"-And how are you going to do this?" I raised my eyebrows and leaned back on my cushioned chair ....

"Heh, are you doubting me?" the man Infront of me smirked and giggled 

I swear to God, my whole 2 hours have passed like this ...Park Jimin doesn't get to rest his natural teasing skills ...

His teasing is pissing me off ...and I can't decipher why ...

Why though?

I don't know maybe because of the fact that this flirt sitting in front of me is Neighbour of Y/N ...he gets to see her everyday ...even I get to see her occasionally ...

mainly in the courtroom, and sometimes when I accidentally saw her in the cafes or her favorite relaxing beach ...

This Jimin guy luck is far better than mine .... he gets to see her beautiful face every day and maybe he flirts with her too ...

Damn it! I figured it out why I was feeling so irritated 

Does he flirt with her too? 

I hope not ...because this pencil in my hand would break like his bones if I found out he did ...

"Yes...I am doubting you Mr. Park" I smiled sarcastically and crossed my hands on my chest

His face was dumbfounded ...guess he never heard a comeback like this...

"I am a professional remember?" He cleared his throat and sat attentively 

I nodded remembering his details ...

Those details stated he is an experienced investigator ...I can trust him 

"So, trust me and chillax..." Jimin carelessly shrugged and leaned back

Oh, how unserious is this man ...

"Finding evidence is not a dough's play park Jimin ....so open up and tell me how are you going to do this.... " Sternly delivering I slammed my palm on the Mahagony table 

I was seriously in no mood to bear Jimin's teasing .... anymore

The fact that he was way more handsome and a good flirt than me .... was giving me threats ...what if she gets wooed by this flirtation?

What will I do then? 

But then I remembered, she also has an older brother .... Now, I highly doubt that Min Yoongi will ever let this Jimin guy flirt with his sister ...

That man is way more protective of his sister ...I am looking for ways to impress him ...

'So proud of you Brother-in-law...Just save Min Y/N for me...'  

My fantasy broke when I heard a mutter 

"Tiger needs to chill"

This was defiantly from Jimin's side 

"What?" I questioned him 

Jimin's eyes widened in shock when he realized he spoke loudly ...

"Trust me, will you?" He pouted like a little man child he is 

"Why don't you just tell me your strategy? " 

I was slightly doubting him now ...seriously I can't feel any investigator vibes from him ...

"We will follow whatever your Miss Y/N is doing ..." 

I like the sound of it ....MY Y/N 

but wait- follow whatever she does?

"What do you mean?"

"She had a stronger part in this case .... we will follow whatever evidences ...she is collecting..." Jimin smirked 

This case or not ...but I was definitely sure of one thing ...

I should have looked for someone else ...

"Where are you going?" 

"Fucking hell- ...Dad?!"  

I was getting ready to go...Heaven's know where?! .... Park Jimin just told me to get ready ...we are going to somewhere ...I tried to ask him where ...but he just shooed me away telling 'it's for the case' like...

don't I have the liberty to know where the hell is he taking me ....and that too early in the morning?

Now, he is sitting in my living room probably enjoying my house treat again and here I am getting ready ....

He told me to wear something casual ...I was just putting my cologne on when Dad barged in my room ....

My family has a weird trait of barging in my room ...first Jin Hyung and now, my dad ...he must have seen Jimin sitting in the living room ...he is already annoyed by that guy's audacity 

"Namjoon .... Where are you going?" He asked me calmy 

"I have work..." delivering in a monotone ...I continued smoothening my unwrinkled T-shirt 

"So, you do know that man ..." 

I sighed heavily and sat on my bed ... I know why dad is so irritated by Jimin ...It's because Jieun noona is like a daughter to him ....and no father can tolerate any man flirting with his daughter .... In front of him 

It's his protective father mode speaking .... 

"Dad... I have a case related work with park Jimin and ...about him flirting with Jieun Noona ... I have made him understand ..." I assured him and smiled to my paranoid father 

"I hope you did Namjoon, if next time I see him flirting with Ji ...then I will end him ..."

This was supposed to be a threat but my father can't do it.... He is still looking like a koala who is denied the food ...involuntarily a giggle passed from my mouth ...

looks like I have made him pissed...

"I am telling you Namjoon Kim .... make him understand next time!" 

Like that he turned on his heels and finally took his exit ...

closing my eyes, I took a deep breath ...

