Chapter 3- Surface
This was it.
They had made it to the surface.
The sudden change in lighting had caught everyone by surprise, but they did it. It was beautiful. Chara had forgotten what the surface looked like, but seeing it again, she saw more beauty in it than ever. Frisk had realy done it. He'd freed the monsters.
CHARA'S POV
It was weird. The timeline would've RESET by now. But it didn't. It kept on, and eventually Toriel, Frisk and I were walking down Mt. Ebott. It was funny how Frisk and I were climbing the mountain the same way we came up, since there was only one stable path. I, of course, had Flowey in my hands. He didn't seem to fond of being in a pot, but I promised him that once we found a place to stay I'd plant him somewhere so he could go around the place freely.
The next week we thought would be hard, but it really wasn't. We had found a city after 3 days of travel. The humans, of course, tried to kill us all. Or at least our monster friends. Yeah, like anyone was in the mood for death right now. Asgore had to explain that we came in peace, that we were no threat. Eventually we were all moved into houses relatively close to each other in a neighborhood not to far outside of the city. Some people who saw the monsters stared at them with hatred and distrust, others in awe. I decided to stay with Toriel and Frisk, seince they were the only ones I could realy trust to NOT kill me while I slept (looking at you, Mr.Punnybones). I put Flowey in the backyard, in a little greenhouse- thingy we had previously bought with the generous offerings of our neighbors, the Karson family. I beleive the family consisted of the Mother, Ana Karson, the father Jake Karson, and their twin daughters, May and Gracie. That family was the first to trust us.
Heck, I was glad anyone trusted us at all.
