[Nezumi]

Once I closed the gap between us I was finally comfortable, Shion was like a pillow, so soft and warm, he looked like someone good to cuddle with. I fell asleep almost instantly.

"Hey Nezumi~" Shion said seductively.

I was sitting on the couch. "Hm?" I said obliviously.

Shion walked up in front of me. "So~ what are you doing?" He asks with a mischievous looking smirk and lust filled eyes. Before I could answer he sits on my lap and starts making out with me, I was blushing furiously but didn't push him away. Shion started feeling up and down my chest before placing his hand over the rim of my pants and undid my belt.

Then I woke up...

My breathing was a bit heavy I looked at Shion, well the back of his head anyway, he was sleeping very peacefully, and his breathing was steady and calm. My arms were still around him I gripped just a tad bit tighter on the boy, he shifted his position slightly. God he was so adorable.

That dream, is it bad to say I wanted it to continue? I haven't even known Shion for a year, yes, I know we met eight years ago, but we weren't together long enough. Do I even consider Shion as a friend? Surely I have to, he does know a fair amount of stuff about me.

I heard a yawn which snapped me out of my thoughts. It was Shion. He rubbed his eyes.

"G-good morning." He said followed by another yawn. "I was sleeping lightly, I felt your movements." Said Shion.

"I'm sorry did I wake you?" I ask a bit worried, wondering if I disrupted his slumber.

He chuckled and nodded. "It's fine though." He said.

"Are you sure?" I ask feeling a bit sorry.

"I'm sure Nezumi." He turned around still in my arms. "How did you sleep?" He asks looking straight into my eyes.

I blushed softly, oh god, I was blushing. "Pretty good actually, thank you."

"I think this is a first." Shion said, oh god he was going to say it.

"What?" I ask, acting as if I don't know what he's talking about.

"You're blushing, silly." He said,

I KNEW IT!

"Is it really that noticeable?" I ask.

Shion nodded. "It's fine I think it's a cute look on such a tough guy like you."

"Whatever" I averted my eyes away from Shion's quickly.

Shion let out an exaggerated sigh. "I want to stay here all day, but I promised my mother I would see her again today, Why did I say thaaaat?" He dragged out the 'a'.

"Your mother," I said. "Oh yeah I've never met her, just communicated with her is all." I mentioned.

"Do you want to come with me? We won't stay for long, probably stay for ten minutes if not twenty." He said.

"Sure I don't mind." I loosened my grip on Shion a bit.

"Well, I can make us breakfast and we can head out from there, you can shower if you want, you can even take the first one." He said sitting up in bed.

"That's very kind of you." I was a bit surprised actually.

"You shush." He flicked my forehead.

Well okay then...

"Owww." I rubbed my forehead.

"Get up, I'm going to make breakfast for you."

"Ugh mommy Shion returns, lay back down you were a nice pillow." I was acting so childish, oh my god.

Shion giggled and shook his head, and started to try getting me out of bed.

He convinced me to get in the shower, he rolled me off the bed, my side still hurts because of it.

"I'm sorry, but you were so lazy." Shion said kicking a rock along the sidewalk.

"Yeah yeah, you'll pay for that later." I smirked at him.

"Huh?" He said quickly.

"Aren't we almost there?" I ask changing the subject.

"Oh yeah, it's just down this street." He pointed.

It didn't take long to get there after that.

"Mom!" Shion shouted.

"Shion!" I heard a child's voice run down the stairs. It was a little girl, in a frilly green dress, with her hair in a small ponytail.

"Hi Ayaka! Did you miss me?" He asked the little girl, she nodded happily.

"Who is this?" I kinda spoke quietly to Shion.

"The baby I rescued, my mother adopted her. After I returned." He smiled, then looked at the stairs, there was someone coming down.

"Hello Shion." I'm guessing it was his mother, she was so beautiful like her son, Rikiga was right, you can see the resemblance. She gave her son a kiss on his forehead.

"Who is this?" She asks Shion, smiling at me.

"Mom, this is Nezumi." He says softly.

"N...Nezumi?" She put her hand over her mouth and she started tearing up. She came over to me and gave me a hug. "Th-thank you." She got some of her tears onto my shirt, but I didn't mind.

"No problem." I said. 

"You're very handsome, Nezumi." She complimented, I just gave her a smile. "I love your long hair."

"His appearance didn't change at all since the last time we saw each-other." Shion said to her.

"I'm so glad you and Shion are with each-other again, Shion couldn't bear being without you for about a year or two." She smiled.

"Well, I'm okay now." He said. "Now that Nezumi is back." He added on ad looked away.

Shion's mother grew fond of me very quickly, and she couldn't stop thanking me, I don't think I did much, I just tried to protect Shion.

"Well, Nezumi and I should at going." Shion said.

"Aww." I hear Ayaka.

"Please take some bread or something!" His mother offers.

"Oh, sure." Shion says as his mother hands him a bag and looks at me. "Let's go."

"Is this basically your life now?" I ask Shion as we left the building.

"Mhm." He nodded. "I'm pretty okay with it, so I'm not complaining.

"Do you even have a job?"

"Yes, I'm a barista now and just didn't have work today, if I did I would've left you, and leave you all alone with no 'pillow' to hug."

"Now that's just cruel." I whimpered.

The rest of our way was pretty silent, we didn't have any other important talks for your enjoyment, wait whoa did I just break the fourth wall?! okAY OKAY ABORT ABORT!!

We made it back to Shion's small drab apartment.

"Nezumi? You still live underground in the western district yes?"

I nodded.

"Why don't you come live with me? I know, you be been living in the Western District for such a long time, and I know you can't forgive what No. 6 has done to you, but please, come live with me." He pleaded.

I was surprised, my eyes had widened, then I smiled softly and ruffled his hair. "Idiot." He frowned. "Of course I'll stay with you, besides..." I paused.

"Besides?"

"You're a very comfy pillow, you better start getting used to it."
