I'm getting ready to leave for Ayo's house. It's already after twelve and Anita, Temi and Bimbo have been texting me nonstop.

I'm buttoning my jeans when my door swings open to reveal Nathan.

"Where are you going?" he asks.

At the same time I ask "What do you want?"

We burst out laughing, we have a habit of laughing anytime we talk at the same time. Just twin sibling things.

"I want to disturb you" he says going through my phone.

"You can disturb me later, I'm going to someone's house"

I apply some lip-gloss, then toss the tube in my purse, I'll need it later.

"Who is bop daddy?" Nathan asks me.

That's Ayo.

"Why are you asking?"

I hope he did not read my chats with Ayo because that boy talks nonsense. I don't want lecture from Nathan his lectures are worse than my parents own.

"Whoever it is, is calling you" he hands me my phone and I pick up the call.

"What's up?"

"Bae, where are you?"

Oh dman, he sounds so impatient.

"I'm at my house"

"I've been calling why didn't you pick up?"

"I forgot, I put my phone on silent. Sorry"

"Fashy that and sha be fast"

"Is there a problem, why are you rushing me?"

"Zahrah is killing me, I told her you were coming"

"Is that why she's making noise in the background, I'll be there soon"

"Hurry up oo, this her cry is vexing everybody"

"See you soon bae" he says then he hangs up.

Aaron's P.O.V

I hear her before I see her. Her voice that could calm the most turbulent seas.

"Zahrah"!! Naomi screams from downstairs.

"She has finally come" Ayo sighs.

I laugh to myself, Zahrah is Ayo's very hyperactive baby sister and she obviously loves Naomi. Since Ayo said Naomi is coming over we haven't had a second of silence.

"So you've been waiting?" Temi asks him.

This girl, she likes problem too much. Always looking for the latest couple in town. Note; her definition of couple any boy or girl that have spending too much time together.

"Yes, that's what everyone has been doing" Ayo snaps.

Eyah, the guy is frustrated. I don't blame him though Zahrah's cry can make a person to run mad.

"You know what she means" Tyrone says winking.

Ayo sends a deadly glare his way which Tyrone ignores completely. Tyrone is another trouble maker in this circle.

"I'm here everybody"

In that second, can I just say everything stopped.

Naomi made her presence very clear as she stepped into the room, looking as radiant and beautiful as ever you can't help but stare.

Her virgin hair full and luscious shone brightly showing that she wasn't stingy when applying hair cream, her skin literally glowed sun kissed would describe it perfectly, her full glossy lips formed a beautiful smile.

God, she's taking my breath away!

She's carrying Ayo's baby sister Zahrah in her arms and she looks so beautiful right now the way she's looking at Zahrah with so much affection.

"Why you dey make noise, you don come, what should we na do?" Bimbo hisses.

All hail Bimbo the drama queen, she's late for everything but she can't stand it when other people show up late.

"Why are you na vexing for me?" Naomi asks as she sits beside Bimbo.

Her carefreeness, the way she bounces on the bed, wraps her hand around Bimbo playfully everything is just magical.

"You're staring" Tyrone whispers to me.

I turn to face him with the most ignorant face I can muster up but he knows me too well, that doesn't mean I won't try and play dumb.

"What are you talking about dude?"

He smiles his all knowing smile shaking his head dramatically "I'll soon catch you again"

"Move away from me" Bimbo says.

"I brought jollof rice for you" Naomi says giving her a plastic bowl full of Jollof rice.

Bimbo and food, it's Jehovah God that'll help her because they'll use food to this girl something.

"I'm taking it oo, but that does not mean I forgive you" Bimbo says but she's smiling.

Knowing my cousin the way I do she wasn't even angry in this first place just seeking attention as usual.

"But seriously though we were all waiting for you, we all deserve Jollof rice" Anita says.

"I brought for everybody, Bimbo's own is just special" Naomi chirps excitedly.

"Where is it na?" Temi asks.

"It is downstairs. Pleas Tyrone go and get it" Naomi says smiling at him.

"Why me?" he asks looking up from his phone.

"Is it because she added please, abeg go and bring it. Lazy child" Anita snaps, ending it with a loud hiss.

Those two always fighting about everything and anything. Anita always starts it. It's like she holds some secret grudge against him.

Tyrone mutters something to himself but he goes to get it.

"We would have left you oo but lover boy did not allow us" Bimbo says with her mouth full.

I turn to look at Bimbo, Is she running mad but I realize she's talking about Ayo not me.

Naomi smiles at him with an apologetic look on her face and he seems to get the message.

"It's fine bae" he says winking at her.

