12 Am in the night you were studying for your exam tomorrow ....in the college library ...

your nose was buried in that criminal Law book and your spectacles were hinging on your nose ......the only source of light in that library was ...from your study lamp ...

"Hyuk Sir?" you whispered and frowned at the voice ...because you can't see him yet

"Sir? .... uh I can't see you..." you spoke in a silent voice and smile sheepishly

within a few seconds Mr. Kim Soo-Hyuk sir ...were in your sight of your white light-ed lamp

He playfully glared at you and crossed his hands across his chest ...

"You have exam tomorrow ...what are you doing this late?"  

"Umm......studying?" 

He sighed heavily and sat beside you ...closing your book completely

"Sir-" 

"No! .... there is no need for that..." 

"But why?" your whined and facepalmed .... your face removing your spectacles...

"Don't be this scared from the exam......You will ace it ...I guarantee you..." 

he breathed and puffed his chest ...patting it proudly 

You laughed loudly ...you soft laugh was grazing the empty library ... his puffed chest and over-puffed cheeks made you laugh more ....

He was literally looking like a man-child with his grey hairs 

You can't express it in words like ...how much you adore this old teacher of yours......you father was always your first support system ...until you came to this university ......

Mr. Kim became your second support system and also your personal Laughing mate, mentor 

"Sir....it's not that easy to beat your son in grades ..." you mocked and tried to find any reaction of pride or over-confidence .... instead ...he just chuckled softly

"Y/N sweety, if you analyze deeply .... It's not that difficult too..."

you scrunched your eyebrows .... He sighed and took a paper and pencil ...

"My Son is not a genius .... he is just a good strategist..."  

first time in your life ...you met this kind father...who is not so over-confident about his son ...he praises ...but he criticizes too ...

"Like you, he also leaves questions in the exam......"

"I don't think so ..." you balanced your face on your palm and watched him draw something 

The straight A student of the batch.... leaves questions in the Exam?

Hyuk sir, laughed softly and showed the roughly made .... flower he drew just now...

"Unbelievable? ...maybe...Like I said .... Namjoon is not born with an extraordinary mind .... He just does his Exam with ...accuracy" 

your eyes went wide 

"He only attempts those question ...that he knows to solve accurately ...." 

"Who asked the students to attempt all the questions on the Exam? ...we just need those answers which are accurately, brilliantly answered by you guys..." 

you looked at the rough sketch he made ......actually it was not a rough sketch ...it was made finely...

He drew a flower ...because that's the only thing he knew how to draw with brilliancy ... if you would ask him to draw your face ......it will not come as could as this sketch 

This was the time of your life when you learned the most important lesson of your life ......

Focus on the accuracy ...not quantity

"Woah! sir, you spoiled the strategy of your son! " You dramatically grasped your mouth .... making him laugh 

"Meh~ I was the one who taught him this..." 

"But still sir, what if Namjoon don't come first this time?"  you wiggled your eyebrows ....

"I will still be happy......because you will be on that first rank and .... you are not less than my daughter, are you?"

"I guarantee you Min Y/N this exam ......you will the first .... I saw your hard work ....and it will pay you well..."

Sometimes, relations are made out of values and emotions ......sometimes, people who are not related to you.... become more family than your own blood ....

Doctors said ...he is in critical condition .... his brain was having concussions and inner bleeding ...his operation is still going on ...it's been 8 hours since .... doctors are performing Brain surgery...

about Jieun she is in emergency anesthetic Labour .... Her due date was still 3 weeks away but now they because of external hitting .... doctors have to deliver it through C-section, otherwise the baby and mom ...both are in danger

You entered the hospital ...running .... immediately met with the devastated Kim Brothers ...

8 hours of waiting .... seems like 8 years to them ...

They understand .... Doctor don't take minutes to save a life ...

Its saving a life, we are talking about ....it doesn't happen in seconds 

Namjoon was sitting 3 seats away from you ...you had no guts to approach him ...

you consoled Seokjin, by Helding his hand .... but ...his gaze was .... numb

The doctors and nurses were going In and out .... from both of the ICU's 

you arrived here an hour ago, you saw Seokjin crying holding Yoongi....but you didn't saw Namjoon breaking down .... he didn't cry .... not even for a minute

His eyes were red ...his lips were chapped .... inside his mind a cyclone of emotions was going on .... you can sense that...

He was trying to be strong for his brother ......you knew that....

Namjoon was numb too.... his mind was playing games with him.... his heart was hammering ...his ears were resonating with his father's words...

