I suddenly woke up and noticed I was in a room, I didn't recognize anything but the wonderful smell of mint and forest. I slowly got up from the bed I was in and looked around, the room was pretty decent. I got up but soon sat back down from being dizzy. "Mom!" I yelled. I heard footsteps and soon the door to the room opened sowing Athena. "Athena? Where am I?" I asked getting up again. "Your in my son's room." Athena started walking up to me helping me out of the room. We walked downstairs to what i'm guessing is the living room. I saw my mother and father quickly get up and come to help me to sit. "My body hurts." I said sitting down. "Well you did have your first shift." My father laughed off. "Shift?" I questioned. My mother and father looked at each other sighed then sat down across from me. "Hun you shifted because you've met your mate, well saw him." My mother said. I tried to remember anything but only the smell of mint and forest came up. 

"We are gonna have to stay here for a bit longer since you can't travel just yet." My father said getting up along with my mother and Athena. "Anyways how about you try and calm down my son." Athena smiled. "Why do I have to calm down your son?" I questioned. "Oh right well you will know when you see him." Athena said. Why are they acting weird? I hesitated at first but followed Athena downstairs, it was dark but she handed me a candle and we started walking down further. It was like a dungeon. As we got further in the smell of mint and forest got stronger and I could feel my wolf stir. I'm kind of surprised that I could feel my wolf but i'll try and ignore that for now and find out what this smell was. "Here we are, how about you head in." Athena said pushing me into a cell. The smell was even stronger than before and it made me almost fall to my knees. I went closer to where the smell was coming from and there was a handsome man chained up. My wolf kept kept bouncing around trying to take control but I pushed her back.

Wait isn't this Athena son.......? WAIT H-HE IS MY MATE! I got closer to him and bent down to his level, slowly I lifted my hand up to his cheek and when are skin touched there was tingles and warmth forming. His eyes started to open and his cheek leaned more into my hand wanting more. It was starting to get hard for me to control my wolf. "Ava when he fully wakes up here is the key to the chains, unlock them and come upstairs." Athena said sliding a key through the bars. I grabbed the key and bent down again to his level. "So your my mate?" I said out load. He grunted and then his eyes shifted to me and when are eyes met I instantly fell in love. His eyes we're amazing and so mesmerizing. "Unlock the chains." I suddenly heard him say. HOLY SHIT HIS VOICE IS SEXY!

I shook my head and unlocked the chains to which he fell. He then quickly grabbed my hand and dragged me upstairs. He pulled me to the living room where everyone was. "Ah there you both are." Athena smiled getting up. "Where is he?!" My mate said/yelled. "Who?" My mother asked worried. "That beta!" He said getting angry. "Andy?" I blurted out. My mate turned to me and his pupils turned to slits, seeing him angry when I said Andy's name made my wolf whimper. My mate heard this and calmed down a bit. "Ava i'm happy for you, you found your mate!" I heard someone say behind me. I turned around and there was Andy, he looked sad but angry at the same time.

"I think it's time to tell your father about us." Andy said putting more into the word us. I felt my mates hand tighten as Andy said this. "tell me what!" My father said seeming angry. "Well Alpha me and your daughter have been dating for a month now." Andy said smirking. My father quickly turned his head to me and also my mate. "Andy get out!" My father yelled using Alpha command. I felt my mate feel more at ease with Andy gone but it made my wolf sad that he was mad at us. "Ava I will talk to you later about this but for now how about you and Leon go talk." My father said. So his name is Leon...

Leon dragged me upstairs into his room and sat me down on his bed. "Is it true, what he said?!?" Leon asked getting angry even more. I looked down and started to speak, "Y-yes, me and Andy have been dating for a month now." I couldn't look at him knowing that he would have hate in his eyes. "Did you kiss?" Leon asked. I didn't want to answer so I nodded my head. "D-did you have se..." I didn't let him finish and quickly blurted out, "NO! I-I was waiting to do it with my mate." He didn't say anything but I knew if I looked up I would brake down into tears. "I'll just have to cleanse you of him then!" What does he mean by cleanse? Suddenly Leon grabbed my wrist and pulled me up from his bed, and before I knew it his lips we're on mine.
