I'm in the library reading I have a biology test after break and I barely read last night. I haven't really talked to Naomi since the incident at her house.

I just hope doesn't think I used her or something because I really like her. I'm just trying to figure stuff out.

I'm cramming definitions when I sense someone beside me, I turn to face Diane, she hasn't said anything to me but I plan to ignore when she does.

"Aaron" she says tapping me continuously.

I'm ignoring her but the taping is disturbing my concentration so I can't exactly learn my definitions.

"What?" I ask glaring at her.

"We need to talk" she says and I sense the urgency in her voice.

"We don't need to talk about anything" 

"It's about Naomi" she says.

I close my textbook immediately, I'd stop anything to hear something about Naomi.

"What's the matter with Naomi?" I ask her.

"She doesn't like you and she's only going to break your heart" she says.

"She never said she liked me" I say

"But you like her and she's not the right girl for you, she'll break your heart" she says with a serious face.

"Who is na the right girl, you sebi?" I ask her.

"Any girl that's not Naomi" she says.

"I used to wonder if you were mentally unstable but this confirms it. Please inform me while you're here bad mouthing Naomi who even managed to be your friend" I say in anger.

"She has a boyfriend" 

It feels like someone dropped a bomb on my chest, my head is spinning and the walls feel like they are closing in on me.

"What?" I ask unsure of what I just heard.

"Naomi has a boyfriend" she say louder and slower.

"Like I said it is today I confirmed your mental instability, if you have nothing sensible to say, get out" I say going back to my book.

What an incompetent waste of time, she came here to feed me false information about my Naomi, she's a fool to think I'd just believe her because this is Zee world sebi. Nonsense.

"I'm serious he's name is Alex and I met him yesterday" she says.

She goes on to narrate how she met Alex and what he told her yesterday. Unfortunately for her she just wasted her saliva because I don't believe a single bit of it.

"You can go now, I have heard you"

"I'm serious" she whines.

"Where is proof?" I ask her.

She shocks me when she brings out her phone and shows me some pictures.

I look through the pictures and they are screenshots of Naomi and Alex chats and they indeed chat like a couple, she literally sends a heart emoji at the end of every text.

I look further and I see pictures of Naomi and Alex together, apparently he knows her family because there are pictures of him with her brother and her mum.

This is unbelievable, I can't believe she lied to me and I was actually beginning to accept what I was feeling for her and she fucking lied to me.

I feel like such a fool.

I hand her back her phone and she collects and I can't help but notice pity in her eyes.

"But she never exactly said she didn't have a boyfriend and you never asked" my inner voice says.

"She could have mentioned it" I say to it.

"You can leave" I say.

"Why should I go?" she asks.

"Let me save you the stress, I'm leaving" I say then I get up and leave the library.

Naomi's P.O.V

That biology test was too frigging hard today, I'm still having headache because of it.

I go to my room and take off my uniform and then I head over to the bathroom and take a very long shower.

I step out of the shower feeling a thousand times better. I'm buttoning my shorts when I hear a knock on my door.

"Come in"

My door opens to reveal Ruth. When did this one learn manners?

"What do you want?" I ask her.

"I have a date" she say not making eye contact.

"What should I do?" I asks her.

"I need your help to get ready" she says giving me a shy smile.

I've always wanted a little sister I could help get ready for dates. I just didn't think my little sister would be my stepsister but such is life,

"Sure, where are you guys going?" I ask her.

"The movies" she says.

I smile at that, typical first date idea.

"Let's go to your room" I say.

We head over to her room she tells me about the boy she's going on a date while I look through the mess she calls a wardrobe for something she can wear.

I get her high waist black jeans and a white long sleeved free crop top and I lend her my black and white Vans.

I give it to her to put on and she agrees when she steps out she looks really good in the outfit.

I tell her to sit at her dressing table and I work my magic with her hair and makeup and by the time I'm done I won't lie I did a good job.

"Thank you so much" she says smiling at her reflection in the mirror.

"You're welcome" I say.

I follow her downstairs and take some pictures of her.