Tears were boiling in his eyes ......right now, nothing other than his family safety was going on in his mind ...

A familiar buzzing of his cell.... buzzed in his back pocket ...he didn't care about that .... he ignored it...but when it was continuously, he wiped his tears and took out his phone

'So, It was all because of me...' 

Namjoon lifelessly stared at the bright screen ...on the back of the mind he was looking for reasons why somebody would do this to his family ......

but never in his dreams .... he thought he was the one responsible

Guilt ....regret ......anger ......remorse ...accusation 

All of these emotions ...suddenly attacked him ....

He was the responsible ...for his father and Sister-In-Law condition .......

He was the one who failed to protect his family ...he underestimated Ju-Kyung ...

A loud sob left his mouth .... his eyes were blurry with abundant number of tears ...

He harshly threw his phone ...it shattered on the wall ...he was still crying ...loudly 

your vision snapped his direction, you saw him breaking down finally ...

Your brother who was sitting with Seokjin got up to console him but you stood up even before him .... you forwarded your right feet to go ...but put it back in hesitance 

your fist was clutched ...you found yourself getting overwhelmed too ...witnessing his crying persona

After having a mental debate, you finally went toward him...

He was crying ...his face was hidden ...he was sitting supporting his elbows on his lap...

you stood in front of him 

"Namjoon?" whispering softly you gained his attention ....

Your eyes filled with tears and a gasp left your mouth ...when he looked up at you .... his venerable red eyes ...broke something inside you 

You gently grabbed his head and ...hugged him on your stomach ...

he coughed lightly ...still sobbing 

"I-It's all my fault ..." 

Tears went free from your eyes too ...you cried holding his head ...

his arms wrapped along your waist ...as he pulled you closer to him ....

"It's my fault .... it's my fault..." His crying subsided and he looked at you with guilty eyes ...

"I am a failure ......I don't deserve them..." 

"Don't say that..." you sniffed and crouched at his level ...

"Don't give me hope Y/N ...I don't deserve it ...they are in this condition because of me..."

"No-"

"Ju-Kyung did that because of me .... I-I failed them ...I am useless..." He cried again breaking eye contact with you ...

'How ruthless a human can be?'

He did this to his own brother? His own grand-nephew?

"Don't think like that Namjoon ...Kin Ju-Kyung will pay for this ...we will make him pay..." your eyes were firm ...his guilty doe-eyes met with yours 

 Your firm brown eyes ...did something inside him.... like a sense of protection, like a sense of ...Someone existing ....

At this very moment ...he realized something ...

Seokjin body was going limp on Yoongi's shoulder ...his eyes became a drought of tears ...no tears were left to cry ...

"Mr. Seokjin, you wait here I will bring you some juice..." Yoongi made him still properly and went to the cafeteria ...

Seokjin was feeling light-headed .... because of intense crying and dehydration

If you ask Yoongi, what is he doing here? ...why is he comforting the man he never met?

The only answer he will give ...he is here because of his sister ...and his rules .... Yoongi can't see people crying heretically .... He saw Seokjin breaking looking at that closed ICU ward ...he couldn't just step out of the hospital ...he has humanity ...

"Mr. Kim Seokjin?" 

An older Nurse called his name as soon Yoongi left Seokjin alone .... Namjoon was clutching your hand ...as soon as Nurse voice ranged in the near empty Lobby ...

He left your hand and ran towards her ...Seokjin gained some consciousness too ...he stood up abruptly

"Y..yes ...Nurse ...how are they? Is my baby safe? And what about my wife and father? "

 Seokjin bombarded her with his questions 

"Calm down sweety, your wife is still unconscious .... the baby is delivered safely ...we have to put the baby in incubator for observation .... you can meet your wife after a few hours ..." 

Just how a relaxing bath feels after a long hot day .... Seokjin felt his tension releasing .... his wife and baby were fine...

"H-How is my father? " Namjoon asked ...nervously 

"He is still in process of a brain surgery .... His right leg is fractured. you.... have to wait for some more time for him..."

"Coffee?" 

You asked to place a hot cup of coffee in front of Namjoon....

A new day, A new morning sunlight ......Staff was filling the hospital ...sunlight was making entrance through windows 

7:30 Am was the current time ......just about an hour ago, the doctors confirmed ...that Mr. Kim is out of danger now ...he is under sedatives and resting 

Seokjin is with his wife and his baby...boy

You, Namjoon and your older brother were in cafeteria...you became their waitress and served them the morning coffee and snacks 

your eyes were tired ...but you refuse to show it .... but Namjoon saw that...

