How the hell a principal's office could be of green gates in this fricking outdoors? My lost soul looked around to realise I'm so alone in this giga playground.
I can't get a single thing out of it. The black-spider told me the way which I followed just now but here I am looking at a basketball empty court; nothing good.
With my hands over my hips, I turned back the way I came, and watched the wind blowing the sand behind. The sight was quiet dessert-full like my life.
Do I need to walk back? – my pity legs asked me.
Before I fully sigh,
"Oi!!"
My heart seemed to jump out of my body and run away with someone.
Who the mother-fucking, speaker-eaten fellow?
I shrank my lashes to identify a faint figure standing or floating behind the green bars, pointing at me and gestured to come in. He was like an oasis, confusing me whether I am hallucinating or not.
I checked around me and him... Only silence was accompanying us than anyone. A mere noise of rolling stone would be enough to catch attention.
Without my own knowledge, my legs carried me to him. Gradually his figure was no more shrunk but the tallest guy I've ever seen.
Am I really short, like that neighbour aunty told me?
My self-esteem was broken to its fullest that I can't find its pieces. The tall guy, smirked at me. Whoa! He's so much than erotic... Jesus.

"Why do you look tensed?" I tried hard to focus on the topic I need to discuss with this girl but... why is she staring at me like that?
"Why do I look like tensed?", she scowled.
Why is she asking the same thing?
"That's what I asked."
"Me too."
I was intrigued that why on earth did Trevor chose the dumbest duck into a category of admiration?
"Are you Laila?", I divert the topic.
"Why do I answer to you when you aren't answering me?"
What is she talking about?
"What did I not answer?", I folded my arms and looked at the shorty girl and wanted to see how far will she go if I let her.
She stared me extra hard and I regret to ask that. My bad that she began...
"You haven't answered many things to me", she breathed, "Do I really look tensed after seeing you? Why am I here first? Who in the hell built the principal office in the basketball court? Why did a black-hoodie guy talk to me? And why did I followed the way he said like a blind bitch? Why was he hot? Why am I telling you this? Why am I so short? Do you know how hungry I am? Why haven't you answer any of these? And why did you think that I would answer what you ask when you have never answered any of these, you tall brat!!?"
I bet she used all the stamina she gained from her breakfast for that.
Trevor you're dead, man.
"...", it took me solid one minute to come back to reality and say a word. Before I let myself, I chuckled at her way of saying that.
That was fucking fantastic! She is so much more than I thought. I can relate Mario now.
"Why are you laughing?", she pointed her tiny index finger at my face, seemed like she would poke it if a second passes. Does she thinks she's saying what I need to do?
"I don't want you to add this to the catalogue of questions", I held her wrist away from me and tilt my head to take a look at the boldest face.
"You don't make any sense." Laila gets her wrist off from my clutch.
I don't blame, dumbest brain always do stay behind pretty faces, that's true.
"Do you think this would?", my face turns to its left and the left gate of the court, behind me flies open with a noise of rusty.
That's when I saw the sight which I wanted to see in her face... intimidation.
I bring the chair which was next to me to Laila and she looks at me with eyes full of terror, silently sitting on it.
She didn't broke the eye contact even after she sits. Her eyes were so hazel and tells a tale but I'm not gonna believe it.
No way! She's the one who broke Mario's zipper, but look at her, those puppy eyes gleam like they deserve something else.
It confuses me. I couldn't break the eye contact either.
Mario taps my shoulder and stands beside with a smirk, slicing the kitten over the chair with his sharp gaze.
For a while everyone were talking with our eyes, tension dripping. "Now what made you silent, huh?" Mario severed the tension.
Laila lifts her middle fingers at him with a stone-cold stare. Wow! She's pretty good at hiding what she has in mind even though Mario's presence flips her stomach.
It was less than a second when Mario tried to sprang over her furiously; I shoved him by his chest before he did anything stupid on the first day. Laila didn't flinch when all this happened, one slightest bit.
