Entire team was extremely delighted as they have whitewashed South Africa in the home series but for some unknown reason, But Virat is not as pleasant as he should be. He is having gut feeling something is not ok.  

Currently, Virat and Jaddu are playing battleground in their mobiles while jinks was sitting with them listening to some soft music.
"You ok Virat" jinks asked concerned seeing Virat not focusing on the game  "you seem little low from morning" 

"I'm fine jinks. It's nothing." Said Virat as he himself not sure about why he is sad. He shook his head slightly continued to play with full concentration.
"Arrg I lost again" Jaddu yelled as he threw the phone on the bed from 10 feet away..and it landed right beside Rohit on bed

Rohit who was on video chat with Sam was little alarmed by sudden action but nonetheless resumed his talk with Sam after giving death glare to Jaddu. This frustrated Jaddu even more as he was expecting to have some fun by having a fight with Rohit.

"I wish Harry and Shikhar were here. U guys are too boring" jaddu wailed again

"Even I miss them... Even Jassi, kuIiya and yuzi" jinks agreed.

Hearing them Virat realised...how much he is missing his team.. If they were around... His room would have been filled with annoying screams.. But still, their annoying screams are better than this frightening silence...

"Can't you see I was on call you idiot" Rohit screamed while throwing a pillow at jaddu.. After bedding bye to Sam.

Seeing that jaddu was searching for something to hit rohit.. "No jad" Jinks strictly said." and Rohit u too just shut up and come here.." He warned Rohit who was mockingly grinning at jaddu.

"Maybe this is the first time that we are come to Ranchi and didn't go to Mahi Bhai house." Said Rohit as he strolled towards the sofa.

"We can still go." said jaddu with his usual enthusiastic grin

"You know he went to j&k to fulfil his duties as Lieutenant Colonel MSD" Reasoned jinks. And no one could miss the pride in his voice.

"When did I say that we can meet him? We can go to his house eat yummy food and come back." Jaddu said trying to prove how smart he is. Only to get disgusted look from both jinks and Rohit

Virat was not all involved in the conversation as the treacherous heart is continually nagging him that something bad is gonna happen or already happened. But practical and sensible part is reasoning that he is just having that feeling just because he is not used to 'not have kids and Mahi Bhai' around for so long. Virat decided to believe in logical self.

But what Virat don't know is Gut feelings shouldn't be ignored

What happened to him now Rohit asked jinks through eyes as he saw Virat lost in thoughts Only to get a shrug from jinks meaning even he doesn't know.

"Virat what's wrr" Rohit started but Virat cut him off saying " where is ash?" trying to avoid Rohit's interrogation. 

"He is talking to prithi" jinks answered while Rohit gave death glare to Virat.

Before Rohit could vent out his anger on Virat the room door bust open and a panicking Ash entered saying "Switch on the tv Virat." 

"What's wrong ash?" jinks asked while Jaddu and Virat were searching for tv remote.

"Prithi just told me to switch on the tv, she sounded tensed" Ash replied as he was frustratedly searching for the remote.

"But I just talked to ritz she didn't say anything like that"Rohit wondered. "She might be busy with sam and didn't watch Ro" Jinks reasoned.

"will you guys stop talking and search the bloody remote?" Virat shouted "Rohit you were watching tv 2 hours back, where the hell did you keep the remote?"

The voice in Virat's has increased 100 times shouting at him that SOMETHING IS TERRIBLY WRONG.

"Ohh yaa" Rohit shouted while he ran towards the bed remembering he took it there when Ritz called him.  

Virat snatched remoted from Rohit's hand as he approached the tv area and flipped to the news.

BREAKING NEWS

TERROR ATTACK ON MILITARY ARMOURED BUS IN J&K.

Lt. COLONEL MSD IS SUPPOSED  TO BE IN THE BUS?

 IS MS DHONI SAFE?

Above slides were repeatedly shown on the screen along with pictures of the attacked bus and martyred soilders. 

"According to reliable sources, 2 army men along with MSD are untraceable while 3 attained martyrdom. But no official statement is given by officials or BCCI yet." came the voice of the reporter.

There was complete silence in the room. None of them could move from there places in shock. They felt like they have lost the ability to understand or think. Didn't know how much time they were like that before tv remote fell from Virat's hand and Rohit collapsed on the sofa.  

Jaddu was the first person to come out of shock. Seeing his friends turning pale. "This may not be true after all. They just said nothing is announced officially " Jaddu said trying to be cheerful but his voice had a hint of pain and fear. 

Jaddu's words have done there job. jinks and Ash came of shock and nodded at him looking little optimistic. Seeing both Virat and Rohit getting worked up Ash went to Virat trying to make Virat sit on the nearest chair, while jinks slipped beside Rohit. Jaddu was standing there not understanding what to do. he was always poor in handling these kind of situations.

