Sanskar is the best

Highly unedited part...please bear with me.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After two days, Arnav was discharged and was advised to take bed rest for a minimum of three days. He was very happy to get back home but was equally pissed off when his wife didn't let him touch his laptop. Sanskar and Abhay were doing their work from Raizada mansion itself not willing to leave their Arnav bhai.

Abhay wanted to meet Vishal but Sanskar said they would go together once Arnav bhai is fit and fine. Now that Vishal is out of way, Abhay and Piya got together well and are happy with their relationship. Khushi was busy taking care of Arnav and in all this, Sanskar missed Swara. And he was also eager to know what Swara's father thinks about him. For that he was waiting just like how a topper awaits the results.

Swara is the only one who wanted to find out about Vishal and help him in any way if she can so that he wouldn't try hurting Abhay or Sanskar in future. She went to the police station many times but Vishal didn't wish to speak to her. Inspite of agreeing that he did everything to destroy Abhay, he was not at all ready to say why he wanted to do it.

One night as Swara was searching for more information about Vishal to prove herself wrong, she received a call and looking at the caller Id, a smile instantly curved her lips. Putting aside her laptop, she answered the call.

"Hello madam, do you have some time for me?", asked Sanskar.

"Always Mr.", replied Swara with a smile.

"Ah I am missing you Swara", said Sanskar making her smile wider.

"Wow, the great Sanskar Maheshwari is missing me", mocked Swara.

"Hmm not much though, just a little", chuckled Sanskar.

"By the way did your dad say anything about us?", asked Sanskar.

"No Sanskar, since that day, he has not spoken a word. I wonder what's going on in his mind. And if at all he disgrees, you will take me away from here right?", asked Swara afraid of getting married to someone else.

"Ofcourse not Swara, I can't disrespect his upbringing by doing that. He is your father and he has every right to decide what is good for you. I could never take his happiness away from him just because he didn't think me fit to be his son in law. Just because we want to live together, we can't forget those who are with us since our birth. Think from his side Swara, how will he agree to some random person who claims to love his daughter after hearing so many tragedies about frauds everyday in the news. And moreover I have a lot of plans and dreams about the things I and my father in law would do together, so don't spoil it for us", said Sanskar with a chuckle.

"Oh you are marrying me so that you could get a father in law", asked Swara with a pout.

"Imagine for yourself Swara, how cool it would be when uncle and me watching cricket having pakora made by aunty ofcourse, because you don't know cooking, later having a game for ourselves drinking tea followed by a walk discussing politics...", but before Sanskar could continue, they heard Shekar's voice from the hall.

"Shomi, I told Rakesh's family that we are not interested in their match", hearing which Swara's heart danced in happiness and she went silently towards her room's door to hear clearly asking Sanskar to be on the line.

"Great Shekar and what do you think about Sanskar?", asked Sharmishta hesitantly.

As Swara waited, her heart beat increased and she clutched her phone tightly wanting to hear a positive reply from her father. Taking his time, Shekar sat on the couch as if thinking something deeply.

"Take Sanskar's parents number from Swara. We will talk with them", said Shekar.

"That means you like him", asked Sharmishta excitement and happiness evident in her voice. Looking at which Shekar smiled at her and nodded in yes.

"He was right, I couldn't find any reason to reject him. I enquired about him through my colleague as he knew one of the lecturer in Sanskar's college and they were all in praise of him. No single remark from any of the lecturers and no rumours on internet as well. All I could hear about him is that he is well disciplined and hard working. And also Sanskar completed his MBA in the same college in which Swara graduated. May be they know each other since then. I must say my daughter took very good decision", smiled Shekar feeling proud of his daugther. Happy tears made their way out of his eyes which he wiped instantly showing to the world that he is strong.

"Also I want to make sure that everyone in the house she steps into accepts her with love because in the future she should never feel that her mother and father are not beside her", said Shekar trying to hide his tears making his wife smile with tears as she knew the father and daughter duo since Swara was born.

Hearing this Swara couldn't hold back her tears. She remembered her childhood where she used to tell everyone that she loves her father more than her mother, and how they both used to team up together and irritate Sharmishta and how she always felt proud of her father as he used to get her everything even before she asked for it. But the possessiveness which she enjoyed as a kid started suffocating her when she entered college because she wanted to go out with her friends and his restrictions always were the reason for endless arguments increasing the distance between them. But then how did she miss the love hidden beneath his strictness?