We go outside and take more but her crush comes so we have to stop.

"Make sure you tell me everything when you get back" I say.

"Sure, I won't spare any detail. Thanks" she says then she runs off.

I might actually get along with Ruth. Who would've thought?

I'm watching a movie on my laptop, when my door opens to reveal Ruth who is grinning ear to ear like an idiot.

For the first time since she got here I'm not mad that she barged into my room.

"How was it?" I ask putting away my laptop.

"Amazing" she says sitting beside me.

"Was he nice? Was he romantic? What movie did you watch? Did he know all your favourite snacks? Did you guys kiss?" I ask eagerly.

"One question at a time, which one should I answer?" she asks smiling.

"All of them" I say.

"Yes he was super nice, he was very romantic, we watched a rom com, yes he knew some of my favourite snacks and yes we kissed" she says blushing.

"It was a good first date" I say it's more of a question than a statement.

"It was a good date but it wasn't the first" she says

"Oh really, I thought it was" I say.

"Well it wasn't and guess what" she says smiling.

This one she's smiling so much, it must be really good news.

"What?" I ask.

"We're dating now" she says.

"Oh my God he asked you to be his girlfriend" I say. It's a question rather than a statement.

"Duh, she said their dating meaning he asked her to be his girlfriend" my inner voice mocks.

"Shut it" 

"Yup, he did. I was so excited, I screamed" she says blushing.

We squeal in happiness. What a sisterly moment, I never saw this day coming.

"I'm so happy for you" I say.

"So what's up with you and Aaron?" she asks.

"How'd you know about him?" I ask.

"Don't answer a question with a question" she says wagging her finger at me.

"Answer me jare" I say.

"Let me just tell you, Moses and I caught you kissing Aaron but we opened the quietly we were planning to prank you but we saw that so I went to call Nathan and you know what went down" she explains.

I groan in embarrassment, so all my siblings saw me and Aaron.

"I'm meant to strangle you sef, why did you call Nathan?" I ask her.

"I didn't know he would vex like that. I just wanted him to see so we could all tease you" she says.

"I'm still going to kill you" I say.

I get up and chase her round my room then she runs out I chase her down the hallway and back then she enters her room and locks the door.

"Remember, we live in the same house" I shout as I go back to my room.

I go back to my room and lie down on my bed I'm closing my eyes when my door is opens and Alex walks in smirking at me.

"What do you want?" I ask.

"You're so rude. Why can't you be like hey Alex what's up?" he asks sitting beside me.

I get up immediately.

"Because I fucking hate you" I say

"You hate me?" he asks.

"Yes I do, get out of my room" I shout.

"Be quiet" he says getting up moving towards me.

"If you come any closer, you'll regret it" I say mustering up courage.

"You look more beautiful than the last time I saw you. You've grown, very soon you'll be a woman" he says smirking as he takes a step closer to me.

"If you dare touch me, I'll tell my father you bastard" I say and he lets out a laugh.

"I'll tell my father you bastard" he says mimicking me.

He pins me to the walls, I try to struggle out but he was damn strong.

"You and I know that no one will ever believe you love because I am Alex William the good boy who won't hurt a fly" he says laughing sarcastically.

"Why can't you get a girlfriend or something you're fucking twenty-two years old" I say still struggling.

"I can't get a girlfriend because I want you and it's only a matter of time before I get you" he says.

I gulp what does he mean by that.

He stares at me directly in my eyes before pressing a kiss to my jawline which earns him a very hard kick in the shin from me.

"Oww" he says pulling away.

"Get out" I say pointing to the door.

"You think I'm dumb, I'm obviously not going to try that when we've got company but it's only a matter of time dear" he says.

Then he leaves my room.

I sit on the floor and cry my eyes out.

Who can I tell?

Who will believe me?

How will I say it?

How will I prove it?

He keeps saying it's only a matter of time, what does he mean by that statement?

These are the questions that are on my mind, it's hopeless. No one would ever believe that Alex William would do such a thing.

I'm on my own in this case.

I climb into my bed, cover up then I cry myself to sleep.
