Chapter 27

(Y/n)'s POV

"Where'd it go? I just had it a second ago...." I sighed as I searched the house for my phone. I looked everywhere, yet it was nowhere to be found.  "Yeobo! I'm home!" I stopped my searching and looked up to see Joshua at the door, taking his shoes off. "Hi." I continued searching as Nana hopped onto the couch in joy since Joshua came home. "What's wrong?" He asked, coming to my side in an instant. "Did I do something wrong?"

*WGM Family*

Ah this boy. He instantly thinks he's done something wrong.

Well I mean wouldn't any guy think that?

N- Yes. Yes every guy would think that.... Jeez no need for that hasty looks.

Seo Jun you've got to learn when to lie. We've talked about this and you missed your opportunity. Next time lie, idiot.

Finally Eric has some common sense.

FINALLY?! EXCUSE ME I HAVE MORE COMMON SENSE THAN ALL OF YOU COMBINED!

Oh dear god....

"What? No you didn't do anything wrong. It's just I've been looking for my phone for at least an hour and I still can't find it." He pet Nana while listening to me and asked where I had looked. "Did you look in the kitchen?" He asked. "Yes I looked in the kitchen."

"The fridge?"

"Why would it be there? I've never left it in the fridge before." He gave me the look and knew that wasn't true. "Okay one time!" I exclaimed, pouting as I stood there. "Go check." We both walked over to the kitchen and he waited on the pillar that held the room up as I opened the fridge. There was my phone, beside the apple juice. "Are you kidding me!"

"I told you." He laughed, walking up to me and holding me in his arms. "I'm the best aren't I? Without me your phone would still be lost." He kissed me on the forehead, and I knew he was smiling. "Thank you..." I can't believe it was in there the whole time and I was completely exhausted from turning the entire house upside down.

"How about we watch Disney movies for the day? Maybe later we can go out and eat if you'd like."

"I'd love that."

We headed over to the couch and grabbed the Disney movies we owned, turning the TV on and watching Disney to our hearts content. Along with High School Musical of course and later on called for chinese takeout.

Around 2 ish we headed out and decided to go shopping. There was a certain store that I wanted to go to, along with a small surprise for Joshua "Help me find something. You're good at that." I exclaimed, searching through racks of clothing in the store we stopped at. "Who told you that? I suck at this stuff." I looked and saw Joshua searching as well with a concentrated look on his face. I found a blue and white dress that I had thought was extremely pretty so I decided to go and try it on. "I'll be right back, I'm going to try this on okay?" I got a nod in return from Joshua who kept looking around.

Joshua's POV

(Y/n) had gone into the dressing room and I continued to search for something she may like. The lady continuously told (Y/n) that the outfits she tried on made her look fat or that they were too plain and looked bad on her. It was always some negative comment and I was getting upset. (Y/n) had gone back into the dressing room to try on something else while I searched.

"That's (Y/n) from A5S1 right?" A woman in a black dress asked, who I assumed was the lady who worked here. "Yes ma'am it is. Do you know her?" I asked. "No but my friend knew her back in High School." She told me, not smiling at all. "Ah." Was all I could say, as there wasn't any way for me to answer. "Is she nice to you? She doesn't seem nice at all. My friend told me she was rude and selfish."

The store was very small and only had two dressing rooms which weren't that far away. I knew (Y/n) could most likely hear what she said but I was shocked. "No. No she's not. She's very kind and I'm thankful to have her as my wife." I told her, putting my arms behind my back, as I stopped searching for clothes and focused my attention on her. "You two aren't good for each other. She just wants attention and money." The lady spat. I wanted to yell terribly but there were cameras around and I didn't want to put up a bad image for (Y/n) or myself.

"Excuse me? Like I said I'm thankful to have her as my wife. Do you know her?" I asked once again but a bit stern as my lips trembled. "N-" "Exactly. You don't know her. So you have no right to speak for her as if you do know her and her intentions. I'd like it if you stopped talking about my wife like that. Please."

(Y/n) came out of the dressing room and put the shirt back on the hanger. "You do know I can hear you in there, right?" The woman, or you know the shopkeeper, leaned on one leg and looked right at her. "Well it's my opinion and I think I'm able to say whatever I want even if you are here."

Neither one of us spoke but the shopkeeper did. "Do you feel offended?" She asked, obviously not caring. "Yes I do."

"Let's ju-" The shopkeeper interrupted me and said, "I thought you couldn't hear us." with a straight face. "That's ridiculous! You guys weren't even that far away and the top is open!" She exclaimed in frustration, pointing at the dressing room. "Let's go." I whispered pulling her aside.

"Look I know you're angry but we're filming right now. There are cameras around. So let's go now and we'll come back and talk later..." I told her quietly, but she was mad. "Just calm down. I promise we'll come back later." "No...No...." She huffed and walked away with me.. "She can't do that! She doesn't know me at all! She doesn't have the right to say that!"

I stopped her once again, holding her hand in mine as I talked, trying to calm her down. "I understand that I do and you're right she doesn't, but (Y/n) there are security cameras and we're filming. We should just leave now a-"

"Please get out."

"Are you kidding me?" (Y/n) looked at her like she was ready to fight, so I put my arm out in front of her. "Look, she's upset because you talked poorly of her. How would you like it if someone said something about you, yet they didn't even know you at all. Would you be okay with that?" I asked calmly. My lips were trembling and I was about to lose it. I could feel my eyes watering as I stood there, not wanting to hear this lady talk about (Y/n) in that way any longer.. "No." Was all she responded with.

"Well that's exactly how she feels."

"Do we even have anything to talk about?" The shopkeeper asked, with no emotion on her face whatsoever. "She's here to buy clothes as a customer. Not to feel bad and get picked at. So goodbye." I put my arm around (Y/n) and we started to head out to leave the store but of course the lady had to say something from her stupid chapped mouth.

"Well I also feel offended."

"You know what.."

"(Y/n) let's go d-" I couldn't grab her fast enough and she ran over to the lady but started laughing. "Surprise!"

"What!?"

-Time Skip-

Turns out that the shopkeeper was actually (Y/n)'s best friend and they both played a trick on me. They wanted to know how I'd act in a situation like the one they pulled and what I'd do.

These girls are going to kill me.

"I thought you were going to punch her!" I exclaimed, wiping my eyes as I felt the tears ready to run down my face. "Oh my gosh don't cry! I'm sorry!" She laughed, hugging me as I sat in the chair next to her eating shaved ice. "Rei said she was sorry. We didn't mean to make you cry." "You guys are so mean to me...." I took another bite of shaved ice and shook my head.

"I promise I'll tell you next time if it's a prank or not."

"You better."
