Zeldas P.O.V

"Zelda?" he asked wiping his tears away

"mhm." i smiled

This boy seemed so very familliar to me, but i decided to let it go for now

"here." i say reaching my hand out to him

"how about we go to my house, and you can tell me everything there." i say

"u-uh okay." he responded shyly, as he took my hand

i gotta admit this boy Link was very cute, and for some weird reason...

i feel safe around him, as if he'd protect be even though, he seems so weak right now.

but why?

"um, how old are you." i heard Link say behind me

"i'm 9." i smile

"what about you?" i add

"oh, im 9 also." he responded quietly

i waited for him to walk up beside me, then said

"that's so cool!"

"when's your birthday?"

"April 20th." he replied

"mine is june 11th." I smile

"looks like your older then me, huh?" i say

"i-i guess." he replies looking at the ground

"oh look were here!!" i say yelling and pointing to my normal sized house

"what's that place?" asked link pointing to the fighting school, where everybody goes to learn  to fight so they can protect the village.

Everyone has to graduate from there, but you get to decide if u want to become a gaurd or not after.

"oh, that's the gaurding school. My dad's the instructor person there. meaning he's the boss." i smile

"me, and you will have to go there someday." i add

he kept staring at it, with amazment in his eyes.

i wonder why?

"link, lets go to ." i say

"o-okay." he replied

i took his hand, and ran to my house.

 we then took our shoes off, and i guided him to the kitchen.

my mom was sitting at the table, with a sad expresion on her face

"mom, i brought a friend!" i smile

she looked up at us, as her frown turned into a big cheerful smile

"oh, hello." she greeted

"take a seat, and i'll go get you two some apple juice." she added

i sat down at the table, and patted down the seat next to me to indicate Link to sit.

he seemed so uncomfortable.

i kept wondering why, as my mom put the apple juice infront of us, and then i remembered

"why were you crying?" i asked as i turned my gaze to him

"you were crying?" added my mom, as she took a seat

"will you tell us why?" she added kindly

he turned his gaze to his feet

"m-my daddy died." he whispered

my mom bit her lip, as i saw a tear drip from his eye

"h-how?" i ask concerned

"i'll tell you." said my mom, as i turned my gaze to her

"last night, most of the gaurds had to go into the forest to fight these dangerous goblins out of our sector. It was like a huge war, luckily no one died. Well except for one man, he was vey brave, he went on his own to find the goblin king, but after everything, no one found him." she explains

"Oh." i say looking down at the table

"hey, link?" i start

"y-yeah?" he stutters trying to act strong

"why were you alone when i found you,"

"why werent you greiving with your mother?" i asked

"i-i dont have one." he replied, as he wiped a tear from falling down his face

"sweety." said my mom

"where are you staying tonight?" she added with concern

"No where." he responded

at that moment i had an idea

"mom!" i burst

"he can stay here right?"

"you know, until we go to the academy!" i say excitedly

"but Zelda, we dont have a room for him." says my mom

"thats okay." i smile

"i have two beds in my room, remember mom.'' i say

"hmm, your right."

"that should be fine then." she smiled

"yay!" i say in excitment

"c'mon Link i'll show you our room." i add as i took him upstairs