He grabbed your wrist lightly and made you sit on the chair across him 

"Take a rest Y/N ...you have already done so much for ...us"

He mumbled and sipped the morning fresh coffee 

"I-I can't put in word ...how thankful I am to you ...without you or Yoongi Hyung ...I don't know how will I mange Seokjin Hyung...." 

Your older brother was not sitting with you ...he was sitting far away from you guys ...near a window 

you smiled softly making him smile too ....

"Well, Hyuk sir was there for me when I needed him the most .... How can I back away when he needs me the most? " 

"Y/N ...you should take a rest ...me and Hyung will manage ...Yoongi Hyung will take you home-"

"No-" 

"Listen to me Y/N ..."

"You know right who did all ... right? ...my pathetic excuse of an uncle......see, tomorrow is the hearing ...you need to prepare for that ...." 

"We can do it together..." you countered placing your cup 

"We can't Y/N .... It's my professional vs personal life ...I am the lawyer of Kim Ju-Kyung ...my oaths allow me to defend my client ...at any cost ... But ..." 

"But?" 

"I can't scheme against him ...visibly... but you can" 

Both his palms came over the small table .... he hesitantly held your hands 

"You have to make him pay Y/N ...You have to win this case"

 Determination was dripping from his eyes ...he looked straight in your glowing orbs 

"My profession is my passion; I can't betray my passion like that...That's what my father taught me.... only you are the one who can make him pay Y/N ..." 

"...I will try my best...but please don't put this much trust in me...I am not-"

"I know you will, just remember one thing .... sweetheart" 

His whisper made you feel tingly inside you 

"Whatever happens in courtroom ...tomorrow .... have faith in me..." 

Like Doctors are bound by their duty ...they have to treat their patient ...no matter what ...Lawyers are also bound by the same duty .... they have to try their best to defend their client ...No matter what...

No matter if their client is a living monster .... No matter if their client is a murderer...Every law gives citizens a chance to defend themselves ...

The court of law of this world ...treats them as innocent until proven guilty 

You mentally praised Namjoon's professionalism .... You admired his skills .... but you also know ...he will not sit quietly not after .... that monster did to his family ......he will take a revenge ...but silently

Your mind went back to the memory when he held your held .... you questioned yourself .... Why were you so touchy with him?

And why ...it does feel you so.... right

"Nini?" Your older brother-tired voice called you .... from the driver seat ...you looked at him

"We are here" 

You opened the door and sighed deeply ...You back was devastated after sitting for more than 10 hours ...

your eyes were puffed because hadn't got a wink of sleep since yesterday .... you glanced at the watch ...8:00 Am ...

24 hours ...you spent 24 hours without any sleep...you remember you were roaming around Byun Baekhyun during this time ...yesterday ...

"Brother ...take a leave today ...you need sleep..." you muttered quietly and entered the house ...

Yoong called his office to inform him about his leave today ...you wanted a leave too .... but, no way in hell was it possible ...

The hearing was tomorrow ....and not even a word of tomorrow's delineate document is written until now...

Yoongi tiredly sighed ...because you were not convinced for the leave today ...you told him that it is only a work of few more hours ...after that you will rest ...

you climbed up stairs to go to Jackson's room .... he must be sleeping until now; you shook him gently ...

He woke up and frowned witnessing your tired eyes ...you told him everything was happened in last few hours and honestly ...he was shocked to core 

He was repeatedly saying sorry but you interrupted him with a slap on head ....and told him to go to the hospital to meet them ...

You told him to go ...help Namjoon and Seokjin if they need any ...you were sure they were in need of some help...

He immediately got ready ...and went for the hospital 

You bathed and dressed ....and asked your older brother to drop you in your cabin ...because sleep won't allow you to drive ...

Yoongi worriedly drives you to your cabin ...

"Y/N ...I am telling you ..Jackson will do your work ...let's get some sleep yeah?" 

"Oppa...it just for 3 hours I'll be home before you will in your deep sleep..." you chuckled 

"Listen-" 

you didn't listen to him and opened the door ...as your destination was here 

"Y/N!"

"3 hours !!" 

your flats were tapping on the floor ....

"Hi mark!" you smiled ...he smiled back and went back to his work ...

taking out the keys from your bag ...you unlocked the door 

you switched on the lights and sighed heavily ......because someone was already on your cushion chair ...

"Hi Hoseok..." 

"Hello...baby..."
