Alex POV-

Washington stares. Shocked. And got onto Philip's horse.

"We need buckets!" He yells out.

"I know where they are sir!" I yell running off.

I see Philip hop onto Axel and they both ride off.

I dash to my house and into the basement.

I look around and I found the buckets. I rush back out my house and into the harbor.

I filled the buckets up and ran to mount vernon. I could see it in the distance and already feel the heat.

When I got there. I saw Washington. Standing infront of the fire. He was holding back tears.

He saws me, grabbed the buckets, and started throwing them on the fire.

I kept going back and forth, filling the water, and giving him the buckets.

Everyone was helping.

Philip went with me the next time for the buckets. When we heard walking. Like. Not regular. Army walking.

I pull Philip around the corner. I looked over it and I saw ten redcoats. With more coming in the harbor.

"They did that to trick us!" Philip whispers. Anger clearly in his voice.

I nod.

"We have to hold them back, the others need to put out the fire,"

Philip nodded.

I hand him the buckets and says,

"I will distract them, you go and tell them,"

Philip glanced at the buckets, then me.

He nodded and ran off.

I looked back around the corner and jumped out.

"It's a rebel!" They all yell out clenching their guns.

I stick my tongue out and ran.

I ran into the forest, that is. I heard the footsteps of them running after me.

Then my dumb self tripped- over my own fucking feet.

I quickly get up but then was pushed down again.

I kick them off me and ran again.

"You can't catch me!" I yell.

I ran for about 10 more minutes. When I realized they were gone.

I stopped to catch my breath when I was tackled again.

The person had a gag in his hand. For me obviously.

So when he tried to put it in a fucking bit him.

He jerked back and I managed to pry himself off me.

When I did that his gun fell out his hand. So I obviously I grabbed it and shot him.

Atleast I have a weapon now.
