our instruments play their own music

"Like a pianist,
with perpetually moving fingers,
glides harmonies out from
a simple black and white
keyboard,
I do the same with mine,
only I string words instead of notes;
and even if my work is not
written in the same symphony,
it still holds the power to move
an audience until they cannot think of anything
but my wonderful music.
