I'm settling down in Lagos. It's such a busy city, everybody is a hustler. I work from home so no matter where I am my work continues.

I'm engrossed in my works when my phone starts ringing heartless by the weekend playing through its speakers.

I get it and check whose calling and to my happiness it's Kunle.

"What's up?" I ask as I pick up.

"She lives in lekki and she attends Lethbridge high" Kunle says.

Wow this is very good information all I need now is her address.

"That's great news but what about her address?" I asks.

"I'm working on it, at least I know she lives in lekki so I'll find it soon" he says.

"Thank you so much guy"

"No problem" he replies then he hangs up.

The happiness I'm feeling right now can't be expressed in words. I'm so close to finding her.

Naomi Adesua Daniels.

She's right at my fingertips. She must have forgotten about me but I never forgot about her not even for a second.

I'll go to the club tonight since its Saturday and I take my day off tomorrow.

I need to celebrate.

Alex and Naomi, will soon be together again.

Naomi's P.O.V

It's Saturday and Diane is in my house, we're actually becoming really close.

She's told me a lot of things about her family and herself, I haven't really told her much about myself but she doesn't mind she said I'll open up when I want too.

"I hope you're keeping your promise oo?" she ask taking a handful of crackers.

"Which promise?" I ask.

"The one about Aaron" she says in a duh tone.

"Oh yeah. Sure I've been keeping it" I say in a very reassuring tone.

I was lying. I haven't been keeping it, I didn't even remember it. Aaron and I chat every day on WhatsApp and we call each other almost every day.

Even though at school you might think we don't even know each other but online we're what people classify as best friends.

"Good because I don't want him to ruin our friendship" she says putting emphasis on him.

"Sure, I need to go and get more crackers" I say getting up.

I pick up the empty bowl and leave the room.

I run down to the kitchen quickly and fill the bowl up with crackers, then I get juice for myself.

I go upstairs as quickly as I can, when I get to my room Diane is standing and she looks like she's leaving.

"What happened? Are you leaving?" I ask placing down the crackers on the table.

"Yes" she says walking towards the door.

"Ahan why?" I ask her.

She turns to face me and the happiness I usually saw in her eyes is replaced with anger and bitterness.

"I didn't know you were a liar" she says angrily.

"I'm not a liar, Diane what are you talking about?" I ask confused.

"You said you were keeping the promise but you weren't, I checked your phone and you call him and text with him all the damn time, I don't even have a problem with that but you had to kiss him. I trusted you Naomi" she says her tearing up at the last part.

Which kain see me finish be this one? Checking my phone without permission.

She even had the audacity to read my chats. Aunty you fuck up there.

"I am keeping my promise I don't have feelings for him"! I say angered by the fact she read my chats.

"Don't raise your voice at me if you kept your promise I wouldn't have had a reason to read them" she shouts back at me.

"I did you said I shouldn't develop feelings and I don't have feelings for him" I shout in frustration.

Arguing with Diane is like arguing with a toddler, you just waste your time and energy.

"You do Naomi, I'm a girl too. I can tell by how you chat with him" she says.

"We're all different people" I say with a sigh.

"You betrayed me" she says and with that she walks out.

I can't believe our friendship has just ended like that. Well that escalated very very very quickly.

I collapse on my bed, I will definitely miss our friendship but I won't apologize because I did nothing wrong.

My phone beeps and I know I have a new text.

I have to think about our friendship,

For now, we can't be friends💔💔

I power off my phone I hope she makes the right decision. I'll miss her if she doesn't.

Mystery P.O.V

I'm at the and as usual it is noisy, crowded and the atmosphere is suffocating not to mention the loud music which is causing me a bad headache.

I move over to the bar section and take a seat, I order a drink.

The barman attends to me quickly, I'm drinking away when a pretty lady takes a seat beside me she looks tipsy, she's beautiful but not as beautiful as my Naomi.

I watch her carefully as she takes cup after cup of vodka, she will have a terrible hangover tomorrow if she continues like this.

"Excuse me miss" I say tapping her.

She turns to me and gives a toothy grin.

"My name is Diane Kingsley but please call me Diane" she says smiling.

"Beautiful name. Please may I know why you're drinking so much?" I ask her taking the cup of vodka in her hand.

"Someone betrayed me" she says with a sigh.

"Do you care to tell me who?" I ask.

"Naomi, beautiful Benin girl, a transfer student to my school with the ability to make anyone fall. She betrayed me" she say a few tears escaping her eyes.

Benin girl, transfer student. My heart stops could it be my Naomi. In this crazy small world we live in it could be her.

"Naomi as in Naomi Adesua Daniels?" I ask in unbelief.

She nods as she dances in her seat to the song that is currently being played.

"Could you tell me more?" I ask probably reeking of desperation.

She does she tells me about some guy that apparently her and Naomi like but Naomi claims not to like him but she knows that Naomi is head over heels for him.

My fists clench in jealously, who is my Naomi falling for?

I ask Diane for her number and she gives it to me.

"I also know Naomi" I tell her.

"Did she betray you too?"

"No, she left me" I say with a pained voice.

"You want revenge?" she asks.

This is probably just the drunk side of her talking no normal person in their right mind would give all this information to a random stranger.

I simply nod.

"I could help" she says slyly.

I don't need or want her help. I can handle Naomi on my own but I agree she might be oh help one day.

I ask her to text me Naomi's number and she does.

"Bye" she says then she gets up and walks off to the dance floor.

I have found you. Naomi, my love.

You'll be seeing me tomorrow.

Naomi's P.O.V

"I'm here now and I'm never leaving" he says with an evil glint in his eyes.

I wake up sweating profusely even though I had an AC that was working quite fine.

I just had another nightmare about him, why do I keep seeing him in my dreams nowadays.

I thought I had lost him for good. Life is just unfair to me.

I get out of bed and walk over to my brother's room, I walk in quietly.

He's sleeping like a baby, I tap him as gently as I can.

He sits up and rubs his eyes.

"What's the matter sis?" he asks half awake.

"I had another nightmare" I say.

His actions surprise me, he wraps me in a big hug and I feel all my fear vanish. I hug him back.

After wat feels like forever, he lets go.

"Are better now?" he asks concern all over his face.

"Yes" I say sincerely.

I wake up the next day in my bed.

Nathan must have carried me here or something. I get down from my bed and walk into the bathroom.

I brush my teeth and wash my face and put on a bra.

I'm laying my bed when I hear my mum's voice.

"Adesua, get downstairs"!! She shouts.

"I'm coming"! I shout back.

I run downstairs and when I get there the person I see there makes me feel shivers down my spine.

"He's going to be staying with us" Nathan says looking really excited.

I'm mortified, I can't believe this maybe it's just another dream.

I give myself a hard pinch but much to my dismay this wasn't a dream.

"Naomi" he says with a bright smile.

"Alex" I say with a forced smile.

It was then it dawned on me that the night of my dreams was the beginning of my reality.
