Jasmine's POV

I laughed as Lin ran in circles, holding a daisy. Suddenly, a giant bee flew from the flower and headed towards me. I ran as fast as I could in the other direction but soon realized I was on a treadmill. The bee flew in front of me.

"Jas!" It said. "Jas! Jas! Jas!"

I woke up to see Ant sitting on the edge of my bed and looking over me.

"You're really hard the wake up Jas!" He laughed while standing up. "Get dressed. We're going out for breakfast." He skipped out of the room. I giggled at my friend.

Although I was still sad about Noah, it was hard to be in a bad mood for long around Anthony. I jumped out of bed and went to take a shower. After I was done, I threw on a Harry Potter t-shirt, some jeans, and a pair of converse. I didn't really feel like going out right now but decided not to ruin Ant's morning.

I took a step towards the door before black spots almost completely clouded my vision. Instinctively, I sat down on the floor. I was used to fainting due to my low blood pressure. My vision cleared, and I stood up and walked out of the room.

Ant was sitting on the couch in the living room, looking at his phone.

"You took SO long!" He said in a whinny voice, though he was grinning. His eyes crinkled in the cutest way possible. I rolled my eyes and walked to the kitchen, opening the fridge.

"No no no no." He took my hands in his and pulled me away from the fridge, kicking the door closed. I raised my eyebrow at him. "We're going out to breakfast, remember?" He pulled me outside and into a cab.

"Where're we going?" I asked curiously, turning in my seat to face him. He shrugged.

"You'll see." I half-glared, half-smiled at him.

"Come on!!!" I whined. I poked him in the shoulder repeatedly like a little child. "Tell me. Tell me. Tell me. Tell me. Tell me."

"No," he said in a tone laced with fake anger. I continued to annoy him, moving my pokes from his shoulder to his cheek to his nose. He crossed his eyes to watch my finger, smiling and blushing slightly.

"Where are we going?" I repeated over and over, "Where are we going? Where are we going? Where? Where? Where? Where? Where?" He knocked my hand away.

"You're so annoying," Anthony joked.

"You love me," I stated. His blush darkened.

We arrived at a nice little diner that I had never been to, but Anthony seemed to know very well. As soon as we walked in, he grabbed my hand and led me through the kitchen and into a small room that seemed to be a break room.

"What're we doing here?" I asked, laughing. He shushed me and dragged me through yet another door. The next room was kinda small, with only space for one small table and two chairs. "What's this?"

"I know you're going through a kinda hard time right now so I thought you might like a bit of privacy for breakfast, and I can't cook, like at all, so I brought you here and," He rambled, rubbing the back of his neck. "I know the owner so I got her to let us eat in here and-" I interrupted him by wrapping him in an embrace.

"Thanks, Ant," I whispered, tightening my hold on him. Butterflies fluttered rapidly in my stomach, but I ignored them, opting to instead focus on the moment I was sharing with my friend.

We split apart, sat down, and almost immediately started chatting about random shit.

Our food came after a while and we allowed the room to fall into a relatively comfortable silence. Thankfully, we went through the whole evening without any mention of Noah.

"Ready to leave?" He asked. I nodded and smiled as he led me out of the restaurant.

The wind blew strongly, causing me to wrap my thin sweatshirt tighter around myself. Anthony looked at me with concern.

"Here," he said. He grabbed my shoulder to stop me and pulled off his jacket. "I have an extra," he interrupted when I made a move to protest. He wrapped the jacket around my shoulders and dug through his bag until he found one that seemed to be much thinner.

"Thanks," I said, smiling and bumping into him lightly. We finished the walk to the theater in a comfortable silence. Just the presence of Anthony seemed to chase away any bad memories or feelings about Noah.

"How you doing Jazzy?" Pippa asked with pity in her voice once we arrived at the theater. I smiled brightly.

"Good!" And I wasn't lying. Noah had completely left my mind.