"I will talk to you later Swara. Take care", saying which Sanskar disconnected the call understanding that she needed some space.

Without wasting any more time, Swara rushed towards her dad and hugged him sitting beside him and putting her head near his heart startling her father.

"What happened Swara?", asked Shekar not understanding the reason for her sudden outburst.

"I am sorry dad", apologized Swara sobbing her heart out.

"Shh, relax bacha", Shekar patted Swara's back to calm her.

"I know I shouldn't have been so strict but I was scared that you would fall for a wrong guy like your aunt and make your life hell. And I am really very happy that you proved me wrong. Sanskar would be the best son in law I could ever ask for", said Shekar and hearing the last sentence Swara whined.

"Papa, you and your would be son in law are same. He was also lecturing me about the time he would like to spend with you. Do you at least understand that I am the reason for you both to meet? So please give me some credit as well", said Swara breaking the hug and folding her hands across her chest.

"Oh you are our princess Shona. Trust me I am going to miss you a lot when you leave the house after getting married", said Shekar and Swara could see tears forming in his eyes.

"But I would be glad to get rid of you Swara...at least I don't need to see this father and daughter drama", said Sharmishta to lighten the mood.

"That's so mean mom", replied Swara with a pout making her parents laugh at her cute antics.

"Don't mind her Shona, I am sure she would be the one who would miss you the most", intervened Shekar looking at his wife.

"Aww I will miss you both a lot", said Swara hugging them both together.

"Enough now, let's have dinner", said Sharmishta wiping her tears and breaking the hug.

With a smile Sharmishta went in to arrange dinner on the table while Swara went into her room to attend a call.

"Hey Swara, hope you didn't forget that my marriage is day after tomorrow", came in Kavya's accusing voice.

"No Kavya, I do remember...it's just that I was a bit busy. So, I couldn't find time to speak with you", replied Swara calmly.

"Oh God, you and your social service. Anyways, you have to come to my home tomorrow itself. Already you have missed mehendi and Sangeeth", complained Kavya.

"Kavya, I will have to speak with my manager about the leave. I will surely try to come to the wedding", said Swara trying to make her friend understand.

"Swara, I know you are still angry on me but please forget everything and come to the wedding. I want your presence on my special day. All our friends are coming", pleaded Kavya.

"I am not angry at you and you don't spoil your mood now. I will be there", agreed Swara and disconnected the call.

"In all my happiness, how did I forget that I will have to face my past very soon?", sighed Swara sitting on the bed.

"Fine let's just not think so much. I will just go, wish her and come back...that's it", thought Swara shutting her mind to stop all those unwanted thoughts.

"Swara, come here", called Shekar at that moment and hearing his happy voice, Swara rushed into the hall.

"Swara, look Sanskar has been nominated for the best entrepreneur of the year award and the award ceremony is going to be held this sunday and guess what, it is hosted in Kolkata", said Shekar with pride evident in his voice and his eyes not leaving the television screen.

"Oh my God", saying which Swara dialed Sanskar's number while Sharmishta too joined them in the hall forgetting all about the dinner.

"Hey Swara, I was about to call you", said Sanskar answering the call at the first ring itself.

"Congratulations hero, I am literally jumping with happiness", replied Swara and Sanskar smiled hearing her enthusiastic voice.

"Hold on Swara, it's just the nomination", said Sanskar being modest.

"I am sure you will win", said Swara with confidence evident in her voice.

"Even Arnav bhai is saying the same but let's leave it to that moment. I am more happy that it is in Kolkata you know", replied Sanskar and Swara wondered what's got into Sanskar suddenly that he is becoming a bit romantic day by day, not that she is not enjoying his attention.

"Swara, I too want to speak with Sanskar", asked Shekar bringing her back to this world.

"Sanskar, papa wants to talk to you", saying which she handed her phone to Shekar where he congratulated Sanskar and their conversation lasted longer than Swara imagined. It was surprising to her to see how they both clicked so well and that too so soon.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------That's all for today guys. Hope it's not that boring.

So, Shekar accepted Sanskar...happy dance.

Few words on Sanskar.

Now, why is Swara thinking so much to go to her friend's wedding?

How is today's part?

I am eager to hear from you.

Thank you for all the love.