Everything about her gave me a brief idea... I need to handle her. Not just handle, I need to really handle her.
She's swearing, I know. "You really wanna do this?", I ask her still sinking in the eyes of hers. She briefly throw a venomous glare at me but it was intense.
Her jaw moves toughly before she raised herself and storm off.
In a jiff, she's back to her seat when Trevor yanked her arm and pushed her figure to the chair.
I shut my eyes when he showed up that I know for sure he's gonna do something which creeps that girl out.
"Are you shitting me?" This girl is so bad in sitting properly as she shakes her legs, 10 times per second.
Trevor places his hands on both the arm rest of the chair, caging Laila, "Of course not, baby girl!"
Laila's face changes to more uncomfortable and she didn't think twice to slap him but Trevor held her wrist right in time.
"Don't you ever try this stunt, honey" He does his signature wink at her.
"I am not your honey!!", she grits her teeth and push him.
I chuckle at them both, lighting my cigarette. I gesture Mario to move out for a while and he vanishes from my sight.
"Mac, I think...", Trevor circles around me, grinning like a school boy.
"Don't say that!", I take a blow.
"I like her!"
Fuck it!
I release the grey smoke from my lips. Laila's face was sweating and she's now staring at the guy next to me who stole my black hoodie.
She blew a strand of hair from her face and heaved. "You planned this shit because I hit that elf, seriously?"
"Finally!" My brows jumped in amusement at the fact at the fact that she got to the point.
"And he's not an elf," Trevor clarifies, and I revert my gaze to him.
"Yes, he's not," Laila pokes her finger at Trevor. "Rather, an underrated trash can who slapped my cousin in front of my..."
"Whoa! Calm down, princess." He passed the steel bottle of water, but she pushed it to the ground.
Heck!
"Is that mine?" My eyes didn't catch that before.
"What mine?" Trevor blinked.
"That's my bottle!" I punch his arm.
"Who cares, bro?"
"Huh?"
"I mean, she didn't care, so..."
"Did you think before doing this?" I stomped the cigarette under my feet, looking at him.
While Trevor opens his mouth to say something, Laila rolls her eyes and says, "I am not a referee here, am I?" folding her arm. She's right. She's not the referee.
"I'll come to you later, Trev." I tapped him, and he said, "Good luck," shrugging.
That's impossible. For this girl? My friend is joking with me?!
Whatever.
Karma will bark one day, Trevor.
"(sigh) There is a reason you are sitting here, and you know what for." I pushed my left fist inside the pocket and pointed at the chair.
"I can file a complaint against you for what you've done right now, in the office. Do you want me to?" She talks like nonsense.
I ruffle my hair and giggle, trying to comprehend what the joke was. "You really don't know who I am, do you?"
"If I'm not wrong, you must be that horned Don of this fucking college who that elf mentioned to pretend that one must get frightened off. In that case, it's silly to hear," she flips her face against me.
She's kidding me, for real!
"That's plenty and good." I stood closer to her, composing myself in all possible ways, "I am that horned Don of this college. But what you don't know is that..."
I paused for more than I should have and saw her gulp. "I can handle kittens like you."
"Tsk. I am getting late, dude," she twirls her hair around her finger and tells me.
"If so, let us quit it right away. Let's be friends." I hold my hand to her.
She stared at it for a second and sucked in hesitation.

(Rhea)
"Where is she?" I asked the girl who was sitting next to us at the freshmen's party, and she replied that she had no idea.
What?
Laila got her head unscrewed again. I went inside the washroom for two minutes, and all she did within that time was vanish.
I looked everywhere in the corridor and walked closer to a guy wearing a black hoodie. "Excuse me, have you seen this girl who wore the same dress as me by any chance?"
That guy seemed perplexed. "Um, you mean, the blonde?"
"That's right!"
"She just went this way."
I wasn't sure, but... why is he pointing at the entrance door?
"Thank you! What's your name, by the way?" I smiled brightly, to end the conversation sweet.
