Anthony's POV

T/w violence and swears

"You sure you wanna come because with Pippa I'm pretty sure we can handle it." I asked Jas. Today was our second attempt at getting her stuff from Noah's stuff.

"No I'm coming." She said. I smiled and grabbed her hand. We walked to the door and down to the street. There we met Lin, Pippa, Groff, and Steph.

"LOOK AT THE JANTHONY CUTENESS!!!!" Pippa screamed. We both rolled our eyes.

"It's been a week guys!" I said. Lin chuckled.

"That doesn't make it any less cute." He said. We laughed but soon remembered the solemn task at hand.

Jas and I walked in front, swinging our hands back and forth. I saw a bright light flash and looked back to see that Lin had taken a picture. Jas didn't seem to notice.

I gave Lin a death stare. He shrugged and tapped some things on his phone. I felt a few buzzes in my pocket and checked my phone to see some texts on our group chat.

I rolled my eyes and smiled at Jas who was also looking at the messages. She grinned and grabbed my hand again.

The six of us approached Jasmine's old building. I wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her close to me as we climbed the stairs. We got to the door. Lin took his normal leadership position.

"Jas and Ant you guys will be there when he answers the door." He the reached over and separated us. "No touching!" We nodded though Jas looked at me disappointedly.

"Pippa, Steph, Groff, and I got your backs if you need it. Don't yell. Don't hurt him unless needed." Lin rattled off a couple more rules before he allowed me to knock on the door.

Noah answered. He looked at Jas and I and his expression quickly turned to anger. He took a step closer to me. His breath reeked of alcohol.

"What'd I tell you about being around my girlfriend." He asked. I recalled Lin's advice and did my best to stay calm.

"Jasmine Cephas Jones would like you to know that she is no longer interested in being your girlfriend." I said. My small speech seemed to have only angered him more. He grabbed Jasmine's arm. I saw her wince. Noah then proceeded to pull Jas forcefully toward himself.

"Come on sweetie. I haven't seen you in a while. Give me a kiss." He said. Jas struggled against his hold but he was stronger.

Noah pulled Jas into a kiss. She continued to struggle against him.

I mouthed a "sorry" to Lin. I then proceeded to wrench Jas out of his hold. I punched Noah in the jaw. He fell to the floor, unconscious.

Jas ran up to me and buried her face in my shoulder as she started to cry. I held her with one arm and motioned for everyone else to go into the apartment with the other. They filed in and started to move armfuls of her things down to the street.

"Thanks Ant!" She said through a couple of sniffles. I lifted her chin and smiled at her. Her beautiful, tear-filled eyes broke my heart. I pulled her into a kiss.

I heard a squeak come from the door and I turned to see Groff smiling in the doorway.

"Janthony!!!!" He squealed. Jas and I laughed. Groff turned around and walked back into the apartment. I wiped the rest of her tears and she smiled at me.

"We're done!" Lin said happily after a while. He, Steph, and Groff walked out of the apartment.

"ONE SECOND!!!!" Pippa yelled. I looked in to see her running around the living room, cleaning up beer bottles and bags of chips. She saw the weird looks we were giving her.

"What it was annoying me." Pippa said. I smiled and Lin helped me pick up still unconscious Noah and bring him to his couch.

We walked down to the streets, took all Jasmine's stuff to our apartment, and went to Steph's for a celebration. Jas had calmed down and was happily chatting with the rest of us.

We reached the door and heard loud music. Steph sighed.

"I totally forgot. Mia's having a couple of friends over." Both Jas and I sighed. "We can go somewhere else." She suggested.

"No no no. We'll stay here." Lin said. We walked in.

Mia was sitting on the couch with three other girls.

"STEPH!!!" One yelled. Stephanie awkwardly waved at the group as she set her stuff down. Mia looked at me and whispered something to the other girls. They all started to giggle. I saw Jas clench her fists.

"Ignore them." I whispered to her while I slipped my arm around her waist.

"I don't like them!" She whispered back.

"Jealous!" I responded. Jas smiled, rolled her eyes, and rested her head on my shoulder.

"Am not!" She whispered. I smiled at her lovingly. Pippa and Groff were staring at us and whispering excitedly to each other. Lin whipped out his phone for another picture. Mia stood up and walked over to us.

"So are you guys a thing?" She asked.

"Yep." I replied. I looked at Jas fondly. Mia, however, looked at her with hatred. Her friends did as well.

"Oh...ok" Mia walked off to the bathroom.

After a couple of minutes of our group hanging our in the kitchen and Mia's friends talking in hushed voices, Mia returned.

She was wearing an extremely revealing evening dress. She walked over to us.

"Hey Anthony!" She said.

"Hey Mia." I said. Avoiding looking at her. Jas squeezed my hand.

I continued to talk to Mia. I moved closer to Jas with every advance Mia made. After a while Steph noticed our uncomfortable situation.

"Well the six of us should really be going." Mia and her friends nodded and gave each other a look. Completely ignoring Pippa, Steph, and Jas, one girl went to hug Lin while two went to Groff. They all whispered something into their ears.

"And I'm gay." Groff said while pushing the to girls away. They hugged him again anyway. I turned to Lin and the other girl. She hugged Lin and said something to him.

"Married." He said while pointing to his ring finger. I didn't have time to see what else happened because Mia was already hugging me.

"Dump that musical bitch and you could have this." She said, grinding her hips slightly with the last part. I pushed her away.

"DO NOT TALK ABOUT JASMINE CEPHAS JONES  LIKE THAT!!!" I screamed. Everyone was turned to us.

"I WILL NEVER DATE SOMEONE LIKE YOU!! YOU'RE THE BITCH!!" I yelled. I grabbed Jasmine's hand and pulled her out. Pippa, Steph, Lin, and Groff followed us.

"You didn't have to do that." Jas said after a few minutes of silence. I shook my head. Lin, Groff, and I each described our encounters.

"Wow!" Steph exclaimed. "I need a new roommate." We nodded. We arrived at our apartment and hung out until dinner. We were back to our normal chatty selves by the time we sat on the couch.

Soon everyone left and Jas and I both fell asleep in my arms. There was only one thought in my head as I drifted off.
