Third Person

Shinsho Hitsohi had just moved into his first apartment. It wasn't anything nice, but it did get him out of the orphanages, now that he's 18 and been kicked out.

The apartment was a one room, one bathroom apartment with the kitchen and living room small, but put together and that was all hitoshi really needed for now, he told himself.

He was luckily able to get an apartment on the first floor of the four floors, no way he would be able to carry his furniture up the flights of stairs and none of it, but maybe a few stools would fit in the elevator.

By the next week he made sure that he would have enough food to last him the month, that would keep him healthy, as well as make sure he wouldn't have to get take out.

Then it took him two weeks between working and getting everything set up for him to buy his furniture. He bought a couch, a table, a dresser, and a mattress from different thrift stores, along with a TV and DVD player.

For the first three weeks he slept on a pallet on his floor, which was uncomfortable, but Hitoshi enjoyed every second of it. It means freedom for him.

In his three weeks of living at his new apartment he didn't really meet many people. He went to school from 8 to around 12, while going to his local gym at around five. He didn't get home till around midnight however because of his job and thanks to his tendencies to not sleep he didn't get to sleep till around 3 1 if he's really lucky.

That's about how Hitoshi's day to day life went. Nothing strange nothing that didn't happen that didn't happen everyday.

Hitoshi had been living in his new apartment for five weeks when he got home at midnight and his body was so close to shutting down for its own good, but Hitoshi was able to get some food in his system before he passed out.

However not five minutes later he could have sworn he heard glass break against a wall from the floor above him. Hitoshi jumped from his sleep, in that stage that even though he's sleep deprived that five minutes gave him enough energy till he calms down.

At first he thought that the glass breaking was in his head, until he heard a door slam and then the next minute he could hear someone's voice, it sounded like begging and that they've been crying.

By this point Hitoshi was to worried to go back to sleep so he walked out of his room and when he did this old lady was also out of her apartment.

"I decided to wait out here for you since your a new to living here, but don't worry about those noises. The two living there will never stop with it," she told him as she went back inside her apartment.

But that didn't make Hitoshi feel any less worried so he took the elevator to the second floor. Once there, he walked down the hall till he was at the room above his and he knocked on the door.

The person who opened up the door was a guy with short blonde hair and a black lighting bolt on one side of his hair. He had a jacket on and it was zipped all the way up to his chin.

"I wanted to ask you about the things that I heard," Hitoshi tried to ask as nicely as possible.

"I think your ears are playing tricks on you. Thanks for caring sir that's nice of you, but I have to go back in. I wish that I could tell you about the noise, but I didn't hear a thing," He said as Hitoshi gave her a worried look.

"Are you sure," Hitoshi asked him.

"It must of been the wind," he told Hitoshi.

"Well I guess I'll leave you, but before I do my name's Hitoshi Shinso, but you can call me Hitoshi," he told the blonde.

A/N This is mainly because I can spell Hitoshi way better the Shinso

"I'm Denki Kaminari, but you can call me Kami. That's what everyone else calls me that or Denki," Denki told Hitoshi as he closed the door and Hitoshi went downstairs back to his apartment, seeing as he walked down the stairs he passed an angry blonde, but just ignored it.

It was another month and Hitoshi's back was killing him so he did what any adult does when their back was hurting. He laid on his hard floor making his back feel so much better.

Hitoshi couldn't forget about the blonde that he meet last month, Denki, he reminded himself.

He saw a few times in passing and made sure to wave to him each and every time, but even still Hitoshi couldn't shake the bad feeling he had, but he didn't want to intrude because he knew that he didn't have all of the facts.

On the other hand he couldn't bear the thought of leaving her

As he took the elevator to the second floor, he could hear the same screaming again, but no glass breaking this time, just the same voice begging and sounding like it's been crying.

As he got off the elevator the same angry blonde from his night of meeting Denki passed him as Hitoshi walked down the hall and the angry blond went to the elevator. Once the elevator was closed Hitoshi went up and knocked up on the same door.

Denki opened up the door, the same jacket zipped all the way up to his chin.

His face seemed to light up when he saw Hitoshi, until he asked about the things that he'd been hearing.

Denki said, "I think that your ears are playing tricks on you. Thanks for caring Toshi that's nice of you, but I have to go back in. I wish that I could tell you about the noise, but I didn't hear a thing. It must of been the wind."

Over the next few months Hitoshi would check up on Denki whenever he was sure that the angry blonde was gone.

Anytime Hitoshi asked about the noise Denki always replied with the same thing, "It must of been the wind."

Hitoshi even tried to make things interesting whenever the angry blonde was gone.

One of his favorite times was when he walked out of his apartment with a boombox playing Lean on Me on it.

Denki loved it, but Hitoshi was hoping that one day Denki would lean on him. He even went so far as to saying 'you know that you can lean on me.

Hitoshi hopes that when Denki hears the words he knows that he'll be okay.

Anytime it truly got to be too much and Denki needed a relief that's when Hitoshi would once again aim his boombox at the roof playing Lean on Me just so that Denki knows that he can lean on Hitoshi.

It was after one of the times that Hitoshi bought out his boombox that afterwards he went in to his apartment with Denki to tell him something about the words because when Denki hears the words Hitoshi knows exactly he'll say.

"I promise that I'm not playing tricks on you. You're always welcome to come in. You could always stay here for an hour or two if you're ever in need of a friend. We can talk about the noise when you're ready, but till then I'll say that it must have been the wind."

"It must of been the wind," Denki agreed with Hitoshi as he took a sip of his tea with a smile.

I know that it doesn't seem finished, but that's because it's not suppose to be finished. The story is complete but it's not going to have another chapter. It's complete in it's own way.
