Part 16
You tossed your hair over your shoulder and placed a smirk on your face. Gathering all the courage you had, you hiked up your skirt and sauntered into the club. In high school, you used to do a lot of drama and plays so you had a little bit of acting experience. Even though you ended up falling in love with computers, you always felt that the arts helped you become who you were now. So you mustered every bit of acting juice you had and began to play the part of the drunk party girl.
You bounded up to the bouncer and smiled wide, flashing your teeth. He gave you an annoyed look and made a shooing gesture with his hands as you giggled and bounced away. You made your way to the dance floor and pursed by the hordes of people, giggling and stumbling. You would apologize when you bumped into someone a little too loudly before finally collapsing at the bar. You grinned at the bartender who was watching you in amusement, a light smile on his face.
"Having a good time?" He asked as you pretended to nearly fall of the stool. You laughed loudly as if he'd told the funniest joke in the world.
"I'mmmmm wonderfullll..." You slurred obnoxiously, giving him a drunken wink. "C-Can I have a vodka... what's that fruit called? The one you use to make sauce at Thanksgiving?"
"Um... cranberries? You want a vodka cranberry?"
"Thass the one! Thank you sooo much, you're the best..." The bartender shook his head an disappeared behind the bar to get your drink. You giggled and swayed on the chair, trying to keep up the act. There was no telling who was watching. Your target could have been staring at you the whole time and you'd never know.
"Y/N?" You nearly jumped out of your seat at the little voice in your ear. You recognized Jimin's voice in your ear and you composed yourself.
"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you. You're doing great, he's already noticed you."
You desperately wanted to look around at Jimin's statement, but you had to keep yourself in character.
"He's the one in the red suit. Remember he likes the willing and vulnerable. Bring him to the back alley and we'll do the rest."
You casually looked around the bar and noticed a tall, dark-haired man in the crimson suit sitting a few stools down. He grinned and winked at you and you resisted the urge to gag. You smiled in return and waved a little sloppily, so he knew exactly how drunken you were. His eyes flashed like a hunter eyeing his prey and he started to make his way over to you. You pretended not to notice him as the bartender returned with your drink. He was about to give it to you, when the glass was intercepted by the red suit man. You turned in surprise to see him smoothly pull the drink in front of him, sitting on the stool directly next to you.
"Allow me, my lady." He said in a rich accent, smiling sweetly at you. This man was different from Rey. He was suave and polite and even though he was at a bar, he looked like he could fit in at a gala. A man like this was even more terrifying than someone like Rey. Here was a successful and wealthy man who preyed on girls who were too intoxicated to fight back. He used his money and power to his advantage and even though you were terrified of him, you also hated him.
You forced your disgust down and smiled a little lopsidedly.
"My hero!" You exclaimed a little too loudly. The man chuckled and was about to hand you the drink when he dropped his wallet on the floor.
"Oh, how clumsy of me." He said, a little exaggeratedly. You narrowed your eyes doubtfully as he bent down to pick it up. When he sat back up, you realized that he had taken your glass with him. He handed you the drink and you took it, eyeing it suspiciously. If you knew anything, you knew not to take a drink that you didn't see poured yourself. And this man had just made a show of bending down to get his wallet. Had he slipped something in the drink?
"What are you waiting for? Don't you want the drink?" The man asked, nodding at the glass that was clutched between your fingers. You felt a pang of panic as you racked your brain for a solution. You couldn't drink this, but you couldn't let him get suspicious.
You smiled and brought the drink to your lips. Just before you were about to toss it back, your felt someone graze your arm as they passed by. You took the opportunity and pretended that they had actually shoved you harder than they had. You jerked to the side and dropped the glass on the floor, watching as it shattered and spilled the contents all over the floor.
"Oh no!" You exclaimed loudly. You jumped up and got down on your knees to try and wipe the mess up with your hands.
"My dear, what are you doing? They have people for this kind of thing." You felt a calloused hand graze under your chin and lift your head up. You met the man's eyes and your eyes started to swim with tears. You weren't even sure if this counted as acting anymore. The man gave you a sympathetic smile, but you could see his hunger in his eyes. He reached down and took your arm, helping you back up to a standing position.
"T-thank you..." You said quietly, surprised at how gentle his hands appeared to be. You suddenly felt his head bent down close to your ear and his hands started to trail up your arms and over your shoulders.
"You know, I have to admit... you looked very beautiful down on your knees." He whispered gruffly. You felt your cheeks flame and disgust crawl up into your throat. You wanted to gag and spit at him, but you composed yourself. This was what you wanted. He needed to be attracted to you. He would get what was coming to him soon.
"Is that so?" You purred, allowing your hands to trail up his chest and around his neck. You forced the nausea down as you started to play with the ends of his hair and puffed out your chest against his. "I bet you know how to show a lady a good time." you added sweetly, batting your eyelashes innocently. The man's eyes flashed with anticipation and you suddenly felt the palms of his hands on your butt. You felt violated and dirty, but you had to make it look enjoyable so you giggled and pretended to hide your face shyly.
"I'm bored of this place. Do you want to get out of here?" He whispered hungrily, licking his lips. You nodded, slightly in a daze that it had been so easy to pick this man up. So easy, in fact, that you barely processed when he started to pull you towards the front door. It wasn't until you saw the bouncer when you snapped out of it and realized that you needed to bring him out the back.
"Um... hey, wait." You grabbed the man's arm and pulled him to a stop. He looked at you curiously and you quickly turned on a sultry smile, wrapping your arms around his neck.
