Aaron's P.O.V

I just got back from Naomi's house and luckily for me no one is at home. I might go over to bimbo's house, this place feels very lonely.

I go upstairs and head straight to my room as soon as I get there I collapse on my bed.

I didn't even take my jotter, I left it at Naomi's house. Not that I needed it anyway, I understood the physics assignment perfectly.

I just needed to see her and before I knew what was happening I found myself on my way to her house and I knew she would only listen to me if it related to studies or at least I thought.

She just gets me so confused but I'm so happy I saw her today she looked so nice in her bum short and pink crop top. I didn't plan to kiss her but when I saw her today I couldn't help it. I just had to.

I liked it every single part of it until Nathan interrupted us, I still can't wrap my head around the fact that he's her brother. He's probably going to tell her to avoid me.

She's related to Nathan another person that caused the incident.

Someone who I can never forgive.

Why is life so unfair to me?

I'm getting really attached to Naomi but I can't help but wonder,

Am I really ready to forget about the incident?

Am I ready to like someone again?

That incident claimed my heart, my ability to trust and my happiness.

Am I ready to move on and accept Naomi?

Naomi's P.O.V

Nathan is still not talking to me and today is Wednesday, it's been three days and he's ignoring me completely.

Since we were kids Nathan has always been very good at holding a grudge and giving silent treatment not me though I can't fight with him longer than a day.

I swallow my pride and get up from my bed. I have to talk to him.

I walk down the hall with uncertainty in each step, when I get there for the first time in forever I knock on his door before I enter.

I knock thrice and wait for a response.

"Come in"

I open the door as slowly as possible, he looks up at me and then he goes back to his laptop.

I stand awkwardly staring at him while he used his laptop.

"Are you going to stand there forever or are you going to swallow your pride and say something" he says with an edgy voice.

"I'm sorry" I say in an almost whisper.

"What'd you say?" he asks.

"I'm sorry" I say more audibly.

"Why didn't you listen to me?" he asks putting away his laptop.

"I don't know, he just came over so I could help him with his physics homework" I say sitting on his bed.

"What I saw didn't look anything like homework" he says judgingly.

"You weren't meant see that and we were already done with homework" I say shyly.

"I wish I didn't" he says rubbing his temples.

"It wasn't my fault though, he stated it" I say.

"You could have stopped it but no oo, it ws too sweet" he says mockingly.

"It was just a kiss not the end of the world" I say rolling my eyes.

"Na so, I don't want to see him here again" he says sternly.

"Yes sir" I say with emphasis on the sir.

He smiles at that which means we're on good terms now.

"Dou you know that Alex really likes you?" he asks.

I groan inwardly, he was always trying to set me up with Alex and now that Alex is back he is going to start all over again.

I wish I could tell him what Alex did to me but he wouldn't believe me. On too many occasions my mum and Nathan have believed Alex over me.

So it won't make a difference if I tell them Alex used to rape me they'll just believe Alex when he denies it.

"What should I na do?" I ask.

"Give him a chance and stop being so hard on him" he says poking my sides.

Repulsive! I could never give him a chance. God forbid.

"I will try" I say even though I'm lying.

"I know you are lying you're too caught up with that Aaron guy" he says.

I'd rather be with Aaron than Alex any day

"I'm just trying to focus on my studies now rather than boys" 

"Sure" he replies sarcastically which causes me to laugh.

Alex P.O.V

I'm waiting at this restaurant for Diane, I called her here and I just hope she shows up. I have some questions I want to ask her.

I've been waiting here for over twenty minutes maybe she stood me up.

I'm getting ready to leave when I see here and I signal for her to come over and she does.

I order as soon as she sits down, she doesn't even argue when I say I'm paying for the meal.

"Diane, I think you could be of assistance to me" I say.

"Please I don't mean to come off as rude but who are you?" she asks confusion evident on her face.

She really doesn't remember me, I don't blame her though she was drunk.

"I'm Alex we met each other at the club" I say but she doesn't seem to recall her.

So I back up and tell her everything that went down between me and her at the club on Saturday and I watch her eyes widen as I give her more and more information.

I finish my tales and wait for her to say something.

"I'm sorry but I was drunk that night and Naomi is my friend I can't help you get revenge on her" she says getting up but I pull her back down.

"I need your help, I'm Naomi's boyfriend" I say.

I see something flash through her eyes she's interested.

"Naomi never said anything about a boyfriend" she says.

"Maybe she wasn't ready to bring it up" I say but she seems unconvinced.

"I'm her boyfriend, when she lived in Ogun sate we used to date so when she moved to Lagos we decided not to break up" I say.

"So you and Naomi are in a long distance relationship?" she asks.

I nod a yes. I mentally fist bump into the air she's buying it.

"I moved back to Lagos only to come out and find out that she's with Aaron" I say.

"She's not with Aaron" she says firmly.

"Yet. If we don't do something they'll get together" I say.

I fill her in, how he came home yesterday and how Nathan caught him kissing Naomi like his life depended on it and I watch her face get unhappier and unhappier.

"Which one is we? Why am I included?" she asks.

"You want Aaron, I want Naomi. I keep Naomi away from Aaron and you keep Aaron away from her. It's a win win for both of us" I explain

"I'm only doing this for Aaron, I don't plan to hurt Naomi in anyway. She's my friend" she says sternly.

"Sure, I'm not hurting her. I just want my Naomi back" I say.

"Alright, I'll help you. Call me" she says then she gets up.

I hope she's able to turn Aaron against Naomi then she'll become helpless and I'll be able to take full advantage because if I strike now she'll probably run to Aaron and I know he'll do something about me.
