     Hi! I'm Ava Wilson, I'm Nineteen years old and i'm a Lycan. My father is the Alpha and of course the Luna is my Mother. Once my father steps down from his position I will be the next Alpha of the pack. I've always admired my parents because of the love they show each other, my mother says that I will find my mate one day but my father gets very protective over me saying that he doesn't want me to be taken away.

     Anyways let's get into the story... Oh by the way my father is Robert Wilson and my mother is Lona Wilson... Oh and I should also say that me, my father, and mother are the last Lycans on earth. Lycans can't shift into their wolf until they've found their mate.

     I was running through the woods with my best friend, she was in her wolf form and since I still haven't found my mate I was just running bare foot. "H-How do *pant* keep beating me?!?" Linda asked out of breath. "I'm a lycan, what did you expect." I laughed. We both jogged back to the pack house and was greeted with are other friend, Anna. "So any good news?" I asked. "Yes I've finally was able to make the potion!" You see Anna is a witch, she helps keep the border up with her mother for are pack territory. Anna showed us the potion and it was a pink liquid inside. "So what does it do again?" I asked. "It helps you heal from sliver quicker." Anna put a few drops into Linda mouth since I can't be affected by silver. She pulled out a small piece of silver and put it on her hand. "FUCK!" Linda yelled. Once she looked at her hand the silver mark was already gone. "Woah, that will do great when werewolf hunter try to fight us." I said.

     I waved goodbye to my friends and went inside the pack house greeted by my parents. "We are leaving tomorrow for the meeting with the vampire queen and her son." My father said to me. "Oh okay I'll keep everything under control here." I smiled. "Actually honey your going to be traveling with us." I was silent when my mother said this, I was going with them to see the vampire queen... "I'm sorry what?" They both looked at each other then sighed. "One of our pack members found their mate when they were out hunting and it was a vampire from the Vampire queens clan." My father said. "I haven't shifted yet though, what if something happens?" I asked. "Nothing will happen."

     I was think about this the whole day and before I realized it, it was morning. It's already the next day and were leaving in a few minutes... "DAMMIT I DIDN'T EVEN SLEEP!" I yelled, more like roared.

     "Whoa calm down Ava, i'm going with you since I'm your beta so it will be fine." Linda said trying to find me an outfit. "So go take a shower then put this on and come down stairs to eat." I finally got up from my place and took a shower, brushed my teeth then put the clothes on that Linda chose for me, which was a white crop top, black leggings, and black ankle boots. I went down stairs to the kitchen, everyone who lived in the pack house was eating in the dinning room so I grabbed a plate and sat next to Linda and Anna. "Girl you look fine!" Linda said whistling. I grinned at her.

Oh right I should describe what I look like so you can get an understanding. I have natural brown curly hair, cat like eyes (not to much catlike just a little!) green/hazel/blue colored eyes, plump lips, and in African American. (Sorry i'm not good at describing people:( ).

     Once I was done eating I headed outside and saw my fathers beta putting are luggage in the car. "Honey were going to be running there so call us when you get near." My mother yelled running into the woods with dad shifting into their wolf... I wish I had my wolf, I also wish I could find my mate.

     I got into the car and started my way to the house, Anna was in the passenger seat, while I was in the back with my fathers beta driving. "Ava it's been awhile since we have been able to talk." Andy said (fathers beta name is Andy). "Yes it has." I smiled. "So I was wondering if you wouldn't mind if we go on a date some time soon." You see Andy and me are dating we started dating last month but haven't told my father yet. "I would like that." I smiled again. After that I decided to rest until we got to the castle.

     It was morning and we we're half way to the castle. Anna decided to drive and let me and Andy chat before we got there, but it somehow ended up with us making out. "I swear get a room you two." Anna started laughing. "How long are you going to make me wait till I can make love to you?" Andy asked as he kissed my neck leaving a mark. "Wait Ava you two have been dating for a month and still haven't done it!" Anna asked shocked. "You need to be patient." I said kissing him.

     "Wait there's the castle!" Anna half shouted. We all looked at the beautiful castle as the light was hitting it. I grabbed my phone and called my mother. (Bold is Ava mom and normal is Ava)

"Yes Honey?"

"We're pulling up now."

"Okay darling let me get your father and we will come down!" My mother said excitedly.

     I hanged up and got off of Andy. Once Anna parked the door Andy opened the door for me helping me out. "This place is amazing!" I said. "Ava." I heard my mother say. I walked over to them and hugged them. "Andy make sure to bring in the luggage." My father commanded. We all walked in and gasped at the beauty on the inside of the castle. "You must be Robert and Lona daughter?" A woman said smiling. "Ava this is The Vampire Queen, Athena Fawn." My father introduced us. I bowed as a sign of respect but she said it wasn't needed. "I wish you could have meet my son but he went off to hunt." Athena explained. "In the daylight?" I questioned. "Oh he can be in the daylight since he has my royal vampire blood." She said. "Anyways let me show you to your rooms." Athena smiled. Athena walked us up these big set of stairs and down a hall way but I suddenly stopped at a door. "This room gives of a nice smell." I blurted out. "Everyone turned around and looked at me weirdly. "What does it smell like?" Athena asked. "It smells like mint and forest." I suddenly said. "I-I want more." Why is this smell so calming and relaxing, I want more of it. I suddenly snapped out of it when I felt a hand on mine. I turned to see Andy worried face. "Oh sorry." I said embarrassed.

     Athena finally took us to our rooms and let us settle down. She put me in the guest room that was down the hall from that room with the smell and Anna was two rooms down also Andy. I started to unpack all of my things when I suddenly heard a knock on the door. I opened the door to Andy standing there. I let him in and he instantly kissed me. "A-Andy what's all of this about?" I questioned. "I-I want you." He said. My eyes widened at what he had said but I then looked away. "How about we just lay down together." I smiled up at him. He nodded knowing that he needed to be patient and we both laid down together.

(Leon pov)

     I went hunting so my mother wouldn't have to tell me to show are guests to their rooms but now it's just boring out here. The sun is starting to head down so i'll start to head home...

Once I used my vampire speed to get home which didn't take long I headed inside. "Your back." My mother said. "Yeah." I said back to her. "I think you will like our guests." My mother said smiling at me. I decided to ignore her and head up to my room but once I got to my room a sweet smell was coming from down the hall, I started to follow it which led me to a room. The smell was amazing and I wanted more, it smelt of Roses and rain. I was going to open the door but I then heard my mother call for me. I looked at the door one more time then headed down stairs to my mother. "Make sure to dress casual for dinner, you don't need to dress up." My mother said to me. I nodded and walked back up stairs to my room to change... What was that smell?
