GruVia~The Love Candy (Bonus One Shot)

No one's POV

It was a normal day at the guild. Natsu, together with his girlfriend and his bestfriend, Happy, were on a mission. And Natsu's behavior towards Gray already changed ever since the day Lucy and him were in a relationship. Gray was pissed off about it, for he has no one to create a ruckus with anymore. Much to his disappointment, whenever he tries to make Natsu's head heat up, he would just ignore him and continue on whatever he was doing.

Gray was really, really bored. He'd just make an ice and play with it, or talk with Erza on what he should do. He did not know that Juvia was stalking him, and her jealousy was rising up again. She now considered Erza as her new love rival, as Lucy's replacement. But Juvia was keeping it only to herself, for she was afraid that she might experience the wrath of the great Titania, just like what she experienced on Tenrou Island.

Then, Juvia was really upset with her Gray-sama so she decided to just walk around Magnolia. She decided to, even for a little while, free herself from thinking about Gray.

She was strolling around Magnolia when she saw Lyon in the park, sitting on one of the swings. She walked towards him, knowing that Lyon's feelings for her had vanished.

"Hey. Juvia wants to greet a friend." she smiled at Lyon who looked up from his deep trance. He smiled back at her, too, and stared back at the ground.

"Hello. What brings you here?" he asked.

"Just freeing Juvia from thinking about things. How about you? What brings you here?"

"Well... I just returned from a job with Toby, Chelia, and Yuka and I decided to stay here for awhile and leave relax here. I'm exhausted."

"Oh..." Juvia had now a hint of sadness in her voice. No matter what she did, Gray creeps in in her thoughts every time. Even seeing Lyon is making her remember her beloved Gray-sama.

"Hm? What's wrong?" Lyon asked, concern filling his voice.

Juvia sighed sadly, "Nothing. Juvia just misses her beloved Gray-sama... even though he just ignores me everytime I cling onto him."

Lyon looked at her blue eyes and smiled. "You want Gray to be in love with you?"

Juvia's eyes lit up in excitement, nodding excitedly, "Mhm! Of course!!"

"Then... come with me." He smirked. He was willing to help a friend in need, especially his past love, so he'd do anything to help Juvia.

Gray is watching Mirajane prepare his glass of cold water. Bored to death, he talked to Mira.

"Mira, can you sing on stage?"

Mira stopped putting ice onto his glass of water and stared at him for awhile. She was weired-out. She felt something was missing. Or maybe someone. Oh, Juvia! Juvia is the one who is missing! So that's why I thought someone was missing when I saw Gray!

Gray flicked his fingers in front of Mira's face. She'd been staring at him for awhile now.

"Oh, hahaha, I'm sorry. What was it again? I was just spacing out... thought of something." she handed Gray the cold glass of water, shyly smiling and laughing at the same time, which Gray found weird.

"Uhh, I said could you please sing?" he asked once again.

Mira laughed before replying, "Sure thing, but put on your clothes first."

Gray gaped at his naked body, "Gahhh!! Why does this always happen to me?! Urgh. Old habits die hard." he muttered, annoyed by his habits. Ur was the reason why he always strips. He then put on his clothes.

"S-sorry 'bout that. Now can you..?" Actually, Gray was requesting a song because he was bored. He was thinking that if Mira sang he could sleep. And if he sleeps, he would not be bored anymore. He could go on a job for him to have something to do, but he's too lazy and bored to work. Nothing's fun today for him.

Mirajane swiftly nodded and walked towards the guild's back door. Probably to get her guitar.

She returned with a smile plastered on her face and went straight to the guild's performing stage, where Gajeel always performs when he just feels like it and was always thrown tomatoes by the end.

"This song is dedicated to a bored friend of mine, Gray. Hope everyone would enjoy this." Mira said, sitting on a chair and adjusting her microphone. She held her guitar.

Master Makarov who had just returned from a conference with a tired face looked at Mira for a brief second and sat in an empty table, sleeping.

