I was sitting on the balcony when Mr.Rott, my butler came in with a letter.

"From your father Sir" said Mr Rott. Mr Rott is a good man. He raised me ever since I was seven, now I'm fifteen years in human and demon years (they are the same).

He never let me down or never let me out, only if he knew who I was with. I look up to him as a guidance of a good gentleman. I even grew and dyed my hair just to match him.

"Thank you, Mr. Rott". I dont use his first name just as he never used mine. He only says my name to introduce me and my siblings to guess.

I open the envelop as he walk out my room.

I have news that you will be gifted the next Demon in line for the throne. I hope you take this very well and there will be a party held next Saturday.

"Hey its ok. At least you have a better job to do except for being a guard" my sister said. My sister Velvi is the third born. She rather be in a windago costume and scare people then be reading and signing papers, actually I would do that too if I had that option.

"Well at least I can do what ever I want now" my older brother smiled. My brother Nico was suppose to be in line. He is very laid back and chill, even in rough times. I wish I wasnt picked.

"Lucky asshole" I said jokingly when I punched him

"Well I guess I am but are you ok with taking this" Nico ask going back to being serious

"Actually I don't like it, this isnt how it supposed to be" I looked him in the eye "to be honest, I dont care if our dad king and I dont care if it is his orders" I look at Velvie "I just want my answers"

"I dont think you will get them, you probably will at the party" Velvie said

"Maybe but how will we know that" Nico said

"The paper doesnt say when or even why this is happening" I added on from what Nico said

"Well, Rin i think you should talk to dad yourself" Velvie said

"I guess your right" I said

"Well hello my children, how was your guys day?"

"speak of the devil" Nico whispered towards me

"Oh please they are teenagers they shouldnt be welcomed by tea"

"and there is disaster" Velvie said
