Just FYI this is after cloud got better

Rainbows POV

I was trying to get cloud too sleep, so I sang her our lullaby.

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar

Just thinkin' about

When I'm stuck with a day

By the time I stopped she was asleep. I layed her down and went to my bed and fell asleep.

I suddenly heard a Loud bang it sounded like thunder! I saw lightning strike, suddenly cloud woke up in a fit of tears, I rushed to her, and picked her up. I tried to turn on the little light but it didn't turn on?

Cloud wailed, I grabbed her penguin and she calmed down.

"Baby can I put you down so I can get my flashlight from my backpack" I asked her.

She nodded

I placed her on my bed and looked  in my bag, I felt around finding two plastic things, one a long stick the other a headband with a plastic square. I pulled them out.

I turned my light blue flashlight on, and got the headlight I put on cloud.

I turned the light on low, "here cloud" I put it on her head.

She was a little shaky from the thunder. She reached for me, I picked her up, she was shaking a bit, and I could tell she was terrified of what was going on outside.

"Cloud it's going to be ok" I said.

Suddenly a loud bang if thunder was heard. Cloud started wailing.

I held her close, I'll feel bad if I have too wake up the adults.

Cloud was crying as the thunder roared and the lightning striked.

Mr.Sky came in. "Is she ok!" He asked coming over too us

"She's freaked out by the storm" I said and turned off her headlight.

"The power went out" He said,

I nodded

"How about we go downstairs," He said

I nodded, cloud nodded as well

We went downstairs, "just sit on the couch" He said and went to get something

I sat on the couch with cloud.

Mr.Sky came back with 3 blankets and some sort of light, he put it on the coffee table. "Ready girls"

We nodded

He pressed a button and a rainbow of stars projected onto the ceiling.

"C'mere you two" He said. We went over too him! He picked cloud up putting her on one arm, "lay down dashie" He said, they had a L shaped couch do he was on the part that was the bottom of the L.

I layed down resting my head on him.  Cloud was in his arm. He wrapped his other arm around me.

"You girls are safe" He said

"I'm scared" Cloud said

"What's that lullaby you sing dash" He asked me

"Tomorrow" I said getting relaxed

"How about this" He said and sang.

I smiled, "want me too keep going" he asked me and cloud, we nodded. Get continued

I heard a soft snore I'm guessing it was cloud. I started to fall asleep.

"Night my girls" He said in a whisper.

"Night... Daddy..." I heard cloud say

I smiled at that, as I was almost asleep I whispered, "night Daddy"

He lightly kissed my forehead and I feel asleep.
