LILIKA'S POV 

I was gathering firewood, much to my annoyance. I mean, have you SEEN us Sylveons' ribbons? We do not DESERVE to get them dirty. They were made for a reason, you know!

I sighed and wrapped my beautiful tendrils around the wood, walking back to the cabin.

When I walked in, I saw Clipse and the Umbreon talking.

I carefully threw the firewood at him with all the force I had.

Without even looking, he caught it with his Psychic abilities.

"Excuse me, SYLVEON,"  the Umbreon snarled, turning towards me, his flame red eyes glowering down at me.

"Lily! What the Sunstone?? Calm down!" Eclipse yelped as she threw an apologetic look at the Umbreon.

"Well, SOR-REE for trying to save your life!" I yelled, annoyed. By the bows, I was just trying to HELP her.

"Lilika! Stop being a jerk! Mercury is hurt, so WHAT if he's a Dark type?! LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Eclipse screamed.

I gasped.

"Oh no..." Eclipse whispered, her face turning to horror. "Lily, I didn't mean -"

But I was already gone, tears streaming down my face.

ECLIPSE'S POV

Oh no...

What have I done?

Did I seriously just yell at my lifelong best friend and hurt her?

It's taken me my whole life to become her friend... and now I've gone and ruined everything in less than a few minutes...

Without knowing what to do, I sat on the ground, sobbing.

I started when I felt a tail wrap around my own, and I looked up to see Mercury smiling sadly down at me.

"Hey... you didn't have to do that for me... I'm sorry..." he said, looking down at the ground.

"No, no, it wasn't your... *sob* fault!" I gasped, and sank into him.

I got up quickly, realising how awkward it must've been for him.

"You can go get something to eat at the cabin... I'll talk some sense into Lily," I told him, wiping my eyes with my dual-ended tail.

"You're gonna be right?" He asked, worried.

I smiled. "I'm pretty sure Lily feels worse now. I'm so sorry."

He scoffed. "Sorry?" He asked disbelievingly. "You saved my life. If I hadn't wandered into your camp, those Spearows would have gotten me for sure... they already managed to snap my tail in half."

"But aren't you the most powerful eeveelution?"

"Well, technically speaking, yes, but there was a whole flock of them and I was already exhausted... anyways, what I'm trying to say is thanks."

"Don't mention it," I smiled. "Cya!"

I dashed towards the thicket where Lily had ran to. 

LILIKA'S POV

I ran blindly, tears blurring my vision. Why was Eclipse being such a jerk? She knew that Sylveons and Umbreons were natural enemies, so why did she have to go and yell at me like that?

I finally ran out of breath and sat down in the middle of the woods, crying.

I wish that stupid Umbreon had never come here!

"Lily?" Eclipse's voice asked, shrill and broken.

"Go away," I said flatly.

"Lily, look. I'm so sorry about what I said. I swear I didn't mean it..." Eclipse started crying, and I sighed.

"Thanks for apologising," I said. "There's no use holding a grudge, right?"

Eclipse smiled and we hugged. I wrapped my ribbons around her, and she took her dual ended tail in mine. 

"Forgive and forget?" She asked hopefully.

"Forgive and forget," I nodded, smiling.

"So, how about you come back and properly meet Mercury?"

I smiled. "That'd be great."