"Hmm.. why can't you feel it? She loves you, she loves you. Hmmm... why are you ignoring her? She loves you with all her heart, soul and mind, but you just seem to ignore her everytime..." the beautiful white-haired girl hummed. She caught everyone's attention. The place was now quiet, except for Mira who was strumming the guitar. The song she just made up was pertaining to Gray and Juvia. To Gray, especially, because he can't see or feel Juvia's extreme love for him.

'Whatever. Even though in this simple song Gray would still not notice it.' Mira thought as she strummed her guitar, causing beautiful sounds to be heard everywhere. Some of her guilmates fell asleep; even Gray.

"And the sun... shining brightly in your face... makes me fall in love with you deeper everyday... hmm... why can't you feel it? She loves you, she loves you. Hmmm... why are you ignoring her? She loves you with all her heart, soul and mind, but you just seem to ignore it everytime..." Mira ended the song with the last strum. She was quite annoyed because of the fact that Gray had just slept all through out the song.

Sometimes, I just wanna transform into my demon form and punch Gray's gut. How dare he ignore Juvia's love for him? Such a dense idiot like him must vanish! Mira cursed in her mind. She went back to her work and continued washing the dishes.

Suddenly, while she was putting the wine glasses in the cabinet, she saw Juvia and Lyon near the guild doors. She hurriedly put down the glasses and ran to peek on the guild doors to eavesdrop on their conversation. Her guildmates were unaware of this, for they were sleeping soundily.

"Uhh... thanks? Next time again? Juvia thanks you with all her heart." Juvia smiled brightly at Lyon and bowed. And Mirajane....

Oh no, Juvia and Lyon are now dating! What about my ship, GruVia!?

Lyon laughed at her gesture and said, "Heh. Well, anytime. Next time, eh?"

"Next time." Juvia smiled wider.

At the end of that conversation, Mirajane began to feel miserable. She thought that next time, Juvia and Lyon would have their next date, and that her GruVia ship was TOTALLY ruined. She wasn't angry at Lyon, in fact she loved how he treats Juvia and knows that he loves Juvia and all, but she really goes on for GruVia.

Juvia opened the guild doors open, causing Mira to have sudden goosebumps all over her body. The Fairies have woken up from the doors' creaking sound being opened.

"What's the freaking sound?" Cana asked irritably, rubbing her eyes from her slumber.

"Mira.. why are you near the door??" Juvia ignored Cana's question, much to Mira's surprise. She was still frozen from the shock, but quickly tried to compose herself.

"I uhh... was hearing strange sounds... ehehehe..." Mira stuttered nervously.

"Oh-kay. Oh, Juvia wants to give you a little present by the way." Juvia handed out a paper bag full of clothes. Mira was curious why Juvia would give her anything like this, but she just shrugged and thanked Juvia with her sweet voice.

Juvia skipped towards the counter, Mirajane following closely behind her. When they reached the counter, the sweet girl asked, "Do you want to order anything?"

"Uhm, a lemonade would do. Thanks." the water mage gazed at the still sleeping Gray, grinning and blushing a bit. Mira noticed Juvia's action and frowned.

Huh? But I thought Juvia and Lyon are... dating? Then why is she... doing this to Lyon?

The white-haired girl shook the thoughts off her head as she gave Juvia her drink.

She sighed, worried about Lyon. I mean, yeah, she still roots for GruVia but she can't bear seeing Juvia betray his boyfriend. Or so Mira thought.

Juvia's POV

Lyon-sama. He really cared for Juvia back then, huh? But now, he cares for Juvia AS A FRIEND. Well Juvia can't blame him, Juvia turned him down for so many times but he was as clueless as ever. But Juvia was happy when he realized that Juvia don't love him, that Juvia only loves her beloved Gray-sama.

Sometimes, Juvia feels sorry for herself, though. Even Gray-sama have turned down Juvia for so many times. It was painful, but Juvia still decided to love Gray-sama no matter what.

Well the weird thing when Juvia arrived here is that Juvia saw Mirajane when she opened the guild doors. She was so tensed up and Juvia doesn't even know why. She was so weird. Mirajane was unlikely like this, so Juvia thinks there might be something fishy happening for quite awhile now.

