The whole place is packed.

Did this guy invite the whole of Lethbridge?

"Let's go upstairs" Ayo says grabbing my hand.

I follow him up the stairs and we finally get to a room which I believe is Aaron's room.

"Naomi"! Bimbo shouts as I enter.

"You did not see me abi?" Ayo ask sitting on a couch.

"Oh I did" she says as she pulls me into a hug.

"Who are you?" Temi asks with a hiss.

"Help me and ask him" Bimbo says after she pulls away.

Ayo just shakes his head at them and continues going through his phone.

"Where are the birthday boys sef?" Anita asks.

"Boys?" I ask in confusion.

"Aaron has a twin brother" Temi says clearing my confusion.

I just nod without giving a reply.

"They're probably downstairs greeting guests" Bimbo says.

"Why are you guys na upstairs?" I ask.

"It's too crowded down there" Tyrone says.

"Do you want a drink?" Anita asks me.

"Sure" I say.

She passes me a bottle of Fanta and I collect it gladly. Fanta is my favourite drink. I could take it all day, every day.

I finish the bottle of Fanta in a matter of seconds and now I have a sudden urge to pee.

After some seconds of contemplating whether to hold it or not, I speak up.

"Please where's the restroom?" I ask.

"Second to the last door on your left" Bimbo says.

"Thanks" I say getting up.

I follow the directions precisely and I see the toilet in no time.

I finish up my business and wash my hands then I step out.

I'm walking back to the room when I bump into someone.

"I'm so sorry" I say looking up.

I set my eyes on a very handsome looking stranger. He looks like Aaron but a tad fairer, this must be his twin brother. He's tall with broad shoulders and a dashing smile.

"When you're done checking me out, lemme know" he says smirking.

They have the same cocky attitude that's for sure.

"I'm done" I say smiling which earns a toothy grin from him.

"You must be Aaron's girlfriend that Ayo is always telling me about" he says.

"I'm not his girlfriend" I say quickly.

"But you look like the girl in the pictures" he says giving me a closer look.

"I might be the girl but I'm not his girlfriend" I say.

"Oh I know. I'm just messing with ya" he says grinning.

"Very funny" I say sarcastically.

"Sarcasm is a very welcome element" he says.

"Who are you anyway?" I ask.

"He didn't mention me I'm not surprised. I'm Adrien, that idiot's twin brother" he says with a smile.

"It's nice to meet you. Happy birthday" I say smiling.

"Thank you" he says.

We stand there in a very uncomfortable silence. Alright I'm exaggerating it wasn't too uncomfortable.

"Follow me" he says breaking the silence.

He doesn't give me a chance to reply he takes my hand and leads me down the hall and into a room which I presume is his.

"Make yourself comfortable" he says switching on the light.

"I really need to get back to my friends they might be worried" I say.

"Trust they're probably downstairs living their best life" he says.

"Why did you bring me here?" I ask looking around his room.

It's neater than most rooms belonging to boys that I've seen. He arranges everything in a neat manner. I'm sure he never loses anything.

"Do you ever misplace stuff?" I ask.

"What are you talking about?" he ask looking at me oddly.

"Your room is so neat. You're so organized" I say in awe.

"That's one of the traits I took from my mum, neatness. She was a very neat woman" he says smiling.

Wait did he say was

"Yes he did fool" my inner voice mocks

That means she's late.

"I'm sorry for bringing it up" I say looking at the floors.

"It's fine" he says.

After some minutes of silence he speaks up.

"Naomi" he says.

"You know my name?" I ask in unbelief.

"Yeah" he says.

"Go on" I say.

"I know Aaron is an asshole and he has a very high level of stupidity but deep down lies a very fragile human being with a heart of gold" he says.

"Why are you telling me this?" I ask.

"Because I know that you must have given up on him but please don't he has a hard time accepting feeling but once he does he'll be the best thing that ever happened to you" he says.

"If you say so" I say.

"I'm serious don't give up on him" he says in a serious voice.

I'm about to say something when someone bursts into the room.

"Adrien"!

I turn around to see a fair skinned girl. She's average height and a nice body shape and she's beautiful.

"Amarachi" he says smiling at her.

"Everyone is looking for you" she says.

"I was just talking to my friend, I'll be down in a minute" he says.

Amarachi turns to look at me, after some seconds of staring she speaks up.

"You are?" she asks me.

I'm about to say something but Adrien beats me to it.

"She's Aaron's girlfriend" he says smirking at me.

"How did he get someone as pretty as you" she says.

"It must be the juju we use in our family" Adrien says.

"I have to go downstairs" I say getting up.

"See you around" Adrien says.

I close the door and walk back to Aaron's room and I find it empty which means they're downstairs.