Ayo and Naomi would be a good match but Ayo would never he's not the dating type.

My advice; leave him.

"For you abi?" My subconsciousness mocks.

Would shut up for a sec.

"Our food is here" Temi announces as Tyrone enters the room

"What took you so long?" Anita asks collecting the cooler from him.

"I was talking to Fareedah" he answers.

Fareedah is Ayo's younger sister, she's in SS1. He's the only boy that his mother has, he has five sisters. That's why he's so overprotective about girls.

He is the eldest. I think his trying, I can't imagine having five Bimbos living under my roof. His own sisters are different sha they respect him and call him Brother Sadiq.

Ayo is my best friend. No lies he's a great guy but lately I've been hating on him for spending so much time with Naomi.

Jealousy Aaron control yourself.

They are all eating away, Bimbo gives me some to taste and it's so yummy. Naomi is a great cook, this is not the first time I'm tasting her food. When she brought spaghetti yesterday I tasted it and it was wonderful.

"We should get going now" Tyrone says checking his watch.

"It's true, time is going" I say.

"Brother Sadiq" Faizah says barging into his room.

"What is it?" he asks her.

"Ameenah has been with my power bank since yesterday and she won't give me back" she whines.

"What is na the matter? There is light so charge your phone"

"She's going out with it" she says angrily.

"Give her mine" Naomi says bringing out her power bank from her bag.

"I didn't see you Aunty Adesua" Faizah says giving her a hug.

"You've sha greeted me, take this one and give Ameenah" Naomi says after she pulls away from the hug.

She's so good with children. I wonder how good she'll be with our children. Omo see how far my mind has gone. May God help me.

"Thank you, you're the best" Faizah says as she runs out.

"Have you been here before?" Anita asks her.

"Yes, I've been here twice" she replies curtly.

"They must really like you, they don't warm up to people so easily" Anita mumbles,

"It's because you're not a people person" Tyrone sneers.

"I'm still better off than you they still don't talk to you" Anita says eyeing him.

Oh Lord why does Anita have to be this jealous, they love Tyrone. Always all over him.

"I'm just saying my own" he shrugs going back to his phone.

"Thank you aunty Adesua" Ameenah says as she runs in and gives Naomi a hug.

"You're welcome Ameenah, next time don't be selfish" Naomi says after pulling away.

"Okay, you're the best" she says then she runs off.

"Aunty Adesua" Bimbo says teasing Naomi.

She just gives her a shy smile. I wish she woud give me that smile.

We have biology double period right now and it's so boring. I can't even hear what the man is saying, his voice is so quiet and to make matters worse I came late because the further maths teacher held me back so due to that I'm sitting at the back.

I just want to sleep. I know it's as if the only thing I think of is sleep but it's not my fault the biology lab is cold and we put off the light so everyone can see the ip board, so the environment calls for sleep.

I feel like bringing out my phone to play a game or something. It's allowed here but only during breaks and free periods but students will be students we still sneak and use them during class.

I gave into the temptation, I'm playing candy crush. I know I'm disappointed in myself too.

I get a notification from WhatsApp that I have a text but it's from an unknown number.

I'm in art room with Diane she's practicing her sketches as we both have free periods, she's very good at drawing that's why she chose dyeing and bleaching as her trade subject.

We're becoming friends slowly even though we still have that tension between us.

She's actually a nice person and I enjoy her company no jokes but I won't get to close because Bimbo's warning keeps ringing in my head.

I don't know what she did to them but if it can make bimbo sound and look so serious whatever she did must be a big deal.

"So what's up?" she asks me.

"Nothing much" I reply going through my phone.

My phone aka my best friend is the cause of all my problems according to my mum but in my opinion it's like my personal assistant. Tells me everything I need to no.

"Do you want to go out with me?" she asks.

"What for?" I ask unsure whether I want to go.

I'm such an introvert, I could stay in my room all day everyday it gives utmost joy. I would give anything not to deal with people.

"Just to go out and have fun" she says still focused on her sketch.

Have fun, doesn't sound like a mastermind plan to kidnap and use me for money ritual.

"When are you having the outing?"

"Friday night" she answers eyes not leaving her sketch for even a second.

"Alright, I'll come"

She shouts in excitement which earns us a glare from the Art teacher.

"I'll text you the address by Thursday" she beams.

I get up and sling my bag over my shoulder "It's settled then"

"Where are you going?" she asks.

"Anita just texted me to come and see them immediately"

"Oh alright" she sighs.

Oh damn, she knows how to make me feel bad sha.

"Don't be like that, we are going out on Friday" I say to brighten her mood.
