Eh...? What's with the noise...?

I opened my eyes to see four people with horns growing out of their head and black wings staring at me. I stared at them back.

People with horns and black wings...? A-Are they...?!

"I told you to shut up!"

"I'm sorry!"

"E-Eh...?" I managed to ask out.

"Oh wait... She doesn't know yet..." One of the horned-winged man trailed off.

"You explain Sana." Another horned-winged female looked at the other female.

"Why me?!" The female whined.

"We all know that out of the four of us, you explain better, without scaring the girl." The other male said.

"Was that a compliment?" Sana's eyes sparkled.

"No, that was an insult." He deadpan.

"But how did it became an insult...?" She went to a corner, and... grew mushrooms...?

"We're devils, we don't need explaining." The other girl bluntly said.

The other three had their eyes widened, and my eyes sparkled.

Aha! I knew it! Devils come forth to seek my presence! Their fellow follower!

"Hana!" The three spoke in the same time then looked at me.

"WAIT! DON'T FREAK OUT!" Sana waved her hands around my face to dismiss the girl's mistake. "W-We're just cosplaying, 'tis all! Ahahaha..."

"... I don't mind." I spoke for the first time. "Is this Hell?"

"Um..." Sana looked at the others but they avoided her stare. "W-well, yes, you are in Hell... And a Devil now... BUT DON'T FREAK OUT!"

"Ah! The Devils had managed to turn their attention to me." I spoke, which they gave confused faces. "I don't mind becoming a devil in Hell."

"... Have you placed a curse on this little kid Sana?" The one who insulted Sana before asked.

"I swear I didn't!" Sana shook her head to the sides speedily.

"Why does she acts like you then?"

"M-Me?!" She panicked. "Y-You're mistaken! She just came here after she died remember?!"

A-After I died...? I thought. Died... Wait, where's Yui?!

"W-Wait!" They stopped fighting and looked at me. "Where's Yui?!"

"Yui...?" Hana thought. "Doesn't ring a bell on me."

"W-Wait! A-are you sure?" She thought for a moment.

"Hmmm, maybe I'm mistaken." She replied. "Guys, do you know somebody here named 'Yui'?"

"Yui...?" Sana mumbled. "I don't know somebody with that name. How about you two?"

The two boys shook their head.

I suddenly felt worried. Where is she?

"Why? Does she have any unfinished business with you?" One of the male devils asked.

"N-Not really..." I trailed off, a little sad because of her promise that she might not fulfill.

"Oh okie." Sana muttered cutely. "Just tell us what you need, and we'll be there in a flash! Right now, we have to attend our jobs, so hopefully it's alright to leave you alone...?"

I was thinking if she's actually asking or just saying. I nodded my head.

"Wah! Thank you for understanding!" She bowed enthusiastically while the four separated to do their assigned jobs.

Hmmmm, I wonder where Yui is... I thought to myself while staring at nothing in particular.

... Doing so, she didn't notice a shadow at her doorway, trying to study her completely...

In this series, there would be a two chapters in a single scenario; two because there are two POVs from both main characters.

There might be a few chapters that had slight different scenario because... Ummm, maybe it'll stall a few time...?

Our Devil Protagonist is smarter than kids-er-devils her age, so it's completely normal to have her say complicated words during her POVs.
