Amaya was having the worst day. It couldn't get any worse, but now. Now it had. A new person to have to deal with, possibly trouble. She turned and glared into the dark entryway, but the second he stepped out into the light, it was like her anger had been switched off and her pure joy switched on. She ran to him ignoring his wave she grabbed him in her arms.

So this is where the stoy turns into an AU we all know the scene the one where Amaya runs and hugs Gren knocking him off his feet....yeah this is an AU set just after that scene...Fen dosn't interupt them (ugh I so wish he had left them CAN'T HE SEE THE TWO NEED AT LEAST FIVE MINUES ALONE TOGETHER!?)

"Amaya" Gren signed to her, his hand movements faster and fluenter then anyone else Amaya knew. "I missed you. I missed you so, so mutch....not a moment went by when I didn't think of you. Amaya, I think I love you" a wide smile spread across the formerly angry general. She had been so angry, so upset, when she had heard the news of the visitor. She wanted to send them away without looking, but she hadn't. It wasn't the right thing to do, and she was more than glad she had let him in, more than glad she had held him in her arms once again. She noticed someone talking, one of the soldiers. She watched the woman out of the corner of her eye, and lip read what she was saying.

"The generals in love" she interpreted. At first she felt angry, thinking the woman had been eavesdropping on her conversation, but then the next soldier along said,

"How do you know?"

"I can tell it from her eyes. The way she looks at him-"

"It's the way you look at Larry, I get it you love Larry!" At this point Amaya looked away. She focused fully on Gren, he was alive! He was ok! She found herself hugging him again. As the two pulled apart Amaya stared into his eyes, then leaned in and placed her lips on his. She knew the whole standing battalion was watching her. But she also knew Gren was kissing her, and that was all she needed. After they pulled away Grens face was almost as red as his hair, she laughed and told him so, which only made him turn redder. He dived at her, wrapping his arms around her. If Amaya could have heard, she would have heard him yelling in joy, yelling the words; "I'm in love with general Amaya and I don't care who knows it!" As she felt him hold her a memory from a long time ago flashed into her mind. It was just before her sister's wedding, when she had hugged Amaya, signing "no matter who I marry, you will always be my sister, and I'll always be here for you. I'll always love you Amaya" The way Gren held her reminded her so much of Sarai. When she pulled away this time he sighed something to her;

"Amaya are you ok?"

"Yes I'm fine" she said "you're fine, you're alive" Gren smiled.

"I'm so sorry"

"Why?"

"I wasn't by your side while you worried about your nephews, and then to add to that you were worrying about me"

"My nephews! Are they ok!?" Grens face fell. "Gren? Tell me"

"I'm afraid we never found them" Amaya needed no signs to give away what she needed to say.

"No" Gren pulled her into his arms.

"It's ok Amaya" he said, but Amaya couldn't see his lips, so she couldn't hear him "we will find them" as soon as he let go, however, he signed to her what he had said. Then she noticed how sad Gren looked,

"Gren?"

"Hm?"

"What's wrong?"

"Arnt you disappointed in me?"

"Of course not. You're tired, that's all that matters. And like you said we will find them"

"But I didn't try" he replied. Amaya felt her heart jump then sink, felt herself suddenly feeling betrayed. Betrayed by the man she loved.

"No. No this can't be true. You are so perfect, Gren, why would you lie to me?"

"Verin locked me up and sent his children after the princes, I missed you so much the second I got free I came to you" Amaya felt restored in one part, knowing Gren had stayed ever loyal to her, but she also felt anger ignite inside her. It was one thing for Verin to try and take the throne of Katalis, it was one thing to pretend to be good, but it was another to take her man, the person who she couldn't live without, off the mission to save the two things that reminded of her dear late sister, then lock him up and try kill the boys! Or she assumed he was trying to kill the boys.

"I'm going to find them" she sighed,

"Lieutenant Fen, you're in charge here" Gren said tranating her words,

"Gren come with me"

Ok so yeah ik I hav't updates in 60 years.....my freinds destracted me XD and shool too....I have been in school then when I get home my freinds text so I'm like YAY HUMAN INTERACTION XDD.....also one freind has the best dog ever and he is sending me picures of her and I'm like EWRZXTCYVBYUNIM<L
