Rainbows POV

I was on the playground, but I had finally gotten the soccer ball, I was kicking it around, when someone stopped it.

"Hey little girl, leave the soccer to the big boys" He said

I raised an eyebrow crossing my arms, "really"

"What you can't play" He said

"Try me" I said

"Oh really, you're going down" He said

"And what if I don't and you go down" I said

"I will win" He said

"Well well" I said

"What do you want, a one on one match" He said sarcastically

"Sure, just get ready to lose" I said

"I'll go easy on you...You're still gonna be the one to lose" He said,

"Well are you ready or not" I said

"Let's go" He said

We went to the smallish soccer field. His friend put it in the middle and it started.

I had the ball and went around him immediately scoring. I turned he looked shocked.

"I let let do that" He said

"Ya right," I said and used my foot to pick up and bounce the ball on my foot, then kicked it at him.

He caught it, "redo"

"Alright" I said,

We did it again and I still got a goal. Goal after goal. Some kids and teachers even came to watch but I didn't notice. He got 1 goal cause he cheated. So it was 10-0.

He was tired out while I was holding the ball.

"Not so little now" I said

"FINE! you win" He yelled leaving.

I then kicked the ball into the other goal across the field.

I looked around and saw people...

The students crowded around me asking me stuff like, "How'd you do that!" "You're awesome at soccer" "Try out for the team!" "How did you beat the soccer coaches son!"

"Wait that was his son" I asked

They all started saying "yes" In different ways.

The teachers broke it up and said recess was over. We all went inside.

When we got picked up Mr.Sky asked us "what happened today ".

Blitz shrugged

Cloud said "diamond tiara and silver spoon tried to throw paper at me and sonic". I rubbed her hand.

" What about you dashie " He said

"Um... Nothing big... Just beat the soccer Coach's son in a game of soccer" I said

"What! What was the score" Blitz asked

"Um... 10-0" I said

"Wait you beat him 10 times" Blitz said

"Well he cheated one cause he carried the ball so 9 but I got the point" I said

"High Five" He said

I gave him one

The next week Mrs.Ingemi gave me a note from the soccer coach and team.

I read it at my seat, they wanted me to try out. I was so happy almost happy as pinkie is. I almost screamed!

"Rainbow why are ya do excited" Applejack asked

"I'm going to try out for the soccer team" I said

"You were amazing darling" Rarity said

"Thanks" I said

"I think this is the first time we've seen you excited" Twilight said "or talking this much"

I nodded, "ya I'm not much of talking except for when I want to be"

I told the grown ups at home and they said I could try out.

I tried out, there was only one other girl trying out for our age group. Her name was spitfire.

She was really good, like really REALLY good. There were other people, like soarin, Wave, and lightning streak, he has the same first name as my dad so I was a little scared at first when they said his name.

I crushed the try outs and they were going to announce who got in and who didn't

We were doing math when the announcements came on.

"We're going to announce who is on the soccer team" Mrs.Ginny said, "in 3rd grade we got, Spit Fire, Soarin Skies, Wave Chill, and Rainbow Dash"

My table gave me high Fives,

"Knew you were going to get in" Pinkie said
