Washington POV-

"Okay," I say. "We should split up, me and Philip go to the harbor, while you all make sure everyone is gone and stay in town,"

Philip nods. He walks over to me, then we head to the harbor.

We all had our guns. Speaking of guns. I don't think Philip has ever used one. I know George have since I taught him how. Philip was busy all the time so I couldn't teach him.

6 minutes of walking later and we saw redcoats. 20 atleast. Luckily they didn't see us. So us two hid in the bushes in time.

They were all standing by the harbor. Fiddling with their guns.

"We need a distraction..." I whisper.

"I got it," Philip says walking out the bush.

I reached out to pull him back but it was to late. The redcoats spotted him.

"COME GET ME YOU BITCHES!" He yells out.

The same two redcoats that tried to kidnap him ran after while the others stand there awkwardly.

One of them lunges for him but Philip jumped out the way.

"Missed me!"

Then he runs off. The others glanced at eachother then ran after him.

Once they were gone I ran to the harbor. What's the point? Well....well...there is no real point becides making sure no more redcoats come. That's basically it.

I stayed there for like....20 minutes...when Philip and Alex came running.

"S-sir mou-" Philip says but was cut off by an explosion.

We all jumped and I turned to where it came from. There was smoke. That's all I could see.

"Where is that coming from!" I yell out.

The two looked down and both finally said.

"M-mount Vernon sir...."
