"Should we just do a little thing at city hall?" Luke asked. He pulled his fingers through Michael's hair, pushing the damp strands back.
Michael was laying on Luke's chest, his lips leaning down here and there to kiss the big bump. "I don't care." He closed his eyes, the stress of the week taking over his every nerve.
"You never care," he sighed. Luke's hands fell back to his own side, his eyes scanning their ceiling. "Like, I don't want anything big and I doubt I'll be willing to travel far once It is born."
"So we can just, like," Mike yawned, "I don't know. Invite our parents, your siblings, maybe some grandparents. Then, we can have a really tiny ceremony and really tiny reception."
"But I'd wanna invite Ashton."
Michael curled himself closer to Luke, trying to get as much heat as he could. "Okay, invite Ashton, too. I really have no preference." He could feel their baby kicking, the soft pitter patter against Luke's skin. "Does that hurt?"
"Does what hurt?"
"The baby kicking."
Luke shrugged, "I barely feel it anymore." His hands crawled down Michael's back, his fingers feeling over the bumps of his spine. "Let's just get married now."
Michael laughed, burying his cold nose into Luke's side. "Maybe not right now."
"Soon?"
"I was thinking after It is born." Michael closed his eyes, trying to fall asleep once more. Luke was always up for talking well into the morning hours, but Michael wasn't like that. Michael wanted to sleep until the afternoon, not being bothered.
"So, big wedding or small?"
Michael shrugged again. "Whatever you want."
"Mike," he whined. Luke wrapped his arm around Michael, pulling the older man closer.
The brunette readjusted his body to fit around Luke and the bump, he wrapped his arm over Luke, grabbing his hand. His fingers twirled Luke's engagement ring, feeling it slide around his thin finger. "You know me, I'll do anything to make you happy."
"I want you to plan our wedding."
"That seems like a thing for you, though. I'm bad at making decisions." Michael could feel Luke's heartbeat beating, he could feel every breath he took. Michael wasn't able to comprehend how he was able to fall in love with a single human being. The thought of spending the rest of his life with one person didn't scare him like it did only a few years back.
"Okay, true," Luke responded, "At least you pick out your own clothes every morning."
"I do your laundry."
"I tie your tie."
Michael opened his eyes, looking up at Luke. "You are the love of my life."
"I know." He smiled down at his future husband.