"Virat, Ro clam down. Listen there is no official news ok. ye media wale kuch be bolenge. we now better than beliving them right." Ash said little sternly making Virat and Rohit come of daze. it seemed like it took them a few seconds to register what ash was talking about.

"But didn't even say that this is fake news ash"Rohit muttered in a teary and low voice. 

"Think positively Ro" chilled jinks "He will be fine."

"He has to be fine." Virat said in childish stubborn tone. jinks nodded at him with a small smile on his face. 

Virat mobile on teapoy rung making a huge noise in the silent room."It's Harry" Virat signed as he leaned down to check his mobile. He put the phone in silent mode and sat back with his face in his hands. He has clam himself down before he talks to Harry. Everyone in the room fell silent again. Hardik hadn't returned from London after his surgery and this news must have broken that hyperactive kid.

"We have to talk to him sooner than later Virat," Rohit spoke with a much-composed voice "You know, woh kitna pagal hai. He needs us now"

Virat nodded. of course, he knows Mahibhai meant the world to harry. in fact for all of them.  Just when he took his phone screen flashed showing Harry's name. he closed his eyes for 1 second before he answered the call and put it on speaker. 

"WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY SHOWING ON T.V....VIRAT" Hardik shouted as soon as Virat answered.

"Harry, calm down. There is no need to panic..ok. Mahi Bhai is safe." Virat said in a very patient tone " no official statement has realised yet...ye media wale kuch be bolenge. we now better than beliving them right." he just repeated Ash's words as he couldn't give any better explanation than that.

"I'm coming to india" Hardik declared after few seconds of silence.

"WHATTT... Hardik pagal mat ban. you have undergone a surgery 2weeks back and you should be in complete rest" Virat desperately tried to put some sense in Hardik's brain.

"Nah.. I'm absolutely fine and I'm coming now" Hardik said like a stubborn kid.

Sensing Virat is on the verge of losing his patience Rohit took the phone from Virat's hand.

"You are right Hardik. Come back. ane ke badh Mahi Bhai tere aisa pitaye karingi ki, you will have to go to London for another surgery." Said Rohit.

"And I'll help him in beating you" Jaddu spoke for the first time after the news broke.

"par mujhe Mahi Bhai ko dekna hai" Hardik said in such a childish broken voice that it would melt anyone's heart.

"Even we didn't meet him harry, I will video call you once we meet him"promised Rohit.

"You hurting yourself and coming here is not the solution harry" spoke jinks "It would only hurt Mahi Bhai." 

"Ok. I won't come" surrendered Hardik. he could not even think of hurting his Mahi Bhai.

"Good... now take of yourself. I will keep you posted on everything happening here." Virat said.

"Ok captain" Hardik said in his regular tone, nonetheless succeeded in bringing a small smile on Virat's face.

"I think we should call Sourav sir, he might know something," said  Virat as he cut Hardik's call and started dialling for Sourav Ganguly's number.

"Unreachable" Virat cursed under his breath.

" I think we have to go BCCI headquarters" Ash started "I have read an article stating Sourav sir went inside the office in a hurry if he is at headquarters at this moment that would only mean..." he couldn't complete his sentence. There was no need to complete too... cause they all know it would only mean something is wrong. But they have decided not to ponder much on it as it was only making them weak.

"There is a flight in 1/2 hour, we will be in Mumbai by 8 P.M" Jaddu shouted trying hard to find happiness in everything possible.

"ya will go. Hurry up guys" Virat said trying to sound little excited. 

"Oo... shit" Virat shouted.

"What did I do now?" Rohit replied almost instantly.

"aree..Not you yaar" Virat exclaimed. if it was any other situation all team would have on floor laughing. Even now it managed to bring a smile on their faces but sadly it did not last long as Virat continued. " Shakshi Bhabhi, Ziva ... they are alone. We almost forgot them.donot know in what state they are?"

They all fell silent again. They couldn't even imagine what Shakshi was going through now.

"Ash, Jinks both of you go to Mahibhai's house and stay there only, me Ro and Jaddu will go to Mumbai. " Virat said. Seeing jinks was about to protest "That's the only option available jinks, we can't leave them alone can we?" Virat said sternly.

"Ok.." jinks accepted defect. He doesn't want to leave Virat and Rohit when both of them are not in a proper state of mind. Though Jaddu is going with them neither of them would ever listen to Jaddu " You both always stay together." he added hoping that they will take care of each other if not there own self. 

"Of course" Rohit replied. and in 10 mins they were in their respective car going in different direction, not having any idea what future holds for them.

Hey.. Guys.. Here goes the first chapter of my first chapter. I'm so excited.. I started it as mahi-ro-rat fiction but i have no idea what it has become. I just could not help but add Harry's part. How can we miss Harry when we write about mahi bhai? Ok.. Yea..pls give me your genuine opinions and advice to improve my writing skills

P.S: Guys I also need suggestions for the title of this book.( as i can't come up with one)