Then I doubted myself asking it, because it took ten seconds for him to respond, "Why bother telling names? It's better to be calling me 'excuse me'! That'll do. Have a great day."
The hoodie guy inconveniently jogged away, quickly cutting off the conversation after saying such a weird thing.
Is he mentally okay? I guess not.
After ten minutes of wandering in the lost dessert of my new college, I think I got it.
Questioning myself twice or three times, I saw the biggest basketball court ever. That's fishy. I mean, not the court, but what's going on.
Laila really needs to have a mental checkup. Heating up my head, I strode towards her with the intention of snatching her from that place, but I froze.
Why on earth is she standing with a guy??!!
Hiding behind the shade of the branches and leaves, I watched my stupid cousin do something. Are they fighting? I don't know, but there's not much I can do, I suppose.
If she's dating him without my notice, I am going to prepare the finest soup with her skull.
The guy's face wasn't visible though, but I could still tell he's wearing a white t-shirt and black pants, paired with white sneakers. I bend further to scan the area to see a sudden entry of a black hoodie who pushed my Laila on the chair!!
Black hoodie?! I saw that before.
What fucking drama is this? That weird, mentally- ill guy treats her like that. I pushed all the leaves off my face and marched towards them to screw in the loosened bolt.
All of a sudden, my phone rang. Sparing a minute glance, I realized it was my online friend, whom I had a crush for several months.
What timing is this!
It's been a day since he's talked to me, and my heart thrashed in excitement when I saw him calling me.
"Hello!" I beamed like I was born to talk to him.
"Hello, Rio!" He calls me with a nickname, and my heart flutter.
"You've called me yesterday, and I couldn't pick it up. So..." His voice floats out from my mobile, and I stand where I am.
"About that? Don't worry. It's not a big deal. I just wanted to talk to you. And you didn't pick it up. I quit trying, as you would have been busy." I pluck some random leaves from the trees and drop them down without knowing why.
"I wasn't busy, Rio. I just had a night out, and I didn't notice the mobile at all." He adds a chuckle at the end.
That hooked me enough to chuckle along. And I am not sure what we talked about next, because nothing made sense. I just talked like a broken tap for too long, and he listened patiently as usual.
"Bye Rio. I gotta go leave for college," he says, and I felt a bit bad to repeat that.
But... "Okay, bye. Have a nice day!"
I pressed the decline button and looked around. It took a minute to come back from the dreamy mood.
Where am I?
Oh, I had this drama going on with Laila. I hastily hid myself again behind the tree and peeked. Everything is still going on!!
Astonishingly, I saw Laila shaking hands with the white-shirt guy. What for?
Are they breaking up with a truce? My boiled brain is getting complicated and numb before I yell, "HELLO!" to seize the non-sense.
Laila swiftly looked at me with amusement swinging in her eyes. I added, "What are you plucking here? I was waiting for you in the-"
"Rhea! Why did you come here? Listen, listen." She cuts me off. "I'll explain, but let's get back to where we left, okay?"
This girl is jumbling the jigsaw of my head even more and drags me by my shoulder, leading me outside the truce court. "But-"
"No buts, first calm down!" She puts her arm over my shoulder and didn't let a single chance to inquire about the reel that was playing a while ago.
The same black hoodie guy pushed her. A white-shirt guy was shaking hands with her hands. She was dating him but hadn't told me yet.
Argh! My mind, I hate it!
I walked unwantedly with her when I heard, "Oi!" behind me. Wait a sec. I shifted my gaze to the owner of the voice.
The voice, which was louder than I thought and deeper than I heard, called me OI!
"There's no Oi here." I told him, but there's nothing I could hear. Frick! Where is my voice?
The guy who called me pulls his finger at him. Why is he calling Laila?
My horror lost its horror when Laila stepped up and he said, "Tsk, no. You..." a brief pause, "come here." His eyes lock mine.