"Ok full sing through. No interruptions. LET'S GO, PEOPLE!!" Lin yelled while running through the halls of the theater. "FIVE MINUTES!!"

Everyone who had a part in the song stood on the right of the stage while the rest of us waited on the left for our songs.

My vision suddenly blurred again as the opening notes for Aaron Burr, Sir started. I grabbed onto Pippa's shoulder.

"You good Jazzy?" She asked, reaching for my other arm to steady me. I waited until her face became visible and nodded.

"Yeah. Just not feeling great today." She looked at me with concern but allowed me to pull away from her hold.

The rehearsal went well. We all tried to go as long as we could without looking at the words, though most of us failed pretty quickly. Soon it was time for Say No To This.

"Is it okay if we kiss this time? You know, to get used to it?" Lin asked as the dark music started. I nodded. I wasn't surprised. He did the same with Pippa.

We got through the beginning of the song without any interruptions.

"Then her mouth is on mine and I don't say-"

Lin's mouth connected with mine exactly on cue and we pulled away right when we were supposed to. No extra feelings.

I glanced at the people who weren't in the song. Most people weren't paying attention, chatting in a low whisper among each other. I did, however, lock eyes with Anthony. He appeared to be glaring at Lin before he glanced at me and plastered on a smile and gave me a thumbs up.

----

"Who tells your story?" We finished the last line. Although the notes and harmonies still needed some work, we did get all the way through. We all cheered and broke out into thunderous applause, congratulating each other. I did my best to participate in the joy, but I got a terrible headache during the rehearsal so I ended up standing in the corner, clutching my head. Eventually, the pain subsided enough that I was able to ignore it and join in the celebration.

"Umm... that's all I had scheduled for today so have the rest of the day off," Lin shouted over our chatter. I talked to Pippa as we headed towards our dressing room. I felt strong arms wrap around my waist.

"You did so good!" The person holding me exclaimed. I quickly recognized that the person was Anthony and laughed loudly as he picked me up and spun me in a circle.

"Thanks so did you!" I said after he set me down. I spun around to face him and blushed when I realized his hands were still resting on my hips. Pippa cleared her throat loudly, causing Anthony to jump away from me.

"We're going to Oak's place," Anthony mumbled, rubbing the back of his neck, "you guys can come if you want. Pizza. Movie."

"Sure," Pippa responded. She grabbed Renée's hand and dragged her to where Oak and Daveed were standing, Anthony and I following close behind.

"Gentlemen, let's go," Pippa said as she walked out of the front door. Oak and Daveed laughed at her terrible use of a quote and followed her. Renée sighed exasperatedly and walked out with them.

"Idiots," Anthony mumbled under his breath, causing me to start giggling uncontrollably. Anthony raised his eyebrows at me while I bent over with laughter. He began lightly chuckling, and soon we were both laughing so hard and loud that Renée and Daveed turned around to see what was going on.

"Sorry," I shouted through the giggles. They both shrugged and continued to walk down the street to Oak's house.

We arrived at his house, and as soon as I caught sight of his living room, I sprinted in and spread myself over the couch. Pippa followed my lead and laid down on the other half of the sectional. Renée speed-walked to the recliner and sat down.

Oak and Daveed approached Pippa and easily wrestled her onto the floor, sitting on the couch in her place. Pippa got up, brushed off her clothes, and squeezed into the small space between them.

Anthony approached me with a small smile on his face, raising one eyebrow.

"Move," he said with a dominating tone that made my throat go dry and my entire body grow hot. I swallowed nervously but put on my best smile.

"Umm... no thanks," I said, pretending to think about the decision before making it. Anthony smirked and slid his arms under my body, easily picking me up.

"Put. Me. Down," I said, pounding lightly on his chest as he set me down on the couch so I was sitting upright and only occupying a small space of the sofa.

Oak turned on The Devil Wear's Prada, thanks to me. I almost immediately got a text from Pippa.