"I don't think I can wait much longer... let's go out to through the back... what do you say?" You purred suggestively. His expression didn't change and you felt desperate the prove that you were serious. You leaned in before you could change your mind and pressed your lips against his. It was a wet, uncomfortable kiss but you tried your best to make it look authentic. Luckily for you, he was enjoying it much more than you because he wrapped and arm around your waist and pulled your closer, mashing his lips against yours. You knew you couldn't be the one to pull away, so you let him kiss you, hoping that he would get your message and follow you out the back.
Finally, he broke off and you resisted the urge to wipe your mouth with the back of your hand. You giggled and pushed your body against his.
"Let's go out the back..." You repeated, twirling a finger through his hair. His eyes darkened as he stared at you and you felt a surge of panic that maybe you were being too aggressive and maybe he thought something was up. But finally, he smiled and took your hand.
"Lead the way, sexy." He whispered, winking at you. You turned around and gripped his hand, weaving your way through the crowd. You felt your heart in your throat as the weight of what was about to happen settle in your chest. You knew that if Suga and the others didn't keep their end of the deal, you may end up in a similar situation as what had happened with Rey. You had to be on your guard, and you had to trust that they would be there to save you. You had to trust them like they were trusting you.
Finally, you reached the back door of the club and stepped out into the back alley of the club. You paused for a few seconds and looked around. You weren't sure what you were expecting, but the empty street still made your stomach drop. You could feel the man behind you and you mentally braced yourself as you felt him pull you around and press you against the wall. He started to trail hot kisses over your jawline and neck and his hands pressed your arms against the wall, basically immobilizing you. You wanted to push him off, but you knew you had to keep him occupied.
"You know, you're so hot in that tight dress." He whispered suddenly, biting down on the skin of your neck. "Honestly, I should just take you right here." He snarled a little louder, his grip on your wrists tightening.
You closed your eyes and forced the bile in your throat down. Just a little longer. That's all you needed. Just a few more minutes.
"You know what's the best part about all this?" His mouth lifted to your ear and you felt one of his hands graze over the skin behind your ear.
You felt slightly panicked when you realized he was dangerously close to the bug in your ear. If he found it, it would give you away. You attempted to push him off, when suddenly you felt him press something hard and metal into your stomach. You heard the unmistakable sound of a gun cocking and your eyes widened. His eyes were suddenly in front of you and he put his finger to his lips, making his message clear: make a noise and he would shoot you. Your lips started to tremble and you resisted the urge to scream.
"You were trying so hard to stick to your by-the-book plan." He continued to whisper in a low voice. His free hand moved to you ear and his fingers gently pulled the bug out of your ear. "You were just so transparent." He said with a smirk as he held the small metal object between his thumb and index finger. In one easy motion, he crushed the bug and you felt the air leave your chest when you realized that it was happening again. You made the same mistake of counting on anyone else besides yourself.
"Let her go." You heard a familiar voice behind and you nearly collapsed at the sense of relief that passed through you. You hadn't been abandoned. They were here to save you.
The relief went as quickly as it came when the man grabbed your arm and pulled you forward. He shoved you in front of him to use your body as a shield and twisted your arm behind your back so you were immobilized. With his free hand, he dug the barrel of the gun into your still-tender ribs. You saw Suga, Jungkook and V all standing in front of you. Jungkook and V were on either side of Suga, pointing a gun at you and the man. Suga was twirling his pocket knife. He looked calm, but you could tell that he was tense from the way his mouth tilted down.
"Don't make this worse for yourself." Suga said in a dangerously low voice. If you had been on the receiving end of his tone, you would run the other direction.
"Worse for myself? No, I think I'm in a prime position." The man hissed. You shivered when you realized how close his head was to your ear. You closed your eyes, silently praying this to be over soon. They were all here, so they should be able to get you out of this with ease. You needed to relax. You needed to forget about the metal barrel pressing into your ribs. One wrong move and...
"This is a prime piece of ass you landed, Agust D." The man said, pulling you from your thoughts. You were caught off-guard at the use of Suga's gang name. Most people knew him as Suga. Agust D was only used by people in the inner gang circle. The leaders, the lords. The really important people. That fact alone made your heartbeat increase. What person had they sent you to bait? Who was this man?
"I'll be honest, I fell for her at the beginning. She was really good. And then... then she insisted on going out the back. And I noticed a little metal piece in her ear."
You felt tears well up in your eyes. So it had been your fault. He had figured you out early in the game. You had given them away.
"How much is she worth to you, Agust D?" The man asked, and you could almost hear his grin in his voice. You looked up at Suga to see that he was no longer twirling the knife. Instead, it was clenched in his fist at his side. His jaw was clenched and you could see the pure animalistic anger in his dark eyes.
"You're in no position to be making demands." He snarled.
"Oh, I beg to differ." The man suddenly moved the gun from your waist and you exhaled sharply when it was no longer pressing into your side. He used the tip of the gun to brush a lock of hair from your face and neck, exposing the skin there. Then you felt his teeth graze over the skin of your neck and you audibly whimpered.
"Stop it. Not another movement." Jungkook snapped, stepping forward slightly.
"Ah, ah, ah..." The man placed the barrel of the gun on your temple and Jungkook stopped.
You sucked in a sharp breath and felt a tear leak down the side of your face. Was this how it was going to end? Was this truly your destiny to die in this way? After everything you had been through, after everything you'd endured... you supposed whatever deity watched over you had a cruel sense of humor.
