A/N: So a lot of people were confused yesterday so let me just explain. Naomi lied to Aaron. She didn't tell him that she was staying with Alex because Alex threatened to hurt her family if she did that. Although she doesn't know how true that statement is, she isn't willing to risk it.

For those who were wondering what's up with Aaron and why he didn't ask about Alex. He doesn't probe to deep because that was their first meeting. You know, it might be hard for her to talk about it.

Aaron's P.O.V

I'm sitting in Aunty Lola's parlour waiting for her to come downstairs. Aunty Lola is Bimbo's mum.

She has been taking care of me like her son since my mother passed away when I was just a little boy and I love her very much but these past two years she's been on my neck.

I think you can guess what it's about. It's marriage.

My twin brother is married and has a child.

Bimbo is married with two children.

Bimbo's older brother has married since.

Now they are all claiming it's my turn. That's why I dislike coming to see her nowadays because any conversation we have must turn into counselling.

I see her coming down the stairs and I immediately brace myself for whatever this is about.

Conversations with her always tire me because she makes sure we talk in Yoruba and I'm not too fluent with the language.

"ti o dara owurọ iya I say as she sits down

(Good morning mummy)

"E kaaro ọmọ mi bawo ni o ṣe wa" she says with a smile.

(Good morning my child, how are you?)

"mo wa daadaa" I say.

(I am fine)

She just nods.

"nibo ni arabinrin rẹ wa?" she asks looking around.

(where is your sister)

She's talking about Bimbo, I don't even know where she is. I think she's outside.

"Abimbola wa ni ita pẹlu awọn ọmọ rẹ" I say hopin my uncertainty isn't evident in my voice.

"Abimbola is outside with her children)

"Abimbola"!!!She screams.

Bimbo rushes inside with nini in her arms and Yinka walking behind her.

"o pe mi ni Mama" she says.

(You called me mummy)

"O ko le wa lati ki mi abi" Aunty Lola says.

(You can't come and greet me abi?"

"Ma binu, o kaaro o dara" Bimbo says and can tell she's trying hard not to roll her eyes.

(Sorry ma, good morning)

"Lọ ṣe mi pap" Aunty Lola says to Bimbo.

(Go and make me pap)

"o dara ma" she says then she walks away.

(Okay ma)

Aunty Lola turns to face me and I already know the topic we're about to discuss.

"irun ori mi ti wa ni titan" she says looking at me intently.

(The hair on my head is turning grey)

"Mo ti ṣe akiyesi o ti ro nipa rirọ o" I say and she glares at me.

(I noticed, have you thought of dyeing it?)

"Ọmọ aṣiwere, mo tumọ si pe mo ti darugbo" she says smiling so I know she's just joking about me being foolish.

(Foolish child, i mean i'm getting old)

"mo mo" I say with a sigh

(I know)

"nigba ti a yoo ri iyawo wa" she asks in a calm voice.

(When will we see our wife)

I groan inwardly and rub my temples.

"laipẹ a yoo rii i laipẹ" I say

(soon we will see her soon.)

"bawo ni kete ṣe pẹ to, ni igbati mo ba ku, Kini Ronke ko fẹran rẹ" She says.

"how soon is soon, is it when i die What about Ronke don't you like her"

Ronke is the girl that Aunty Lola has been trying to set me up with for moths now. I've seen her a few times and we just don't click.

"rárá" I say shaking my head.

(No)

"idi ti o ṣẹlẹ si i?" she asks with a raised eyebrow

(Why, what happened to her)

"Ko si nkankan ati i ti ri iyawo ni bayi" I say.

"Nothing and I have found a wife now)

Her eyes are immediately filled with happiness.

"When am I going to meet her?" she asks happily and she spoke English which is quite shocking.

I can't remember the last time I heard her speak English.

"Soon you'll meet her soon" I say with a smile.

"Iwọ ti ṣe inu mi dun gaan loni ọmọ mi Ṣe Ọlọrun bukun fun ọ" she says with a big smile.

(You have made me very happy today my child May God bless you)

"Amin" I say as she gets up.

(Amen)

"Bimbo, iwọ yoo lo gbogbo ayeraye lati ṣe pap abi?" she asks as she makes her way upstairs.

(Bimbo, you will use all eternity to make pap abi)

"Ko si ọkunrin" Bimbo shouts from the kitchen.

(No ma)

I get up and go over to the kitchen and just like I suspected she hasn't even started making the pap.

"You are looking for Aunty Lola's trouble" I say.

"I will make it now it does not take time Yinka said he wanted indomie so I made his food first" she says.

Bimbo actually turned out to be a very good mother much to my surprise. She always puts her kids first in every situation.

My mind wanders back to what I told my aunty, I told her that I had found a wife.

Not suprisingly first person that came to my mind was Naomi. Which is funny considering the fact we're not even dating.

"So you have found wife" Bimbo says teasingly.

"Mind your business jhor, eavesdropper" I say.

"You know doing amebo is my greatest talent. Anyhoo, are we still going to meet Naomi today?" she asks.

