"No please don't do this to me" I say in tears.

He came closer and pulled my shorts down I felt the cold air form the open windows on my exposed skin and it sent shivers up my spine.

"You can't do this Alex, I'll tell my mum" I say.

"If you tell anyone about this I'll kill Nathan" he says.

No not Nathan, I'd rather die than let Nathan lose his life he has done too much for me.

"You won't get away with this" I say.

He just shakes his head at me with a stupid grin plastered on his face.

He'll get away like he does every time. Isnt he tired of this this to me every now and then.

"Alex you are good for nothing idiot, bastard, fool"

"Naomi, Naomi" someone says shaking me violently.

I open my eyes to see Ruth.

"What's the matter?" I ask in confusion.

"I think you were having a bad dream" she says with concern evident in her voice.

"I was, it's one of those things don't worry" I say.

"Are you sure, you kept saying Alex. Did your nightmare have anything to do with him?" she asks.

"No, it must be the Alex in my class" I say quickly.

How I thought of that lie so fast, I don't know. I'm sha grateful.

"Alright, I'm going to shower. Mummy and Daddy are coming back today" she says getting up.

I feel a great sense of relief come over me. Finally, Alex will have to leave me alone now.

"Bye, get ready and come downstairs mummy said we should make jollof rice" she says the she leaves.

I close my eyes and rest my head back on my pillow as soon as she leaves the room.

It's like a cycle on the nights that Alex rapes me, I won't have a nightmare but the days that he doesn't I'll be sure to have one.

My sleep over with Ruth yesterday was so much fun, we ate so much snacks and I drank so much Fanta.

We played games like children we didn't sleep till like 4am. I smile at the memories.

I get up from my bed and head to the bathroom. I brush my teeth and bathe in no time at all.

When I come out of the bathroom I decide to check myself out in the mirror and what I see horrifies me.

I have lost so much weight. I'm not surprised as I can't remember the last time I ate real food, it's mostly plantain chips or chin chin.

I knew I would lose weight as those pills don't sit well with the food in my system.

If I take them and I eat as much food as I would love to, I'll end up throwing up.

So I either eat little portion or I don't eat at all.

Not everyone experience nausea when they take this drug but I'm one of the unlucky people who do.

I towel dry my body and put on my clothes then I head downstairs.

"They're here" Ruth says running to the door.

That girl has been staring outside for the past hour just so she can know when they arrive.

I hear her open the door.

I walk over and see them standing there.

"Ob'okhain" I say greeting them.

"How are you?" My dad asks me.

"I'm fine" I say.

"Nathan, Moses. We will come and greet you sebi?" My mum asks shouting at the top of her voice.

"No ma"!! They shout back in unison.

Some seconds later they run down the stairs.

"Take our bags to our rooms" she says to them as she walks off to the kitchen.

Ruth and I quickly follow behind her.

"Good girls, you prepared the jollof rice" my mum says as she opens the pot.

"I did most of the work" Ruth says.

"Sure" I say sarcastically.

"I know you did dear. Naomi is extremely lazy" my mum says smiling at me so I know she's only joking.

"Let me set the table" I say walking to the dining room.

I'm almost done setting it when Ruth comes in with the food.

"Come down for luch" My mum calls out.

In no time at all the boys appear in the dining room. Those two boys eehn they use food to them something.

My dad comes down some minutes after them and takes his seat.

"Naomi pray for us" my mum says.

I say a short prayer and then we dig in.

"Where is Alex?" My dad asks after some minutes of silence.

"He went out" Nathan says.

My dad just gives a nod as a response

"Moses, you'll be going back to school on Tuesday" my mum says.

"Okay ma" he says with his mouthful.

"Swallow before you talk" my dad says with a stern look.

I didn't even realize that today was Sunday.

Meaning school was starting again tomorrow. Yay, I'm super happy about that.

"Naomi, you've barely eaten anything" my mum says staring at my plate.

"I had a heavy breakfast" I say.

"Which heavy breakfast, you didn't eat anything this morning" Ruth says staring at me oddly.

I give a hard pinch under the table.

"Oww"! She shrieks.

"I had breakfast but I ate alone" I say giving Ruth a stern look.

I walk into my empty classroom, I'm the first person to get to school not that I'm surprised.

I go over to my seat and rest my head on my desk.

I've barely rested for a minute when someone shouts my name.

"Naomi"!!

I look up and see Anita, I wave to her and she waves back.

"You too like sleep, you no dey sleep for house?" she asks sitting beside me.

If only you knew

"Sometimes, I always sleep late" I say with a yawn.

"Chai" She says taking my bag.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

"I'm stealing your snacks" she says in a duh tone.

I roll my eyes at her we all have that one friend that can't stop taking our food or snacks.

"Wake me up, when teacher comes" I say putting my head back on my desk.

I'm sleeping peacefully until someone screams in my ear.

"Naomi"!!!

I turn to face Ayo who is grinning foolishly.

"Are you high?" I ask shooting him a glare.

"Nope" he says with the foolish grin still on his face.

"What do you want?" I ask rubbing my ear.

"Nothing, I just came to say hi" he says smiling.

"You have said it, you can go" I say with a hiss.

"Don't act like you don't love me" he says and I scoff at that.

"I came to tell you about Aaron's birthday party" he says.

"What about it?" I ask.

"I wanted to know if you're coming" He says.

"I didn't even know about it" I say.

"I know Bimbo wanted to tell you but I beat her to it" he says grinning.

"Cool. When is it?" I ask.

"Saturday evening at their place" he says.

"Are you going?" I ask.

"Obviously, I'm his best friend" he says emphasizing the best.

"Will you come and pick me up?" I ask him.

If I don't my mum might say Alex should drop me and I don't want that.

"Sure thing babe" he says.

"Thanks" I say with a smile.

The bell rings to signify Assembly time.

"I have to go and tell students to move out for assembly" he says getting up.

Prefect duties.

"Alright" I say then he leaves.

I'm going for assembly when Bimbo rushes in.

"I'm inviting you for Aaron's party" she says panting.

"Ayo already did" I say with a chuckle.

Alex P.O.V

Everything that happened yesterday at the party was planned except the pat where Diane was on the floor.

It was meant to happen but we'd be feigning it but she provoked me saying that my foolish plan isnt working that Aaron isn't into her.

Last time I checked this plan has nothing to do with her it's all about my Naomi.

Naomi came in and saw us then I had to go and look for Aaron and I called Diane and kept her phone so I could her the conversation.

As soon as she asked the question I told Aaron to go in since he was looking for Diane or something like that.

I thought it wouldn't work after Diane said the plan was foolish my insecurities piped in.

When I saw Naomi run out, I knew it must've worked perfectly.
