"Kartik hurry up!" Came a voice and Naira turned.

She saw Aashi coming closer to Kartik and put her hand on his forearm.

"How dare she!!!" thought Naira fuming. Her cheeks were turning red because of anger. He was looking at Naira interestingly. Naira glared at him and then Aashi.

"Hi Naira." Aashi greeted her as she saw Naira.

Naira faked a smile and Aashi immediately left Kartik's hand. She was still glaring at Aashi.

"Kartik? Are you going somewhere?" asked Dadi.

"Yes Dadi. Me and Kartik are going for a party.." said Aashi.

"He is going to a party! He could ask me to join them. Let alone asking, he didn't even find this important to tell me!" thought Naira with teary eyes.

"Ok but pehle lunch toh karke jao.. You guys sit. Main khaana lekar aati hoon." said Dadi.

I went and sat on the table. They both took the seat in front of me.

"What.The.Fuck" murmured Naira as she thought that at least he will sit by her side for lunch. If she was a cartoon character you could see fumes emitting from her ears, her eyes bloodshot and her skin a bright crimson. But alas that she was a human!

Naira was eating quietly while both Kartik and Aashi were gossiping.

"Dadi you know, Kartik is going to drive Naksh's bike. As he wanted to refresh the memory of our college life. So we are going on bike." Aashi said excitedly and Naira spit out the juice she was drinking and start coughing.

"Naira, you okay?" Dadi asked Naira patting her back.
Naira saw Kartik smirking. She gave him a death glare and then look at Aashi who was smiling like an idiot.

"How dare he to take her with him on bike???" thought Naira. She felt her eyes getting wet.

"Hell with you!" said Naira looking at Kartik and ran to her room.

"Nairaaaa.." called Kartik but she didn't stop went into her room closing the door behind her.

Naira sat on the floor when salty water started streaming down her cheeks.

"How can he make anyone sit with him?

Now she will hold him tightly!

She will almost hug him from behind!

And he will smile feeling her!!

But why is he taking her with him?

No. I can't let him go with her.

I have to stop Kartik.." thought Naira and wipe her tears and made her way to the hall. But they already left by then.

"Dadi where is Kartik?" asked Naira.

"They already left beta. Why?" said Dadi.

"They left?" asked Naira disheartened.

"Yes. Why don't you cone to my room and we will talk about your in laws? Come beta.." said Dadi.

"Yea Dadi I'm coming." said Naira and went to Dadi's room.

"Where are you Kartik? Its so late!" asked Naira over the phone..

"What? Naira I cant hear anything. Actually yahan par bohot loud music chal raha hai.. isiliye kuch sunai nahi de raha.. I'll call you later.." shouted Kartik and cut the call.

"What? Did he just..cut my call? What if.. No no Naira. You know Kartik for months. He said he loves you. He can't do anything like that.. Stop over thinking" said Naira to herself. Tears were streaming down her cheeks continuously.

"But I can't trust Aashi either.
  Okay. I can't sit here like this anymore. I  have to go to my Kartik.." thought Naira and went out of the house running wiping her tears.

She tracked Kartik's location as they had installed tracker in their phone for their security. She took a taxi and went to the place..

"Hello Dadi?"

"Haan Kartik. Woh bass abhi abhi nikli hai ghar se. Bechari bohot pareshaan thi. Tum aab aur mat satana usse.." said Naira's Dadi over the phone.

"Jee Dadi. And thank you ki apne mere iss plan mein mera sath dia.. Aab main rakhti hoon Dadi. Taiyaariya bhi toh karni hai.." said Kartik and cut the call.

"Kartik? Are you there?" called Naira but got no response in return.

"Location toh yahi bata raha par yaha pe toh koi bhi nahi hai.. Kaaartiikkk?" Called out Naira but suddenly rose petals fall over her. Naira got startled........