I nod affirmative.

Bimbo and Ayo don't believe that I found Naomi they think I'm mad.

After two weeks of trying to convince them that I'm not mad, I decided that we should all meet at my house this afternoon.

It's been two weeks since Naomi and I reunited and it's been great. We spend a lot of time together and I think I want to take things a step further.

"Bimbo can I ask you something" I ask and she turns to face me.

"Sure" she says.

"Would I be rushing things if I asked Naomi to be my girlfriend?" I ask feeling nervous.

"Honestly, you and Naomi's relationship is very special. Every time you drift apart the universe finds a way to bring you back together. Even after ten years you guys are friends again as if it was ten days. So my answer is no, you won't be rushing it" she says with a smile.

"Thanks for that clarification" I say sincerely.

"You are welcome but this doesn't mean I believe you. I won't believe till I see her" she says.

"Whatever, we leave in ten minutes" I say then I walk out of the kitchen.

Naomi's P.O.V

I put my car in reverse and drive out of the compound.

It's been two weeks since I reunited with Aaron and those two weeks have been hella risky.

I have to sneak out of the house as soon as Alex leaves and be back at least an hour before he gets back. I'm paying the gateman and the maid to shut their mouths about it but presently Alex is out of the country for three days so I'm safe.

I'm on my way to Aaron's house, I'm going to see Bimbo and Ayo today and I can't wait.

My phone rings very loudly and the sound is coming from the bag on my lap. I use one hand to search for it as I try my best to focus on the road.

I finally find it, its Aaron calling I pick the call and put it on speaker.

"Hello" I say with happiness lacing my voice.

"Hey, what's up? Where are you?" he asks.

"I'm on my way. I'll be there in like ten minutes" I say.

"Alright, see you then love" he says.

"Bye" I say then I hang up.

I take a turn on my right and driven into the street where the house is located.

I look at the address that he sent to me and it corresponds with the house that I'm currently parked out so I shut off my engine and get down from the car.

The gateman opens the gate for me and I walk in. I ring the doorbell as soon as I get to the front door.

I stand there and wait patiently for someone to open the door. A few minutes later the door is opened by a young looking woman of average height.

"Good afternoon" she says with a smile.

"Good afternoon, I'm here to see Aaron" I say smiling back at her.

"Okay then, come in" she says stepping aside so I can enter.

I walk in and I can't help but stare. It's so beautiful and everything is neatly arranged.

"They're upstairs. The second room on your right" the woman says to me.

"Thank you" I say then I head upstairs.

I locate the room then I knock twice and wait for a response.

"Come in"

"Hey everyone" I say with a smile as soon as I walk in.

They stare at me for what seems like forever. Say something na. As if on cue Bimbo jumps up and wraps me in a bone crushing hug.

"It's really you" she says still hugging me.

I try my best to pull away but Bimbo's hugs are always so tight. I missed that, I missed her.

"Please. Let. Go" I say.

"Sorry about that" she says pulling away.

Ayo comes up and gives me a hug like a normal person. I really missed him. My one and only boy best friend.

"How are we sure this is the real Naomi and not one imposter?" he asks after pulling away.

I mentally face palm. You can always count on Ayo to ask these type of questions.

"It's me, the real Naomi" I say making emphasis on real.

"Abeg, if you don't believe she's real, you can leave. Vibe killer" Bimbo says getting up from where she was sitting.

Bimbo has still not changed. Same smile. Same face. Same attitude.

"Let's leave this people jhor" she says pulling me away.

We walk out of the room and walk down the hall. Then she pauses at one door and opens it then we enter.

There are two kids in the room. A little boy who is watching TV and excitedly singing along and a baby girl who is asleep. They are Bimbo's kids. I can tell.

The girl is just her replica and the boy has her nose. So Bimbo is married with children now. I missed a lot.

"So babe, gist me na" she says crashing on the bed and I seat opposite her.

"There's no gist oo, my life is dry" I say with a chuckle.

"There's nobody's life that can be as dry as mine. I work from home, take care of these two and my husband. That's all" she says.

"What happened to becoming a nurse?" I ask her.

She just hisses.

"My life plan changed jare" she says.

"So what about Anita, Temi, Tyrone, how far them?" I ask with curiosity.

"Anita just ditched all of us after secondary school, I don't even know anything about her again. That's her business sha, not like I need her" she says with a hiss and that earns a laugh from me.

"Tyrone has gone back to America, I still keep in touch with him. Temi is still my friend for life. She doesn't live in Lagos sha. She's in Abuja" she says smiling.

"Why did she leave Lagos?" I ask.

"She's with her husband over there. She don become big man's wife" she says.

"Luck her, you'll give me her number" I say.

"Sure pass your phone" she says with an outstretched hand.

I get it from my bag and give it to her and she saves her number, Temi's number, Tyrone's number and Ayo's number on my phone.

She try oo, she just knows all of their numbers by heart. Well, that's Bimbo for you.