Currently, Juvia is staring at Gray-sama's handsome sleeping face. His face was so peaceful that Juvia wants to cling onto him so tight but Juvia thinks she might disturb Gray-sama. Maybe he's tired, so Juvia would let him rest for awhile.

While drinking the lemonade Mira gave Juvia, she remembered the weird jar Lyon-sama found at the park.

FLASHBACK~~

Juvia and Lyon was walking towards the park's exit when Juvia noticed a tightly closed jar. She asked Lyon to open it and he obliged. Physical force wasn't enough so Lyon had to use sharp ice tools to make the jar open. Finally, the cap of the jar opened.

"What is this?" Lyon asked himself, holding up the container. "And why is everything inside it is shaped heart?"

"Heart?" Juvia asked, amazed.

"Mhm. See." Lyon gave Juvia the weird jar. Juvia inspected it carefully.

Juvia can't see anything weird about this... neither a single description..

Juvia stopped to see a paper sticked below the jar. She read it carefully:

LOVE CANDY ♡♡

Juvia was so overjoyed by this. This means, she could give this to Gray-sama!!

But then Juvia saw something that made her excited nerves calm down.

WARNING: ONLY WORKS FOR AN HOUR.

I frowned. Yeah, I use first person when I'm in a bad mood. And now, I'm definitely in a bad mood. Really, really bad mood. This jar of candy made my hope rise up and for some reason, it also crushed my hopes up to no good.

I ignored the jar and left it there. I did not care if I already left Lyon-sama; all I could tell him right now is that I'm in a bad mood.

"H-hey, Juvia, you won't get this?" Lyon catched up. He was still holding the jar. Luckily, I have calmed down.

"No..."

"But.. can't you see? This will make Gray love you!"

Juvia bit her lip as she thought about Lyon's comment. Juvia hesitantly took the jar from his hands and thanked him, "Thank you for chatting with Juvia. She really appreaciated it. I'd go back to Fairy Tail now." Juvia said, jabbing her hand behind her as she took small steps backward. Lyon smiled.

"Going to walk you home. Alright with you?" He asked.

Juvia nodded.

Juvia wonders why Lyon-sama walked me home. Juvia means, why? Juvia sighed. Maybe Lyon-sama's just being kind, nothing more. Juvia musn't overthink about things like this.

I remembered the love candy. I lifted my gaze up only to see Natsu's team return. Juvia sighed. Why did my past love rival had her first boyfriend earlier than Juvia? Juvia is just as beautiful as Lucy, right?

Juvia then had an idea. It slowly creeped me out, but Juvia's really desperate for Gray-sama. She'll do anything to get him.

I spent the rest of the afternoon thinking about my plan. I also decided to practice my first point of view because this is my POV.

I plan to do the "Gray-sama" plan tomorrow. What my plan is? To let Gray-sama eat the love candy. But I realized something. I'm so bad. Making Gray-sama love me was really wicked for me to do. Love must be natural, not forced. I became sad. It's because I know that Gray-sama would never love me. But even so, I still decided to continue my plan even if it really makes me stop the plan because of my conscience.

So the next day, I slowly walked towards Gray-sama, heart pounding really fast. I can't breathe! I'm so nervous!! 'You can do this, Juvia. Just execute your plan and tada! I've done it.' I encouraged myself.

I made my way onto him a little bit slowly. I was still nervous no matter what. Encouragements to myself was no help either. So anyways, I was a few feet away only, holding the jar of half-open and half-closed jar with love candies inside. But then something really, really idiotic for me happened. I tripped on a mat, causing for the jar's cap to fly away and the love candies to jump out of the jar. Great, I could really give this to Gray-sama.

I saw Gajeel stop on his way to the request board. He saw a love candy and picked it up. "Hmm? What's this weird candy?" he asked, examining the candy. I then saw Levy heading to Gajeel, holding a metal bag. Oh no, I'm screwed. I must think of a way to stop them!

"Gajeel! No! It's a candy and--" I explained but Gajeel cut me off.

"A candy? Weird that it's heart-shaped. Well let me taste it, geehee." But before I could stop him, he already ate it -- and he was facing Levy. He'd fall for Levy, so what now?