WORK!

cinnamonrol: OMG JAZZY YOU WERE TOTALLY FLIRTING WITH ANTHONY

jazzyj: I was not!

mommaren: Yeah. Sure.

cinnamonrol: You like him!!!!!!!!

jazzyj: Shut up he's sitting right next to me!

cinnamonrol: You aren't denying it

I rolled my eyes and shot a glare at my friends. I turned off my phone and put it in my pocket. Pippa and Renee shot me evil looks from across the room and I felt my phone buzz a few times before it went silent.

----

"Jas! Come on!" Ant shouted, sticking his head back inside Oak's apartment. I bounded into the hallway, hugged Pippa, and followed Ant down the hall and out of Oak's building.

"You must be freezing," Ant said, noticing that I was hunched over, rubbing my arms and shivering. He draped the jacket he was carrying over my shoulders and put his arm around me in an attempt to warm me up.

"Thanks, Ant," I mumbled, leaning into his side.

We got to Ant's apartment. I was feeling worse than ever. I said a short excuse to Anthony about needing a shower for some reason and stumbled into the guest room. I stripped quickly and got under the cold water.

Why do I feel so terrible?? Before I could even register what was happening, my vision went completely dark and I fell limp unto the shower floor.

Anthony's POV

I heard a loud bump coming from Jas's room and immediately jumped up from the couch. I sprinted to the door of the guest bedroom and held my ear up against it.

"Jas?" I called, unable to keep the worried tone out of my voice. "Jas are you okay?" No response.

"Jas I'm coming in. I promise I'll cover my eyes." I burst through the door and ran to her bathroom. Shielding my eyes but peaking out under them, I quickly made my way into the bathroom.

Slowly, I uncovered my eyes to reveal the sight of Jasmine laying, seemingly unconscious, on the floor of the shower. The shower rod and curtain were draped over her and the water was cascading over the entire scene.

I immediately sprung into action, grabbing a towel under the sink and shutting off the water. I tore the shower curtain away from her, wrapped her in the cloth, picked her up, and carried her out of the bathroom.

I quickly decided against getting her bed wet and carried her to my room. I gently set her on the bed and ran out to get painkillers.

Jasmine's POV

The instant pain that stabbed at my brain when I woke made me wish that I had just stayed sleeping.

I tried to sit up but someone guided me back down and shushed me.

"Who are you?" I mumbled, my eyes still shut. I opened them slowly to see an unnaturally bright light shining around Ant's angelic face.

I mean, completely normal. Nothing like an angel.

Anyways, Ant's eyebrows were furrowed with deep concern and slight distress.

"Do you not remember me?" He asked, the sadness clearly evident in his voice.

"No. No. Ant, I know who you are," I muttered, blinking frequently at the blinding glare. He breathed a small smile of relief, "I'm just a little disoriented. What happened?"

"You must've blacked out in the shower. You want painkillers?" I started to nod but quickly stopped when the throbbing pain in my head increased. He understood and grabbed painkillers and a glass of water off the bedside table and shoved them both in my hands. I thankfully took them.

"Thanks, Ant," I whispered. I suddenly realized that I was naked, with only a thin towel and Anthony's comforter to cover me. "Hey... would you mind grabbing an outfit from my room?"

He blushed and nodded, "Ye-yeah. Yeah," He hopped off the bed and rushed out of the room.

"Here you go!" He announced when he returned. He threw the clothes on the bed and I flashed him a grateful smile.

"Thanks again Ant," I mumbled. He sat back on the bed.

"Night Jas," He ran his hand through my hair, which I was too tired to recognize as anything other than normal behavior.

Then he kissed me.

On the forehead.

My eyes widened. But I smiled at him. He blushed bright red, mumbled something, and quickly left the room. I grinned at the door that he just went through. He's cute when he gets flustered.

Despite how tired I was, I stayed up another hour daydreaming before I finally drifted off to sleep.

A/N Gosh I'm tired. Ok here's a ton of cringy random fluff. HAPPY LABOR DAY. If you see any mistakes please tell me so I can change it.