"Hafa you and that big head, also known as Aaron?" she asks winking like one fool.

"This girl, you don't have sense" I say laughing.

"Seriously na, I'm asking serious questing" she says with a whiny voice.

"I don't know for real. We're just friends" I say.

"For now, in six months you'll people will be doing wedding" she says giving me a funny look.

"Sure, no be only wedding" I say hissing playfully.

I missed the girl sha.

"Let's call Temi" she says.

Before I can answer, she's already dialling her number on my phone. She picks up on second ring.

"Hello, this is Mrs Temitope Aariz on the line. Who am I speaking with?" She says.

Wow, she really sounds like big woman.

"Who you dey form accent for? It's me Bimbo" she says.

"I no know say na you, you change your number?" she asks.

She suddenly sound like the Temi I knew a long time ago.

"I didn't I called you with someone's phone. Guess who is with me?" Bimbo asks excitement lacing her voice.

"Who?" Temi asks not even trying.

"You didn't hear guess sebi" Bimbo asks.

"Abeg talk jhor" Temi says with playful hiss.

"Naomi" Bimbo deadpans.

"You're lying" she says clearly not believing Bimbo's statement.

"I swear guy she's here" Bimbo says.

Temi suddenly hangs up. Then she calls back using Facetime.

"Oya let me see her" she says.

Bimbo turs the phone to face me and Temi's eyes widen with shock.

"Naomi"!!!!! She screams. Her voice is so loud.

"Temi"!!! I scream matching her excitement.

"Oh my God, Oh my God. I'm freaking out. How, when, where? I'm coming to Lagos tomorrow" she says in a rush.

"Big man's wife, e no go hard you" I say teasing her.

"Bimbo, you just can't shut up sebi?" Temi says and Bimbo just smiles.

"It's so good to hear from you" I say sincerely.

"I swear, I missed you. Don't worry we'll see tomorrow" she says.

"Are you really coming?" I ask her.

"I'll try. I'll ask my husband" she says with wistful eyes.

"Alright" I say.

"I'll call you back. Give me like fifteen minutes" she says then she hangs up.

"Does she have kids?" I ask Bimbo.

"Nope" Bimbo says.

I'm about to say something when Ayo barges in.

"Aaron wants to see you" he says to me as he sits beside Bimbo.

"Alright, I'll be back" I say then I get up and leave.

I walk over to where we were before and I enter without knocking and I see him staring into space looking handsome as usual.

"What are you thinking about?" I ask.

"You" he says turning to face me ad for some reason I can't stop smiling.

He gets up and walks closer to me.

"I want to ask you a question, is that fine with you?" he asks.

"Sure, ask away" I say. 

"So I have a question. There's this really cute girl that I recently had a very fun time talking with. What do you think, should I ask her out on a date or would that be too direct?" he asks.

I try my best no too let my disappointment show. What did I think? That I was still the centre of his world.

"Sure, you should totally ask her out. She would be very happy" I say.

"You sure?" he asks.

"Like a hundred and one percent sure" I say with a smile.

"Aright, so would you go on a date with me?" he asks.

Holy shit! Did I hear that right?

I look at him and he's staring at me intently as he was waiting to catch his prey. I gulp at the intensity of his stare.

"What's you answer?" he asks taking one step closer to me.

"Yes, I'll go on a date with you" I say shyly.

"Tomorrow at six?" he asks.

I nod affirmative. He's still staring and I suddenly feel naked under his gaze.

"Wht do you want from me Naomi?" he asks and his voice is deeper than usual.

My legs are suddenly weak.

"I want you to kiss me" I say meekly.

Wait what? What the heck did I just say?

He claims my lips and I was too shocked to return his actions. He was kissing me with so much urgency like he had been deprived of this.

I felt his hands go around my waist as he pulled me in deeper. His left hand moved downward and grabbed my ass hard against him.

I gasped at that action and he used that opportunity to sweep his tongue into my mouth and deepen the kiss.

He turned me around so I was backing the door and he used one hand to hold my head upwards as he deepened the kiss. I felt his hand squeeze my breast and I moaned helplessly.

The kiss didn't break. Tongues swirling and fighting for dominance.

"Na talk you still they talk since?" Ayo asks knocking furiously on the door.

I try to pull away but Aaron holds me in place. After much struggle I give up.

"I'll break this door" Ayo says.

Aaron detaches his lips from mine but he's still holding me and not opening the door.

"What do you want?" he asks with that same deep voice that cause my heart to melt.

"You couldn't just control yourself abi? Naomi, Bimbo is calling you" Ayo says.

"She's coming" Aaron retorts.

He doesn't say anything but I heard his footsteps as he left.

"I have to go" I say.

"Alright, but don't forget about tomorrow" he says then he kisses my forehead.

I nod and leave.

"How could I ever forget?"

Sorry, the update came late.😔 Wattpad was giving me issues so i went to sleep out of vex.😅😅

Word count-2,907. This is the longest chapter i have ever written. i was supposed to give a double update but i guess this makes up for it.