My heart skipped a beat and turned crazy. There was a small probability of noticing the blueness in his eyes, and everything else is black, but it caught me.
Covering my soul with a plastic wrapper, I think I guarded myself when I walked towards his enormous figure. Not gonna lie, he was fine. Those titan-black tangles got a beat from the breeze and revealed a heart-clenching sight.
While my belly button dances, when I further look into his dark, infinite-depth orbs, If I fell inside, I would never be retrieved.
Fuck, he's staring at me. Why is he so magnetic? There wasn't any second passed; it felt like.
"Ahem!" He did that, and I breathed my senses back. "Are you deaf? I asked you something."
I was actually wondering how his jaw works to cut the cap of the tin can, which I was struggling with yesterday. It's so chiseled for something unholy.
"Who are you?" I frowned.
"Stop pretending. You know me," he said silently. Like silently.
Do I know him?
"I have no clue." I shake my head. "Are you... the delivery boy who came to the house last week? Sorry, I've not noted your face clearly."
I turned back to Laila, who was silently standing behind me, ignoring the raging face of the guy in front of me.
"You're ruining it!" she mouthed. Wow! Well done, myself.
"You don't know me, but I know you." He signaled something behind his shoulder, and my forehead creased more.
Who is he? Cop?
"This is supposed to be yours," he says, showing me what I lost somewhere. My heel!!
How is he having it?
"Thank God, I got this." As I was up to get back my footwear, he raised it up in the air.
"As far you don't know me. Why would you get something from a stranger, huh?" he winked at me.
Dffhn;goelgn- What?
"You! Give back my heel." I jumped at it, which seemed to be in the sky.
"Sure." He throws my pretty heel at somewhere without an aim and looks at me and says, "Go take it!"
The black-hoodie guy chuckles at it. Why is Laila invisible?
She just blankly watched everything around me and him.
Whoever has charm never knows the point of mannerism.
I threw him a death glare and walked to my heel. There's no truce here... They are raging!
Why? Is this college made for it?
When I take my heel in my hand, I have no mood to wear it. That's when I saw Mario standing there too. A whirlwind of thoughts got to my head, and I got the idea of what's going on. Fuck, I'm stupid.
Laila's silence was contagious, and it caught me too. Thank God I haven't threw my heel at the white shirt guy when I thought to, who is wearing a black leather jacket now.
I took the heel in my hand and looked at him. "What did you ask me first?"
He was staring at me the whole time?
"What's your name?", he coldly tells than asking.
Uh, I thought he asked me something embarrassing.
I chuckled, but he stared at me strangely. He was doing that from the beginning. Is he looking at my hair or what?
"You make me assume your name is Cinderella," he blurted, hiding his hand in his right pocket.
Is that a compliment, or did the heel hanging from my hand do that?
That's so bad to hear from the irksome guy.
"And you make me assume you are my Laila from the start," the black hoodie guy cheesily tells, looking behind my direction where Laila was standing. What a jerk!
Suddenly, a flash light rubs my face and goes off within I could blink!
"Hello! How dare you click my picture without my permission?", I growl at the leather jacket but his concentration was only on the phone.
I angrily took the hulk man's step towards him, but he towered at me quickly and clicked another picture of me.
What can I say about this insidious leather jacket?
My hand flung to his fucking mobile, but the tall tower dodged it.
"Delete the photo, now." I roared at him to see his smirk, which was kind of hot, but I don't care now.
"You don't look like Cinderella now!" he points at the heel, which I tossed on the ground in rage.
"Hmph," I pouted and raised my finger at his face. "That's not funny. Delete the picture right now; we're done."
"And what you're going to do about it if I..." His mobile's flash light teased my face again. What's wrong with this guy?
I turned away, realizing I could not do anything about this fricking guy. I heard his laugh like the devil, while I walk away.
Suddenly, "Oi, I need your number!" he yells.
WHAT??
💜What do you think will happen next? And how is life going, huh? 💜
See ya. Take care. 👄