Gajeel blushed-- hard-- when he saw Levy. Levy was staring at him, confused on why a dragon slayer like him is blushing. She was dumbfounded on what she was seeing, and that was an understatement.

"Are you ok, Gajeel?" she inquired.

"Yes, I-I'm okay. Hey, is it o-okay for you to.. well, you know to talk with me for awhile? Shrimp?" Gajeel stuttered. This is so not like him. And I could only stand there, in any minute going to freak out, but controlled muself from doing so.

"Mgnrh. G-Gray?" I heard Erza's voice. No. Way. This can't be happening. Erza falling for my Gray-sama? I'm in real trouble!!

I was watching my every guild members pick up the stupid candy, stuff it in their mouth, and fall in love for a person; even a thing. I wanna move, but I can't. I wanna speak, but I can't. What is happening to me?

"Oh my... I think I'm in love!!" Bisca said, blushing and hugging a mug of beer Cana was drinking. Alzack and Asuka were staring at her. I think that the two have not eaten the love candy yet.

"L-Laxus..." Mirajane trailed off, slowly heading towards Laxus. Laxus looked at her direction and gasped when Mira suddenly gave him a bear hug.

Carla was bored and saw a piece of love candy scattered on the floor. She picked it up and chewed it. She saw Happy and... that's it. "Happy! Come here and let me give you fish. You wanna share it with me?" After what Carla had said, Wendy frowned. She's also completely bewildered on what was happening around her. Good thing she have sore throat, or else she's gonna be weird like everyone...

well except me and Gray-sama. Gray-sama is simply sitting in a chair, when he noticed pieces of candy on the floor. Take note: PIECES. Oh no! I must stop him! Or else he'd be weird too!!

"Gray-sama!!!" I shouted. But again, I failed to stop him. He swallowed a handful of candy.

When he saw me, he bacame flustered; much redder than Erza's hair. As he stared at me with those soothing eyes, I can't help but melt. I mean, MY Gray-sama is staring at me! And while blushing! My heart beated fast. I think I could die in joy.

"J-J-Juvia..." my Gray-sama is stuttering! What should I do? What should I do?

"G-Gray-sama.." I fidgeted.

"No need to be shy around me, Juvia." Gray-sama said. And he held my hand. I fumed-- fumed because of happiness. Is this a dream? If yes, then don't wake me up!

I think I need to be with Gray-sama for an hour....

57 minutes have passed since Gray-sama have eaten the candy. Yes, I'm counting every minute, every second. That's how addicted I am with him. And to top it all... there's only three more minutes! I need to treasure my time with him! Please, for what I will wish upon a star, I'd wish to make time stop!

I looked at my stopwatch and saw: 2 minutes, 30 seconds.

Oh no, not good.

He was clinging onto me like crazy for the past hour, and because I'm in love with him too (well at least my love is REAL, that's the difference between our love), I am also clinging to him. The girls were giggling with the ones they love. Yep, everyone would go back to normal with Gray-sama at the same time.

30 seconds.

I bit my lip. This thing would never happen again. How I wish there would be more hours we'd be like this. He ate a mouthful of the candy, right? I hope my wishes could happen.

I closed my eyes, ready for Gray-sama to run away from me. But then... nothing happened.

Wait a minute... nothing happened? An hour has passed already, and everyone was asking onto what happened to them. Juvia can't tell them, though, because Juvia is also confused as to why the love candies's spell was still unbroken.

And wait.. so maybe Juvia's wish came true! Thank you, love candy! This would've not happened because of you!

Sigh. And Juvia's 3rd POV hobby returned. Really, old habits die hard.

Juvia picked up the jar, Gray-sama still clinging to Juvia's arms. He's... like a child. Or Juvia's boyfriend. Juvia blushed at the thought.

That's when Juvia noticed something. Another note on the jar:

WARNING: Overdose of the love candy would make the person who ate this love the thing/person FOREVER.

And Juvia thinks Gray-sama ate too many candy. This is not a candy. This is a drug.

"Juvia! Would you be my girlfriend?" Gray-sama inquired. I fainted, a smile spread across my face.