'let's see where do we have to go with Park Jimin'

"Drive fast, will you?" you groaned and slapped his arm with the file that was in your hand 

"God Damit woman! .... It's 8:30 in the morning and I am sleepy as a sloth." Jackson whined and slammed his head on the steering wheel 

At 8:30 in the morning you and Jackson were sitting in his car ...going to pay a visit to Byun Baekhyun ...

waking up Jackson Wang is the hardest thing in the world ...he took around 2 hours to gets ready ...the first man you saw who takes hours to get ready ...

You woke him up with your sweet kiss on his forehead and went out his room in hope maybe he will get up from his bed and take a bath .... but when you came back.... you saw Jackson wang sleeping on the bed ...again

Then what?

you smacked his face with the pillow and whiningly and groggily he went for a shower 

Now, he is riding at the speed of a bicycle .... how lazy this man is?

You swiftly opened the small water bottle that was already in the car and sprinkled some water on his face ...

"Yah!" he hurriedly took the bottle from your hand and threw it on the backseat ...

"I'm Awake ...I'm Awake" he huffed and wiped his face 

"Good ...good" you laughed out loud 

"I swear to god I will get back to you-"

"Drive!"

"I don't think he is at home...." Jackson muttered glancing at the apartment away from the car...

"He is..." you spoke with confidence...because Hoseok's information is trustable ...

Last night when you told Hoseok that you were going to meet Baekhyun ...he gave you his office timings instantly without you asking for it ...and you admit it was quite useful ...

Baekhyun's office timings are 9:45 am in the morning ...and right it was around 8:45 means you guys were an hour advancing ...

"Let's go..." you opened the car door and stepped out ...following you Jackson also stepped out and stood beside you

"Hmm?" Jackson made his eyebrows jump when he glanced at you 

"Hmm" you nodded with a confirmation ...

Apparently, this yours and his way of telling each other 'Let's do this' 

Byun Baekhyun was getting ready for his office .... He showered, made his breakfast, then prepared his files ...all by himself ...

His father doesn't live with him ...there was a time when he used to ...when his youngest son was .... alive ...

After Baekho's death.... His father shifted away from Baekhyun because of grieving on his youngest child's death ....

The youngest child is always closer to a parent's heart ....

stuffing all the files needed for his day today ...he picked up his bag and wore his shoes ...

Glancing at his apartment one more time in case he left something, he turned off the lights and fished up his keys ...

He closed the door and locked it using the passcode ...and the key ...

"Mr. Byun..." upon closing the door he immediately heard a familiar voice ...

Jackson wang ...

Baekhyun turned and spotted you too ...

"What are you two doing here?" he asked sharply ...clutching his keys more tightly 

"We need to have a talk Mr. Byun ..." Jackson smiled stiffly and you smiled too ...

"Can we make this quick ...I'm running late..." Baekhyun impatiently glanced at his watch and sat while fidgeting his legs ...

"You have an hour to go office Mr. Byun ...No need to stress out ...we will drop you if needed ..." You spoke looking in the eyes of that impatient man ...

"But still .... I request you guys to make it quick..." he smiled stiffly and leaned back 

"Fine "... you glanced at Jackson who was sitting beside you ...

"Recently I met a friend of Baekho .... who worked with him in that warehouse ..."

Baekhyun raised his eyebrows 

"You never told us about it...even though you said you were the closest to Baekho..."

Tense expressions were spread on his face .... the leg he was fidgeting few seconds ago was now resting idlily against the couch foot 

"I ...uhm so much was happening that time ...I must've forgot about Min-Jun" He spoke carefully 

"So, you knew about Min-Jun..." Jackson countered leaning on his thighs 

"Yes, I knew about him" Baekhyun confirmed 

How can he forget someone so important ...it was not like Baekho had too many friends ...he literally had one friend ....and he forgot about that too...

you nodded and licked your lips 

"You forgot about the only friend your brother had?" Jackson really quoted your words 

"I told you ...so much was happening that time .... A human tends to forget you know?" Baekhyun shrugged 

Jackson was about to speak something else when you placed you palm on his upper arm ...indicating him to stop 

"Is there anything else?" 

Baekhyun tone was evident that he was not fancying you guys any longer ...

"We understand that you were stressed and were grieving at that time .... We want to know ...Is there anything else about your brother ...that you are forgetting? " 

Your tone was professional but still had a hint of sarcasm in it ...

