So here’s the story!

Lucy’s POV

It’s our dismissal time and Levy went home.

“Lucy, Sting, what do you want? The whole song of Tenohira or the shortened version?” My manager asked us as she piled up stacks of papers.

“I’d prefer the shortened since it’s just for the opening theme song of Fairy Tail.” Sting commented, nipping on his straw.

“I agree. Besides, it would be a hassle for us to handle singing and studying at the same time.”

“Alright, then.” Sting’s manager smiled at us. “We’ll start the practice next week on Tuesday, every 6 PM.”

My excitement about the song dropped down to zero the moment I remembered something. “But I have a project every after school...”

“You’ll only help them for thirty minutes, Lucy. You know your dismissal time is five PM, right? And don’t worry. The practice would be just for a month... or shorter, if you and Sting would perfect the song in no time.” My manager elucidated. Wait, I want that idea! Only thirty minutes with that air head and Lisanna every dismissal!

“Okay, this girl seconds the motion.”

When we got home, I opened my laptop and researched about the song Tenohira, the song Sting and I have to sing. I listened to it and experimented every sharps and flats.

Sore o sotto nuguu kara

Somehow, my cheeks felt wet. And the reason was because of Natsu. He was there in my dark days, ready to wipe the tears that fell down on the floor. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss Natsu. I sighed, quietly telling myself to just get over it.

The next day, Virgo told me to prepare for the party of Fairy Tail. Now imagine the shock on my face when Sting was the first one that came into my sight the moment I went down the stairs and Mom told me that Sting was going to take me to Fairy Academy.

“The song Tenohira, have you memorized it? And maybe practiced it?” he asked maybe just to put up a good conversation while driving, eyes focused on the road.

“Of course. How about you?”

“All done. Wanna try and sing it with me?” I couldn’t say no. Besides, I want to hear his voice.

“Sure! Just the chorus, fine with ‘ya?” He nodded, a small smile on his face.

“You have a nice voice!” I exclaimed.

“Same to you! No wonder you have many fans.” And we both laughed at his comment.

When we arrived, my blue haired best friend greeted me. “Levy, you never dress up like that. You’re just simple... tell me, are you trying to impress someone?” With my words, she blushed crimson red.

“It’s... no one! You see, it’s a very important occasion so I dressed up nicely.” she denied. “And hey, what happened with your first meeting with Sting?” That’s my turn to blush.

“Someone’s got a crush here. So he really is your crush?”

“Yeah... don’t you ever tell that to anyone.” And my dear best friend frowned, disappointed that Natsu isn’t my crush.

“I see. Sure he’s handsome. I saw his face on the magazine already. Wait, have you heard his voice? I presume yes.”

“Well yeah, it’s wonderful as expected. Our song is Tenohira. And you know what... he gave me a ride.”

“Really? That’s unexpected.” Amusement was written all over her face. “But you know what Lu, I still ship NaLu.”

“NaLu?”

“Natsu and Lucy!”

“We both have the same ships then, Levy!” Mirajane? Did she hear my crush? This is bad. It’s all thanks to Levy’s loquaciousness.

“Hi, Lucy!” Mirajane greeted. She was wearing a purple mermaid dress that perfectly showed her curves. She looked as beautiful as ever but I wish she never heard anything.

“Hello, Mira.”

“Hey! You guys!” Erza, who was wearing a red ball gown, ran towards us.

“What is it?” Mirajane fixed her hair clip and put it in her hair slowly.

“Sting Eucliffe, Jellal Fernandes, Rogue Cheney, Yukino Agria, Ultear Milkovich, and the popular kids from different academies like Lamia Scale, who includes Lyon Vastia and their principal Ooba Babasaama... in an hour, they’re all going to be here! We must work fast!” Oh, I see. Erza’s little crush, Jellal, is going to be here. No wonder she’s panicking.

Wait a minute... my crush is going to be there too!

We really have to finish this. Quick! “Guys... Erza is right, we must do our work fast.” Levy smirked mockingly as those words left my mouth.

After thirty minutes, everything was done and everyone was tired and haggard.

“Everyone! We must not look like exhausted in front of our guests. We need to freshen up.” Levy said, grinning.

“Hi... everyone...” Wendy’s here... with a white cat.

“Hello, Wendy!” I greeted the moment I saw her. The little girl waved at me sheepishly. Aw, so adorable!

The girls started interviewing Wendy and I decided to take a quick nap, since I’m really tired.

“Look, Luce! Wendy’s so cute, isn’t it?” Natsu chuckled, grinning from ear to ear when he saw Wendy for the first time.

“Yeah,” I answered.

“What...name?” Wendy spoke! Natsu and I looked at each other, gleeful.