I walk down the stairs and try to find them but no such luck everywhere is so crowded and the illumination isnt to good so I can barely see anything.

I give up and go to sit at the bar.

"What can I get you?" the bartender asks.

"Do you have baileys?" I ask.

"Sure, let me get you a cup" he says.

He comes back some seconds later with my cup of baileys, I mumble a thank you and take the drink from him.

I bopping in my seat to the music while sipping my drink. I guess the party isn't too bad.

Time seems to be moving so slowly, I don't know how long I've been here or how many cups of baileys I've drank but what I do know is that I want to hit the dance floor.

I get up and move over to the dance floor. I'm dancing without a care in the world, if only life could be like this drinks, parties, dancing and no problems.

I'm swaying to the beat when I feel someone's hands around my waist.

I struggle out of the grip to face someone who I don't recognize.

"You are an amazing dancer" he say smiling.

"Don't whine me. I'm a bad dancer" I say blushing.

"I'm serious though. You know how to work that waist of yours" he says smirking.

"Oh really?" I ask.

"Really" he says snaking arm around my waist.

The song changes and he leans in then I have sudden urge to pee.

I break out of his grip and run upstairs I locate the toilet as quickly as possible and luckily for me it's vacant.

I finish up my business and wash my hands and head downstairs.

I go back to the dancefloor but my mysterious stranger is gone.

Aaron's P.O.V

I'm so fucking tired, I just want everybody to go to their various houses don't they remember that school is tomorrow.

I haven't even seen Naomi maybe she didn't come. That hurts.

The music is pounding in my ears and I'm having a really bad headache right now. I just need some fresh air in a very quiet vicinity.

I walk outside and head over to the pool as I get closer I see someone sitting there I'm about turn back when I realise its Naomi.

I walk over casually and sit down beside her.

"Hey" I say.

She turns to face me and I can tell that she's slightly drunk.

"What are you doing here?" I ask.

"I came to relax" she says closing her eyes.

"Me too" I say.

The silence is very awkward for me but Naomi doesn't seem to mind.

"I need to take a nap, do you have a free room or something?" she asks.

"You could sleep in my room" I say.

"Oh alright" she says getting up.

She wobbles a bit and I steady her.

"Careful" I say smiling.

I take her hand and lead her through the crowd and up the stairs.

We get to my room and I close the door behind us.

She takes of her shoes and lies down on the bed.

"Are you comfortable?" I ask.

She simply nods.

I'm about to leave when she calls me back.

"Aaron"

I turn to face her, she gets down from the bed and stands in front of me.

"Happy birthday" she says wrapping her arms around my torso.

"Gracias mi querido" I say hugging her back.

"What does that mean?" she asks pulling away.

"Thank you my darling" I say smiling at her.

"I didn't know you speak Spanish" she says.

"I'm not too good. My brother speaks more fluently than me" I say.

"Say something else" she says smiling.

"Realmente me gustas y quiero besarte" I say taking her hands in mine.

"What does that mean?" she asks.

"I really like you and I want to kiss you" I say smirking.

She just smiles shyly.

"Puedo?" I ask.

"I'm guessing that means can I so yes" she says.

I chuckle slightly before leaning in too claim her lips, I deepen the kiss and very soon our tongues are fighting for dominance.

She pulls away first.

"You should get back to your party" she says.

"You're right" I say.

She climbs back into the bed.

"Good night" I say then I place a kiss on her forehead.

I notice a bag on my table and I pick it up to inspect it and I realize it's for Naomi.

I open it and see her pyjamas. This must be her overnight bag for bimbo's sleep over. I'm zipping it up when a book catches my eye.

I bring it out and realize it's her diary. After some second of contemplating I open it she might have stuff about me inside.

I flip through the pages.

"Isn't she too old to have this?" I think to myself

A page catches my eye as she wrote on it with red pen instead of blue like she normally does.

"I wish Alex would just die. He's a monster and a beast. He ruins my life more and more every day. Bastard, fool, idiot!

I'm alone in this problem all by myself drowning in sorrow with no one to turn too.

I'd rather die than continue living this shitty life"

"Aaron"

I drop the book to the floor quickly I turn to see Adrien.

"What do you want?" I ask.

"Ayo is looking for you. He said you should get your ass downstairs now" he says then he leaves.

I put the book back in her bag and head downstairs.

I'm confused, isn't Alex her boyfriend.

Why would she call him names like that?

Something doesn't click.

Phew I'm glad this is over.😌

You can never know the stress it took me to write this chapter. It's funny how i labour for days to write chapters and the you just read it in a couple of minutes.🙄

Who else loves a dude who can speak spanish? I know I do.

I dont even know where to start from this chapter is just somehow. 🙄
