Finally it was the match day in Wankhede stadium.

(PS: I wanted to go with Chinnaswamy being a bangalorian but Wankhede has my emotion😍. But you are free to imagine any stadium in India)

The stadium was full, many holders, banner, poster of there cricketing idols were all over the stadium. It looked like Christmas had come early!

The energy in the crowd was outstanding. As the team's entered the ground for the practice they felt blessed to be loved by so many.

Dada hugged virat ruffling his hairs.

Dada didn't know how this innocent kid turns so aggressive on field! It would always be a million dollar question for him.

Virat was seen laughing and childishly talking to yuvi, bajji and zak. They were ticlking him and at times giving him a piggyback ride.. they had absolutely forgot that they were in opposite teams. Dada was sure they'll make a deal with mahi bhai so that virat will be in his team every alternate year😂.

Aya bhai came his reply as he ran back to his team. The team meeting was going on

Sonu- nahi yaar me opening nahi karunga!

Jinks- bhai toss time

Mahi bhai smiled as he walked for the toss.  Dada was standing there with a broad smile on his face.

As the coin flipped it fell in mahi bhai's favor and he elected to bowl first.

Sachin paa and Sourav Ganguly came in to open surprising everyone as everyone expected viru to open with sachin paji.

Bhuvi had the ball, mahi bhai was setting the field.

But virat was standing next to mahi bhai looking at sachin paji with Star stuck.

Mahi- cheeku hosh me aa, match hai

Virat smiled shyly..

First ball went to a six, second and third too.

Virat was whistling Rohit had to tell him that wo opposite team me hai bhai!

Virat- aree me tho batting enjoy karenge

Virat went to first slip, to stand with his bhai and look at his idiol.

Mahi- Bhuvi koi nahi aram se

Bhuvi's next ball was a slow one when Sachin paa stepped out of the crease mahi bhai had already stumped him out!

Sachin looked at mahi smiled and walked off.

Viru paa stepped in and the next two ball were dot!

Jassi came to ball and dada and viru had smashed 28 runs in that over.

Virat- bhai me bowling karu🥺

Mahi- cheeku

Virat- bhai please ek over agar ek wicket nahi gaya tho I'll not ask again 🥺🥺🥺

Mahi bhai looked at sonu and both gave up and handed the ball to virat.

Rohit- bhai nahi please ye maat karo, ek hi over me 36 hojayega

Virat- tu jaltha hai mujse kamine

Mahi- shut up both of you thank god we are away from stump mic

Virat- deko Na bhai isko

Ro- bhai me ne jhoot todi bola

Sonu- guys chup hojao. Bhai ek over dedethe hai isko

Rohit- tho me bhi karunga bowling, isko kyu me bhi

Virat- nahi tuje nahi milega

Rohit- kyu

Dada and sachin were looking at mahi like " we petty you kid"..

Mahi bhai asked virat on how he wants the field, while virat said that bhai ye sab app deklo me tho sirf ball phekunga.

Virat took the run up and before he threw the ball Rohit stopped him.

Virat got irritated and went back to once more to take run up. Rohit gave a small slap on virat's head.

Rohit- saale no ball karne wala tha

Virat- shit! sorry!

Virat in his ajeebo garib style balled his first ball and it directly hit dada's pad. Virat, mahi bhai appealed to lbw and it was given out!

Dada was literally looked stunned. How did this happen?! Even viru was looking like ye kese  hogaya?

Virat was jumping up and down!

Virat was about to remove his shirt but mahi bhai held his hands while dada looked at them like what is happening!?

Rahul Dravid walked in..

Viru paa was on strike.

Mahi bhai walked to vi and told him something.

The next ball was a full toss, viru paa hit it with full force.

Jaddu ran behind it and jumping up or literally flying up he caught the ball..

Rohit carried virat up! Like dho ball me dho wicket!

Virat jumped on mahi bhai, and the team jumped on them!

After 5 overs the score was 59-3.

But yuvi paa and rahul bhai had a partnership of 50 runs which was broken by ash.

Finally
Bhuvi had 3wickets, virat had 2wickets, jassi and jaddu had a wicket each.

And the score was 245-9 in 20 overs.

Mahi- so ro and sonu pad up.

Virat- bhai aaj na me apka kaam karunga aur appmera kaam karoge

Mahi- ?!

Virat- you'll go one down while I'll step in at 5 or 6!

Mahi- pagala hai kya? Aur wese bhi captain me hu

Virat- tho, me captain ka chota bhai hu🤭. Itna tho fayda utanuga na

Mahi bhai shakes his head in disbelief..

Rohit and sonu walked in as zak came up with the ball.

They had started building up good partnership of 40 runs in the first 3 overs.

Anil kumble took the ball for the 4th over.

His first ball and Rohit got out trying to play a flick shot.

Mahi bhai walked in and the crowd went crazy.

Dhoniiii dhoniiii was only thing that could be heard.

Mahi bhai stood there for a second looked around the love he was getting. His eyes teared up, but wiping it quickly he took his gaurd.

Sonu bhai hit a four on the next three ball but went clean bowled on the last ball of the over.

Shikar and Jinks also had a few short partnership with mahi bhai.

But now the score was 84-4.

Now it was time for the mahirat show!...

The captain cool and the run machine...
