April: Outdoor Experience, Much?
“Dude! The signal here’s awesome!” Lucia exclaimed as it only took three seconds for her facebook page to load.
Ching~! Lucia looked up to see Felix holding his phone just above her surprised and contented-with-the-internet face. “PERFECT!”
“Oi, no fair!” she gasped, hoping it would make Felix delete the unexpected picture.
“Make me, bro~” he replied, pulling out his tongue at her.
“Hmph. Tweet it if you will, I don’t care.” She smiled, giving up and focusing on her—their laptop. “Dude…. Five…. Five…”
“What? Five what?” Felix said, noticing that his girlfriend’s eyes are getting bigger.
“Five hundred and sixty-seven thousand likes!!!” by now, she was fanning herself with her hands, trying to calm herself down. “On my… p-p-page!!”
“Whoa, girl~ Take it easy~! You know only I can make you excited like that ;)” he joked.
“Seriously, though… Ever since I moved here… Everything just… just…. Skyrocketed. Yeah.”
“And with you, it’s the same for me…”
“….. What?”
“Uh, I mean… Well, you get the idea, bro.”
“DUDE! YOU RUINED THE MOMENT~”
“Wha… I’m no good at this, a’ight?!”
The two Youtubers broke into a fit of laughs, reminiscing of how awkward the first day of being together was and how closer than ever they are today. Its just like a fairytale, really. Getting a call—probably as same as getting a Fairy Godmother.

It was getting dark. A good time to pop up the recording app and play a game. The two were inside their tent, hiding from the open and possible nocturnal insects. They laid down on their mattresses, lying on their bellies as the screen illuminated light on their smiling faces.
“I feel a game of Slender coming on, don’t you think?” Felix suggested as the mouse cursor hovered over the Slender logo on the screen.
“Ooh~ Someone’s feeling a bit ball-sy today.”
“Well, we might as well since we’re… in the OUTDOORS….” He said as he emphasizes ‘outdoors’ with his fingers wiggling in front of his face.
“Oh, fine, then. I know where I can find the first two pages. I’ll take direction.” Lucia said, putting her fingers placed on the “W-A-(S)-D” position.
“And when did you learn that? Last time we played, we were wandering for the next 15 minutes..”
“I… learn from my mistakes.”

It wasn’t long before one single push of the ‘F’ button sent Lucia cornered in a bunch of narrow placed trees. She turned off the flashlight since the occasional sounding of the violins and the sudden static made them both jump. She held the shift key, never wanting to let go until she evaded the static sound on the screen.
Sadly, it didn’t and it soon caught up with her, making her shriek. Make that ‘the two of them shriek’. Playing Slender sure took a lot of stress and sanity to start with. They were compromising a less horrific game for now. Something that’ll take the pressure of getting killed away. Happy Wheels time!
Just then, as they waited for the Happy Wheels game to fully load, a twig snapped outside. The two of them jumped at the sound, still sensitive after playing Slender. What if he really is there? Lucia and Felix never believed at the thought of Slenderman’s probability of existence. He just came from a stream of accounts, that’s all. But still, the thought about it could drive someone nuts, yo.
“I’ll check it out.” Felix said, about to get up. Of course, he was the man of this tent. Its in his gender to do so. Lucia grabbed his sleeve, pulling him back, still not seeing the reason why he’d just get up and investigate.
“I’ve watched enough horror movies to know where this is going, bro.” she whispered, hoping it will convince the determined Pewdiepie to stay put and let it pass.
“And I plan to be that moron that lives to be on the sequel.” He whispered back as he immediately takes the chance to quickly rise up and poke his head outside.
She could do nothing but stand up and follow him. If they’ll die, they might as well die together anyway. She found Felix with his hand on his waist, disappointed.
“What was it?” Lucia asked, looking ever so slowly around them.
“Whatever it was, its gone now.” Felix replied, squinting his eyes if he could pinpoint where that thing was.
Then another twig snapped in the opposite direction behind them. By instinct, Lucia grabbed the first thing she could touch for protection, a huge stick. She held it for dear life as she turned around to see what provoked them.
“I’m gonna go check it out.” Felix added as he walked towards the noise.
“No.. No.. Please, don’t. This is the part where they get the first kill in the first 10 minutes of the movie or something.” Lucia pleaded as she held her environment-based weapon. “Let me come with you, then.”
“Then you’ll be just as stupid as I am, Lu.” He said as he takes one look back at her. “’Sides… You’ll be my landmark if I ever get lost or something.”
“Psh.. Landmark. Sure.”
For a few seconds of Pewdie being semi-lost out of her sight, she was close to breaking down. She just wanted to scream out loud for some reason, hoping the thing that kept Felix from coming back will quit it and go away.
“Bro? Felix?” No answer. She could just cry right now, go berserk for all she care. She’s probably just a monster as that thing was. “Oh, God, this is turning out to be like that one custom story in Amnesia…”
‘Come on, Felix… Give me a sign…’ she thought.
Without even knowing it, her tears started to stream down her cheeks, causing her to sniffle occasionally. It would totally give away her cover but there was nothing she can do. It was inevitable. How would you react if the one you love never comes back (maybe not in this situation but in other scenarios too).
Pffffft!
She immediately looked up to see the familiar silhouette of the blonde she was crying over. He wasn’t on the same direction he went to a while ago. It was like he was watching her or something.
“Felix? Is that you?” Lucia said, wiping her tears away.
“Yeah, I’m sorry, its just… Haha… Never thought you could be like this when I’m gone…” he said as he came into her view.
“You bastard! You… You made me worry… A lot.” Lucia said as she dropped the stick and hugged him tightly like he just came from Mars or something.
“I know… Like I said, I’m sorry… Not gonna do it again, I promise..” he whispered as he hugged her back. “Well, found these two guys ghost hunting right beside our camp, you see…”
“Guys?” Lucia managed to say without emitting a sniffle. She looked over to see two teenagers they had never seen before looking sheepishly back at them. They both had cameras, that’s enough proof that they were looking for something that shouldn’t be seen.
“Um, sorry.. We didn’t mean to disturb you or anything…” one of the guys Felix referred to said, scratching his head.
“Yeah, we were just passing by…” his friend replied.
“You see, we got split up with our other group and, well…”
“No, we understand.” Felix said, still tending to Lucia’s almost-emotional breakdown. “You can hang out here till morning, if you like. I’m sure there’s plenty of signal on your phones in the morning, by then.”
“Really?”
“Sure, why not?” Lucia butted in, totally regained composure of the drama.
“Oh, uh, Alexander Corrigan.. Call me Alex.” said the one with a black long-sleeved shirt.
“Lorenzo Hiddleston, nice to meet you.” Said his friend wearing a plaid red and black polo.
“Lucia Rockfort.”
“Felix Kjellberg.”
“I KNEW IT!” Lorenzo exclaimed as he shook Alex by the shoulders.
“Knew what?” Alex asked, dazed from his friend’s shake.
“Its him! Pewdiepie!”
“So… if that’s Pewdiepie… Then that must be….” Alexander said as he finally recognizes the people they actually startled.
Wow, the world really knows the two inseperable gamers.
