I opened my eyes "Im swimming in the ocean but that couldn't be right because I can breath. I must be dreaming. At the bottom of the ocean!!" Laughing " haha kinda like how me and Connie was that one time. But focus Steven gotta figure out why I'm here" I pounded my fist on my hand with a serious expression on. I walked a little further down until it was black "huh where am I" I took a few more steps until a body came into view "hey do you know where I am" and then she spoke standing up without turning around "that voice!" She yelled it almost sounded like, then she turned around and it all made sense it was jasper! "Jasper!!!! Oh no I gotta tell the gems" I turned to run but I couldn't jasper had grabbed me "No please not my face. Not again" I tried to cover my face but it didn't work. Jasper lifted me up "listen rose i don't know how you got down here but when I find you" she paused and scaled me "the REAL you I'm going to crush you like the traitor you are rose!" I squirmed "but I'm not rose!!! I'm Steven!" She held me up in both her arms " your lies won't make it any easier for you" she had started squeezing me "and you can tell those crystal traitors to there HomeWorld that im going to hunt them down and shatter them one by one if it's the last thing I ever do!!!" And as much as I pleaded she still squeezed me until I proofed. That woke me up out of my sleep and I ran down the steps to find the gems

Over at the born I had explained to them what I dreamed about. Pearl was the first to speak "Jasper's still alive." She puts her hand to her mouth "is that even possible" amethyst spoke up " yeah didn't she fall off like the edge of the earth or something" pearl turned to amethyst "It was not the edge of the earth she fell off the island into the sea, one could only imagine that it's still possible that she's alive" Peridot ran around in circles " Oh no Jaspers alive and she's going to shatter us. Oh Pearl you've done it now!" Pearl glanced at Peridot "wah- My fault. How is it my fault." Amethyst spoke in "well you did kinda let her fall off the edge of the earth." Peridot came back in "SEE IF YOU WOULD HAVE SAVED HER MAYBE SHE WOULDN'T BE OUT TO GET US!" She yelled running around some more. Pearl yelling back "Oh you weren't even there!!!" Lapis walked up and everyone looked at her "what?!" Amethyst "Jaspers alive" lapis looks around before holding her hands up "don't look at me" all the gems look in different directions not knowing what to think. Garnet then spoke slamming her fist in her hand "it doesn't matter jasper is out there and she's coming for us. We need to prepare for when she comes. We're all crystal gems now. We're going to protect each other. And protecting Steven in now our top priority" she pointed her finger in the direction of house "gems to the nearest warp pad" amethyst and pearl repeated " to the nearest warp pad again" they said picking Steven up and running towards the warp pad. "Wait! But what about! Oh forget it" Peridot and lapis both looked at each other, shrugged and followed the other gems. Peridot looked at lapis. " but where am I going to put the star?"

Jasper P.O.V:

I wondered around for days. My gem cracked. I could feel it taking strange effects on my body, but I'm to strong for that. I'm trying to find my way back to that place. Flashback of our encounter running through my mind fueling my rage. Peridot. Yes peridot I wonder if she's made it back to HomeWorld. Or is she's being hunted to. Have they caught her? That would explain why there hasn't been a homeworld tracking vessel yet. I sat down for awhile to think things out. A weird looking fish swam up and swam around me. I swatted it away "pesky earth creatures" but to no affect the fish didn't move away it was a bright blue and orange. I looked around at my underwater prison. It was unbearable but calming unlike the last time. I struggled for months to get from under this earths ocean I never stopped to look at it. It was....I squinted my eyes together. Painful to look at. I needed to keep walking but I couldn't risk exhausting my gem. I will rest here for now. I placed my hand on my chin and waited

"Steven are you sure you should be doing this. I mean the gems made it pretty clear to stay at the house" peridot said walking down the stairs with him. "True but Jasper is somewhere in the middle of the ocean she can't walk all the way back to beach city in a day. Besides I'm just going to connie's house." Peridot spoke "lapis you don't agree with this do you" lapis held up a thumbs up "thanks lapis" Steven said as he left

