Chapter 3

Izuku's POV:

While the girls were upstairs in Ochako's room, Izuku went to the kitchen to get a snack. As he walked over to the fridge, he remembered his best friend's expression when she came back from talking to Recovery Girl about him getting released from the clinic. She looked red in the face, and was kinda distracted when she told him what the nurse said. It wasn't a big deal to him then, but now it was bugging Deku. He feels he should know what's bothering his best friend, other feelings for her aside. He was about to close the refrigerator door, when he heard, "Good day fellow friend!" and almost jumped out of his own skin. When he finished calming down his heart that was beating a billion miles a second, he finally got a good look at who scared him half to death. Standing in a strait position was Tenya Iida, Izuku and Ochako's other best friend. He had blue hair and glasses, with the flexibility of a robot. (Which he sometimes acted like.) "Hi Iida, what's up?" Izuku said. Iida gave one of his signature karate chops. "I have come to ask you something!" Izuku looked at him curiously. "What is it?" Iida straightened his glasses before he answered. He looked at him with steely eyes. "I want to know the truth," he said, still staring. "Do you like our classmate and acquaintance Uraraka in a romantical way?"

Ochako's POV:

When Ochako and Eri got downstairs, they started looking for Deku. First they looked in the lounge, then his room (Where they saw all his All Might merch and thought it was cute,) and finally in the kitchen, where they saw him with Iida. Deku looked really pale, which worried Ochako, but he told her he was fine. (Though he didn't look her in the eyes when he said that.) After that, they went back to the lounge and watched some TV. When they finished almost a whole season of the show they were watching, Ochako realized how late it was. "Deku, it's 9:00! We need to put Eri to be-" she stopped, and stared at Eri, who was already asleep. "I guess we'll have to carry her," Deku said. "Which room should she sleep in, mine or yours?" Ochako blushed a bit. Being in Deku-Kun's room, she thought. "I-I guess we can put her in my room." When she said that, Deku's face got a bit red. Is he okay? She asked him if he was feeling good. "O-oh, I'm fine!" he said in a flash, as if he was worried about something. "Let's get Eri to bed!" He then rushed up the stairs. Hmm, okay.....

Izuku's POV:

That was close, he thought. He rushed up the stairs before Ochako could confront him anymore. He was still shocked after his conversation with Iida. He thought back to when he asked him about Uraraka. "Do you like our classmate and acquaintance Uraraka in a romantical way?" he heard. It took a while before that soaked in. When he realized what Iida was saying, he waved his arms around while blushing, and denied it. "W-what are you talking about? I don't feel that way about her! Uraraka and I are just friends!" Iida looked at him skeptically. "Midoriya, if you like Uraraka, you can tell me," he chided. "You know I won't tell anybody." Izuku stared at the floor for a bit before he said, "F-fine. I do like Uraraka-San in a way that's a bit more than friends." Iida looked a bit more triumphant than Izuku would have liked. "Yes, I suspected that. You and Uraraka act so embarrassed around each other that It's hard not to think one of you likes the other." he told him. Izuku was worried. "I wasn't that obvious, was I?" he fretted. Iida thought for a moment. "I guess not. But the embarrassment came from both sides. I think Uraraka might have feelings for you as well." Izuku's heart pounded when he said that. He couldn't believe it. His crush might like him back. "You-you really think so?" he asked, hopeful. "That she likes me back?" Iida looked at him and then said, "I was only guessing. The only way that you'll find out if she likes you back, is if you ask her yourself." Izuku's hope turned to dread. "W-what?! I can't! She'll hate me!" Iida shook his head. "Does that sound like something Uraraka would really do?" Izuku faltered. "No....I guess not." "Then ask her! She won't judge you for being curious." Izuku caved. "Fine. I'll ask her." Now, as he carried Eri to Ochako's room, he wondered if he could keep that promise.

Oof, sorry I haven't updated in a while. I was mostly putting up with my little sisters and reading fanfics.  Anyway, hope you enjoyed the chapter!
