Blitz POV

We were in the car heading home from the store, I had my arms around rainbow, she was sleeping, cloud was mumbling to her self playing with her penguin.

I heard the adults talking about something.

Suddenly cloud said, "there's a car in front of us,"

"It's coming towards us!" Mr.Sky yelled and I felt hin slam on the breaks.

Cloud had her head down and I covered mine and dashie's heads.

I heard a crash and a bang and everything went dark.

I opened my eyes I was still holding onto rainbow, I heard crying, I looked up and saw cloud crying. I looked around to see everyone else was out like a light. I unbuckled myself, and dashie, I pulled her onto my lap and unbuckled cloud.

I slowly opened the door on her side, it was closer to the side of the road. "It's going to be alright cloud," I said, I got out and picked dashie up and layed her down on the grass. I then got cloud and her penguin out. Dashie started to wake up. Cloud was crying but not as hard.

Dashie opened her eyes "what happened"

"It's gonna be ok" I said to her

She sat up and saw cloud crying, she immediately pulled her onto her lap, and started to calm her down.

A few people came out of there houses, we were in a neighborhood area. A few people were holding kids, others were in pajamas, we were in front of a house when a teenager and his mom came over.

"Are you ok" The mom asked us

I nodded.

"I'm calling 911" Said the teen on his phone

"Are your parents in there" She asked

"Our foster parents are still unconscious" I said.

"Alright," She said.

"There on there way" The teen said.

"Thank heavens" The mother said

I felt my heart racing, I looked at my sisters, cloud was close to tears again.

I heard sirens and then saw cop cars and ambulances come around the corner. They stopped at the cars and got out, 2 police officers and a few EMTs came over to us, I heard them working on the car trying to get the door unstuck.

"Hi" One of the officer said, the other had been looking at something, then looked up. It was strike!

"Hi kids" He said kneeling next to us, "what happened?" Strike asked

"Um... We were coming home from Walmart when a car started driving towards us, cloud had curled up into a ball and I shielded myself and dashie who had been sleeping" I explained

"Alright" The other officer said joting stuff down.

"Let's get you fixed up" Strike said

"Ok" I said

The EMTs got us into an ambulance, dashie couldn't walk, and cloud said that her arm hurt. Cloud wouldn't let dashie go, I picked her up and we went in, they had to put dashie on the stretcher, she was banged up the most me and cloud got in, and they drove off.

We got to the hospital and they put dashie in a wheelchair, me and cloud got told to followed them, they brought us to the emergency room, cloud was holding onto me tight, I think she was scared. They had us in a room, they had told us since dashie was asleep and cloud is too young to remember, that I would have to explain to the doctor that came in.

Dashie had gotten up on the bed, I sat cloud on the bed and I stood by it, cloud had grabbed onto dashie, and she was holding cloud close.

A doctor came in, "hi, I'm Dr. Jane" She said, "I'm just here to give you an exam ok?"

I nodded,

She smiled, "ok who wants to go first"

Dashie sighed, "I... I will" She said

Dr.Jane smiled "alright," She said I pulled cloud away, she was shaking and scared.

She examined dashie, then cloud, last me. Dashie and Cloud would have to get x-rays and I had a minor concussion.

Dashie had a broken ankle and cloud's arm was fractured, they had put the casts on, Cloud had to were a sling for 2-3 weeks and dashie had to use crutches.

We learned that the adults had some serious injuries and would have to stay for a couple days, we needed to stay with someone, I'm just happy that the foster care system had told them that if they could find someone we could stay with then when they're ready for us to come back then we could.

Dashie was holding a sleeping cloud in her arms sitting on the bed. I was just chilling on one of the chairs. Suddenly the curtain opened and Strike came in.

"I got out as soon as I could," He said

"Strike" I said getting up and giving him a hug

He hugged me back, "hi kiddos" He said

"Uncle strike!" Dashie said reaching for him with her free hand.

I pulled away letting him go over to the girls.

He went over and hugged them,"how are you three feeling"he asked as he stroked Clouds hair

"Besides my leg and the cuts good" Dashie said

Strike smiled, "how are you feeling blitz" He asked me

"Besides the small headache fine" I said

He smiled. "I'm glad it's nothing life threatening" He said

"If we can't find someone to stay with we'll have to get moved again" I said standing next to the bed

"What, they can't do that, not in the middle of the year" He said

"Ya they will, we won't have a choice, we like it here" Dashie said

"How long are they here for, do ya know" He asked

"I heard that Mrs.Flowers only needs to stay for a week but that's it" I said.

"Oh... How about if you stay with me for a bit" He said, "I can for short periods of time"

"Really you would do that!" Dashie said

"Of course dashie" He said

"Thank you thank you thank you" She said ready to jump and give him a hug.

He saw and gave her a hug, "I would do anything for you three"

Dashie was still saying "thank you"she was crying, and strike was trying to calm her down.

We learned that we're allowed to stay with strike! Dashie was almost crying again.

We lived with him for about a week and a half. Before it went down back to normal.