“Lucy Heartfilia!”

“Mine’s Natsu Dragneel! I’m your cousin!” And he flashed Wendy a toothy grin.

Woah! What the... did I just... dream? That dream was real. It was the first time I met Wendy; Natsu and I were just six year olds. What a short dream.

“Lucy! Thank goodness you’re awake. Sting and the others will be here in just five minutes. Hurry and fix yourself up.” I was alarmed by Erza’s reminder so I stood up, hurrying towards the bathroom.

“Lucy, come here, I’m gonna fix your hair and put some make up on you.” Mirajane pulled me towards the mirror of the bathroom. I stared at myself and found that I looked horrible.

When Mira finished making me look presentable, I walked towards Levy.

“Levy, do you wanna go out and talk?” I queried and she nodded.

“... Levy, can you just tell me who your crush is?” I broke the silence. She stared at me for a very long time, an undecipherable expression on her face.

“I told you, I have no—”

Levy bumped into a tall guy with spiky, long, black hair. He was drinking a juice... so when he bumped into Levy, his juice flew towards the floor. Good thing not on Levy.

When Levy saw who the guy was, she blushed a bit. Hmm, maybe I don’t need to ask after all.

“Missy, can you please move away when you see me? Can’t you see that I’m drinking?” Wait... this is Gajeel Redfox, am I right?

Levy’s flushed face disappeared. “I don’t care about your drink. You should take care of it, stupid.” Levy shot back.

“Tsk. Shrimp.” I must admit, I pretty laughed at this. Levy shot me a hurt look that meant I was a traitor.

“Hmph!” And she walked out.

“Levy, is that guy, Gajeel from what I heard, your crush?” I chortled hard.

Levy’s face turned red. “W-W-What!? No way! That one is an ugly jerk, see?”

“Levy, if he’s ugly then why did you blush awhile ago? And why are you blushing again?” I chuckled when she bowed her head. “You can’t fool me, Levy. I’m your best friend, remember?”

“Yes, but don’t tell anybody!”

“Yeah, okay.”

“Lucy!!” Turning around, it was Sting with a black haired guy and a short haired girl. Those are Yukino and Rogue!

“Hi!” I tried to keep the blush that was trying to form in my cheeks.

“I heard that you’re also a celestial wizard! We can get along! You have ten keys of the zodiac, right? Well I have 2, Libra and Pisces.” Yukino was a little talkative in a nice way.

“Hehe... right. I am a celestial wizard. Friends?”

“Of course! Yukino Agria is my name! And you are...?”

“Lucy Heartfilia.”

“Um, guys, can you excuse Lucy and I for a bit? We need to practice our song.” Sting excused.

“Levy, do you mind?” I know she’s really in a good mood based on what was happening, so I know she would say no.

“Nope, go ahead!” Told you.

Sting pulled me to a nearby bench. He started by humming the instrumental introduction of Tenohira. Then we both sang it.

Little did we know that...

*Clap clap clap clap clap*

“At least we had audiences watching.” I heard Sting laugh beside me. I saw Levy together with Rogue and Yukino. The three of them were grinning especially Levy, whose grin was turning creepy by the minute.

Yukino had her face brightened up, “Wow, you two were amazing! And you know what, the two of you have a chemistry.”
Rogue carried two exceeds in his hands, “This one is Lector,” he pointed to a red furred exceed, “and this cute little ones is Frosch.” he pointed to an exceed wearing a frog costume.

“Ladies and gentlemen, guests everywhere, please have fun in the party!” Mira’s loud booming voice was heard over the large speaker. Followed by her announcement was a music, Fiesta by +Plus, playing in the background.

Levy, Sting and our companions began dancing to the music. Levy then hopped to me and said, “I’m gonna go to Wendy and the others.” She glanced towards Erza’s table that was filled with girls. She’s gonna leave me here, huh?

“Um, Sting, Yukino, Rogue.. sorry but I have to go. Thanks for your time!” I shouted and came after Levy when I saw a blue cat alone, crying.

“Hey, are you lost?” I touched his head carefully.

“Yeah, do you know Natsu? Natsu Dragneel? He’s with Lisanna now and I’m lost.” I don’t know how, but I understood him even though it was all meows that I heard. I soothed him out and bought him a fish which he delightedly accepted and thanked me.

But wait a minute. His owner is Natsu? Of course I won’t return it if this exceed’s owner is Natsu but...

“I’m Happy. Can I be with you for awhile?” Happy gave me his cute eyes after introducing himself.

The crowd is crazy because of the party... and I can understand as to why he’s lost. “Alright.” Natsu, you’ve got a favor to return.
