Catra's POV

Six years...it's been six years since the war ended. Things have been...great. For a long time I thought I'd never have a peaceful life. But now I'm the happiest I have ever been. I have real friends, and a real family, and...and I have the love of my life, my wife, Adora. We got married two years ago, then last year Sparkles and Bow got married.

"Catra, are you ready?" Adora asked me from another room.

"Yeah!" I answered putting my hair up.

Suddenly, Adora runs up and hugs me from behind.

"Hey, Adora." I said smoothly.

"Hey, yourself." replied Adora kissing my cheek.

Then she grabs my hand and pulls me out the door of our home. Our home...God, I love saying that. The two of us were heading towards the castle of Brightmoon, because Bow and Glimmer had invited us to a special dinner, along with Bow's dads and Micah.

"What do you think Bow's and Glimmer's "big news" is?" Adora asked me.

"Hmmm, I don't know." I shrugged.

"Hehe, maybe Sparkles is pregnant." I joked with a snicker.

When we get into the dining hall, Bow and Glimmer greeted us with a big hug; then Micah, George, and Lance joined in.

"Hey, guys, it's been forever, I missed you!" Bow said.

"We all saw each other three days ago." I said my voice deadpanned.

"I knooowwww, for the best-friend-squad that's foooorrrreveerrrrrr!" Bow whined dramatically.

I fondly roll my eyes at how overly dramatic he's being. After the hug, all of us sit down at the dinner table and eat.

"So, baby-girl, what's this "big news" you've been wanting to tell us?" Micah asked Glimmer.

Her and Bow hold hands and smile at each other, then they smile at the rest of us.

"We're ummm..." Glimmer began.

"PREGNANT, WE'RE PREGNANT!" Bow interrupted unable to contain his excitement.

At the moment they were announcing this, I happened to be drinking something...which resulted in a spittank. Like...holy crap! I can't believe I actually guessed this...correctly! Next, came the earsplitting shrieks of Micah, George, and Lance...wow, I had no idea three grown men could squeal so high pitched. Then they started to sob uncontrollably.

"This is the best day of my life! My baby girl is having a baby!" Micah cried.

"We're gonna be grandpas!" George sobbed.

"*GASP*!!....We're gonna be...the grandpa-squad." Lance gasped.

Then the three of them hug each other in one big group hug and continue to sob hysterically.

"Who needs a baby when these three are blubbering like one." I chuckled.

I look over at my wife and see that her eyes are a little misty.

"Adora? You alright?" I asked her.

"Yeah...it's just...we're gonna be Aunt Adora and Aunt Catra! Isn't this amazing!?" Adora replied hugging me tightly.

Wow...it felt like only yesterday that we were just kids ourselves...and now some of us are having kids. I mean, Spinerella and Netossa have been moms for the past three years, and Mermista and Seahawk adopted a baby six months ago. They adopted because, apparently, Seahawk one time sustained an injury in a boat fire that made him...unable to...reproduce. And now Glimmer is pregnant. This makes me think...are me and Adora ready for...that? For the rest of the night, I was completely lost in my own head.

"Catra, are you okay? You've been quiet." Adora asked as we were getting ready for bed.

"Yeah...I'm fine. I just have a lot on my mind." I told her.

"Tell me about it." Adora said pulling me onto her lap.

"Ummm....well....I was thinking...have you ever considered...having one of those...small creature things?" I said...my brain not functioning AT ALL.

"Do you mean a pet or a kid?" Adora replied, trying to figure out my dumb rambling.

"The second one." I said hiding my face in the crook of her neck.

"Oh...so you want kids?" Adora asked scratching my back, in between my shoulderblades.

"Maybe...I think so....yes." I answered, almost purring from the back scratching.

"Do you?" I ask her.

"Catra...I would love to be moms with you." Adora said pressing a kiss to my ear.

I didn't realize how excited her answer would make me until I tackled Adora down onto the bed hugging her tightly. Adora laughs as she hugs me back. Right now I'm so happy, I'm full on purring...loudly.
