One

The plane had gone still. Even the engine seemed silent. This was probably in Yoongi's mind, creating the worst possible scenarios in his head; plummeting out of the sky in this giant metal bird; an engine or the kitchen catching alight and spreading into the deck; even the threat of a bomb was another worry.

He released his grip on the seat, his fingers sore from his attempt to dig them into the soft furnishing, and turned his torso to look at the maknae who was sound asleep, resting his head against the plastic window frame, causing his hair to puff up against the wall.

Jimin's head rocked on Suga's  as the plane buffered, making Yoongi grasp hold of anything he could in fear. Jimin woke up with a start, gasping.
"Yoongi!"
Suga didn't relax. He just sat there, pushing his back up against his own chair, shaking. Jimin looked down at his hand, the colour leaving it under Yoongi's grip.
"My hand please."
Suga reluctantly released Jimin's hand from underneath his and took a deep breath.
"Have you had any sleep at all?" asked the boy with newly blonde hair. "You'll be tired tomorrow!"
"It's alright," Suga growled, "I'll get some sleep even-"
The two were cut off by a silence. It wasn't just Yoongi who noticed this time. The chairs didn't vibrate under the engine and the low whirring of the air conditioning had silenced. The metal contraption was still in a moment of time that seemed to last minutes.
The two of them sat there, holding their breaths and surveying the deck of the jet.
Any sign of life had gone - all of the occupants were in deep sleep, as if they had all been drugged. Suga had hoped to see at least one phone's glare in the darkness.

Then they began to plummet. The two could feel the bow of the jet begin to tilt, luggage tumbled from the shelves above and into their laps. There is no word to describe the dread and fear rushing through Yoongi's head.

I am going to die.

They were pushed back against their seats with so much force that that alone could have killed them. A window must have burst further down the plane because a shard of glass caught Suga above his eyebrow, the blood being pushed back by the sheer force of the fall. Yoongi thought that his neck would snap in two if the fall carried on for much longer. The wind rushed through the inside, forcing the two boys to shut their eyes. Jimin began to let out a scream before the pain hit Suga. The weight of a thousand bricks crushed the sides of his head. He began to curse and scream too before the pain stopped and everything went black.