"So Jasper is alive and after you," Connie said is shock. Steven took a bite of his donut " yeah but mm I think it'll be a while before she gets here" connie's eyebrow raised "and you think sitting at the end of the beach near water where she could possible emerge is a smart idea." Steven looked at the ocean then back at Connie " you're right" he got up putting some distance between him and the ocean by sitting behind a rock "there that way if Jasper comes she won't see us" Connie shrugged "I guess that could work"

"Finally, I've made it back to this town" Jasper said as she walked on to the beach to exhausted to take a step further as she collapsed on the sand floor" Steven hitched whispering loudly " it's Jasper" connie looked at the Jasper "yeeze, told you so" she walked towards Jasper only to be stopped by Steven. " no Connie the gems said to stay away she's bad" Connie looked " she's hurt. And I don't really think she'd hurt a human would she" she said walking up to her and kneeling. Jasper looked at Connie. "A human" Jaspers eyes widen "tell me do you know Steven" with no hesitation she replied "you're gem it's cracked. " Jasper pulled her attention to her gem then at connie. "Do you know Steven" Jasper said a now scared Steven ran up "no don't hurt her." Jasper faced changed to a more aggressive side "don't hurt me" Jasper ran towards Steven only to be stopped by garnet. "Steven get away from here" she exclaimed punching Jasper making her fly back as the other crystal gems comes in. Jasper couldn't fight back her gem was cracked and she was barely hanging on. Steven noticed this. Jasper stood looking at the permafusion. Rage in her eyes as she slowly walked towards her. "I will take great satisfaction in crushing you." Jasper spoke.

By this time Amethyst and Pearl had arrived on the scene. "Garnet" they both said in unison. Amethyst summoned her whip and Pearl her spear. Steven looked around at the gems and then at Jasper. "Wait wait" Steven ran out to the battle field "wait Steven no" Connie stormed after him. Garnet was fast approaching with her gauntlets when Steven jumped in the middle. "No stop!" Garnet stopped only inches away. "Steven move out of the way" Jasper only looked unable to summon her on weapon. Steven held his arms out as Connie approached besides him. Pearl walked up "Steven what is the meaning of this" she demanded. "I don't think we should fight Jasper. Her gem is cracked" amethyst ran up still in a fighting stance "uhhh that's exactly why we should fight her" Connie looked at Steven worried of the gems disapproval " Jasper isn't like lapis or peridot Steven, she's not going to change her mind about earth" garnet yelled frightening the others garnet wasn't one to raise her voice. " but garnet please how do you know if you won't try" Steven pleaded. "Garnet has future vision she can see the future" Pearl added and amethyst agreed "yeah. The future isn't wrong lil man" Steven shook his head " garnet please, even the future can be changed." Steven pleaded out. Connie stood infront of Steven " I think you should have faith in him." She tried to sound confident but she herself had doubts. "I know more often then not I give you chances to prove yourself. But that's only because I see them working. I don't see any outcome of this working out Steven" Steven turned to face Jasper " YOURE WRONG. YOURE FUTURE VISION IS WRONG." His face was filled with tears "EVEN HOMEWORLD GEMS CAN BE CHANGED" garnet and the other gems were shocked. Jasper grabbed Steven by his arm lifting him to where she was face to face with him. "Why rose! Why would you" before Jasper could finish her sentence Steven shook his head "you are your own gem. You're on earth. There are no rules here. And if you just stopped and looked around maybe you would see earth isn't so bad" Jaspers eyes squinted at him. But then she sighed and placed Steven down like she had found him. " I don't get what you're getting at. But I have no way back to HomeWorld. What choice do I have." Jasper stated calmly before dropping to her knees. "Rose....for now....you have earned my respect..." Steven smiled yelling "friends" the gems had put there weapons away and looked on in disbelief as Steven had hugged Jasper......

Authors note:
I personally don't think japer will be saved and at this point it's been brought to my attention that alone at sea is more about lapis and Steven on a boat then jasper. Not that I doubt Jasper won't make an appearance. The next chapter will focus on either her redemption or corruption read to stay tuned