"Excuse me..." 

"She asked a simple question Mr. Byun...Is there anything else we should know?" 

You knew bringing Jackson would be beneficial...he is good at making people feel pressurized, then spill ...

"N-no.." Baekhyun shook his head in denial, but his expressions were telling that he had something right on tongue just need more persuasion to spill it out

"Eventually, we will get to know whatever it was ...we have sources .... but let's just not go on a long road .... make it easy for each other?" Jackson tried to push him one more time 

It was no doubt that you guys have sources ...and your biggest source was Jung Hoseok ...then you itself ...

over the years you were gotten pretty good in finding things related to your case 

Baekhyun was fidgeting his leg again ...guess it was his habit when he is nervous 

Does that mean he was nervous all the way when you guys started talking?

Certainly...

"We are Lawyers Mr. Baekhyun ...and we have to know everything about our case so that we can mold that in a victory ..." you spoke in a persuading tone in hopes maybe Baekhyun will be ready to spill 

Lawyer has to know everything about their case, about their client ..so that they could use that information in their Favour 

you spoke nothing but ...facts

"A-actually I have hidden something from you guys ..." 

Finally, His hesitance broke

With pleasing eyes, you glanced at Jackson ...who was looking back at you 

you and your best crossed your legs ...in sync

"Continue Mr. Byun " you both said in a union ...making Baekhyun more nervous 

"Uhm... Baekho used to own a Go-Pro camera..." He started ...and finished?

'That's it?!' 

your mind screamed 

"And what is there to hide in this?" Jackson spoke raising his eyebrows 

"It's missing since the day ...Baekho died ... he used to record everything recordable in it...one week earlier before he died .... He took that camera to the warehouse ..." 

"How do know it is missing?" you questioned 

"Because police didn't give us that camera when they handed us his commodities ..." 

It's defiantly missing ...because the locker Baekho used to use has now been cleaned and some other worker must be using it.... there is no way it's still in there

Police may have confiscated that camera

"Anything else?" still looking for a chance Jackson asked for the one last time 

"No ...Nothing is left now..."

Sudden questions were brewed in your mind ...why did he hide this from you?

When Baekhyun refused that now he had nothing else to hide, there was no point in questioning him further ...

you took Jackson's wrist and bid Baekhyun a hurried bye...OfCourse ...not before you asked if he wanted a lift .... but he denied... and you and Jackson were finally sitting in the car ...in silence 

"This man is questionable..." Jackson muttered and glanced at you 

"I know..."

"Y/N I swear if I get one day with him ...I get everything that he is hiding out of him... "

"You will not do that .... you are a lawyer ..not a Thug" you spoke firmly and looked at him 

"We will do the work, with a right procedure" 

With a meaningful glint in your eyes, Jackson understood that it was his sign to stop now...

"Let's get a Breakfast, should we?"

"OfCourse Jax..." 

"Pulling right up to Blue side cafe then...."

"What are we going to do now?" Jackson parked the car in the parking of the cafe and sighed heavily

"I will be contacting Hoseok about this ..." you spoke and threw your office bag in the backseat

"And then?" He peeped his head out of the opening gate of the car ...

"Nothing else .... you don't worry about it ...Just prepare the paperwork for tomorrow case hearing ..." you closed the car door and Jackson locked it 

"Y/N~ isn't paperwork too much for me..." he whined and followed you to the front of the cafe ...

"I know ...but you arrange them the best Jaxie ...I can't help it" you teased him and walked without looking back at him 

"Y/N~ at least help me dumbass..." he opened the glass door of the cafe and made you enter first 

you smiled with amusement and ...shook your head...

"Yah!" 

"Aww ...Is the Jackson wang asking for help?" you spoke in a baby voice and cooed at him 

you both were walking inside the cafe ...the cafe which reunited your friendship 

you both already had a favorite seat here ...since, you both became the regular costumers here...

With teasing and Jackson's whining you both were walking towards you guys' favorite seat 

upon approaching ...you both frowned when the seat was not ......available ...

Jackson was walking ahead of you he suddenly halted on his feet making you bump in his back

"what the fuck dumbass-" 

"What are they doing here?" Jackson pointed towards the already occupied seating 

 those two people...specifically men ...were way too familiar 

"Namjoon and .... Jimin?"
