Everyone was happy doing their jobs and taking care of the house

Shazam was talking to Chris as they were eating

Hiro and Mikey was playing video games

And Twilight was just being Twilight

Being in the house of the The Crystal Gems was was nice for them all of them

But it was not easy for Hiro not to meet his mother but to also learn about his gem but he was only just a kid, how could he understand this? He only just had his father, the only one that can understand him now with new friends, they can understand him too

But he couldn't understand its on his own. He was only 16 years old he wanted to find his mom and to meet her face to face, but how can he do that without knowing his powers

Until one day, his gem starts to glow

" ummmm guys what's going on my belly button it's glowing " Hiro says

" your gem is glowing? how can that be!? " Twilight says

" So my son is Half-human, half-Gem" Chris says

His gem stops glowing making everyone looking each other in surprise not knowing what happened

" ok, what in the world just happened? " Mikey says

" I don't know Mikey but I feel like someone just got his glow but he hasn't unlocked his powers yet" Shazam says

" what are you talking about powers? glow? I'm only 16, so many explained this to me. I'm only just a kid. I never met my mom, and I only have my father left, and we just recently met you guys now tell me when the world is going on" Hiro says

" well, you are her son, so you had a glow not gonna explain it too much, you're right, you're only a kid and I can respect that, but you may have to learn about your power is pretty soon. I'll tell you what once you learn, you make go on adventures with us, but for right now is way too dangerous for you to go with us, do you understand that? " Shazam says

Hiro looks at him with a scared look, going on adventures seems dangerous even for a kid, his father would kill them dead. If he sees his son hurt or even kill

" what do you mean learn his powers? He's only my son I am not letting him go with you guys on adventures or anything at all if I see my hurt or killed you are so dead I'm not joking I can hurt you I have done it before well a few years ago but you know what I mean" Chris says

" way to be overprotective dad I'll be fine, they can protect me, they do look friendly, so what could go wrong? " Hiro says

" what can go wrong?! You are my only child you are not going anywhere young man I am not letting you get hurt, not on anything dangerous I am your father sure I'm protective I'll give you that but I need to protect you you are my only child, they do look friendly I'll give you that too but that doesn't matter do you understand that? " Chris says

Hiro stays quiet for a few seconds, then open his mouth

" why can't you let me go anywhere you are letting me be stuck in the house for my whole life hiding me away from the world and you are trying to do is not making me go anywhere in the world and your hiding too from the world you don't even care about me, you only care about mom who I never met in my life I'm going dangerous adventures with them whatever you like it or not" Hiro says

" I can't believe you just said that to me, all you doing is lying but fine, be that way, you're just as stubborn as your mom who you never met, but I wish you never met her at all even with your new "powers " if these 3 don't protect you, you are be grounded for a whole year and I'm not even joking" Chris says going out the door

" should I go after him it's all my fault I should never said that to him he is my father after all the only one left in my family " Hiro says

" you better give your father some space it wasn't your fault you said the right thing we would protect you he's just saying that to keep you away from us don't worry I will protect you just let him calm down" Twilight says

Hiro looks out the window and sees his father walking back to his house angry this was all his fault he blames himself but like they said they need to give him some space maybe they are all right maybe he can just stay here for the night at the gems house and to learn his powers more and more as he grows up stronger
