crying in despair. She glared at me through her teary eyes. Naruto immediatly ran to her and helped her up, wiping her tears away. I scowled. So much for a secret.
"Aerith! I hate you!" Sakura yelled and pushed Naruto away with great force. She spun on her heel and ran down the road. Naruto ran after her and called her name over and over.
"What was that for?" I heard a deep bored voice from behind me.
"We were just about to get you, but I got interupted by Sakura, as you can see." Kakashi stepped in front of me and wiped away a tear that I hadn't noticed fall.
"Don't cry." he said and sighed. "What made her say that?" he asked.
"Because she evesdropped." I stated simply and Kakashi sweatdropped.
"And what did you say to make her so hostile?" he prompted me to continue.
"I told Naruto that Sasuke asked me out on a date." I said, looking to the side. This was awkward, and bothersome. Kakashi sighed.
"That girl is obsessed with him, I swear." he muttered under his breath. "Well, what did you want me for?" he asked, changing the subject. I was happy that he changed the subject and grinned.
"Can we go clothes shopping??" I asked, hopping up and down with a pout. Kakashi chuckled and ruffled my white hair.
"Sure."
We went into a nice-looking girls clothes shop and I went straight to the desk person, Kakashi at my tail.
"Do you have any clothes that has the Satsukia clan symbol?" I asked politly and she nodded, pointing to a corner. Kakashi and I walked to that section and I pulled out a nice white kimono with the clan symbol printed on the back, also red sakura pedals going up the arms. Our symbol is two black arrows pointing at each other. In between the arrows is a black circle, connecting the two arrows. I liked the symbol a lot, but I don't like the clan.
I tried on the kimono and decided to buy it along with a pair of plain white ninja pants, a white shirt that was easy to move around in, and a new pair of black ninja sandals. Kakashi frowned at the ending price but fessed up the yen. I was planning on wearing the kimono later tonight.
"Onii-san?" I asked while we were walking back to his place. He glanced at me for a moment.
"What?"
"Do you think Sakura really meant that she hates me?" I asked solemly. He sighed and stuffed his hands in his pockets.
"Most likely not, she was probably just frustrated about Sasuke and didn't know what to do about it." he informed and we stepped in his apartment. I didn't want Sakura to dislike me, let alone hate me.
I guess going on that date with Sasuke is good and bad. I hope it unfolds and gets better.
